Beautiful fall day! Lots of Bison, a few Antelope. Fun drive!

This is a special place. The views are amazing as you can get a 360 view once on top. I am amazed every time I hike this. It’s especially beautiful right as the sun is setting. I highly recommend this hike. It’s a short hike that can be done with family. Perfect for the casual hiker. It’s perfect for dates. You will not be disappointed

Great place for the night. Definitely feel like the Fall would be a better time for a family to go. Bison roam, its quite beautiful. Great scenery. The visitors center is fun. Found some good souvenirs for the family. I talked to my family; its already in the works for a visit. I happened to be here as a driver for a university. Great experience! Very educational.

Short fairly easy hike. Great views of the sunset and the Great Salt Lake.

Great place to go biking, we rode our Himiway Cruisers out to the southern end of Antelope island. Way fun!

Great views here but not much to do...no activities. Beautiful overlook though.

This is a great easy-level trail. While there is some incline, it’s relatively short and enjoyable. The trail is well maintained and ends at the top of a hill that had beautiful views. My boys especially enjoyed climbing all over the rocks.

Love this island. The scenery is beautiful and offers great views of wildlife. There are a few easy/moderate hikes that end in stunning views of the lake and a different view of the Wasatch Front. Highly recommend a visit if you have never been. There are public bathrooms at main stopping points and gift shop located at north end of the island.

Quick trail with great views. The trailhead itself provides great overlooks in multiple directions.

This trail was so worth the hike. When you get to the top its quiet and majestic! There are bugs so make sure you douse yourself in bug spray but it is so worth it! I hiked the trail twice in one day because I was so in love with it

Easy hike up a maintained trail. Lots of footpaths branch off from the top, featuring panoramic views of the Great Salt Lake and surrounding area. Plenty of rock outcroppings to get out of the wind or find a quiet space.

This is a must try hiking area in Antelope Island.Absolutely a stunning place, with superb views of the Great Salt Lake.To get here you’ll have to pay 10 dollars (per car) but it’s totally worth it the visit and the hike.You can go down to the bay and walk around the beach area, close to the lake or you can hike to a hill on the top, which offers you amazing views of the area.Either way you’re going to enjoy the beauty of Utah and the charming of the Great Salt Lake.

Great short hike, it cleared up today from the rain so visibility was almost unlimited! At the top of the trail we could see north to Ogden and south to Tooele. Wildlife spotted: Coyote, Antelope, and Bison.

The view is amazing from the top, except it was so hot and couldn’t stay for a long time.

Quick hike on Antelope Island. A little steep at first, and pretty buggy once you get to the top. The views are worth it!

This was a great trail to get the full view if the snow capped mountains, salt lake and landscape. This is a must stop.

I think this is highest trail and point in Antelope Island. Panoramic view from Buffalo Point is so nice: beaches with barbecue area, salt lake... I didn’t see buffaloes from this point in my visit but believe in different time they are there. I saw 7 buffaloes from road when a drove around island. I think this is perfect place to make sunset photos.

Amazing views and the hike was easy.

We only had time to do one hike with a one year old and a three year old as they were a bit sick and couldnt quite handle more (and we were slower than usual as well). This hike was just hard enough for my three year old to feel proud of himself for doing all on his own. The views were pretty great. We had a few spots where social trails made it hard to figure out where the official trail was, but the trail was mostly well marked. It is pretty rocky at parts, so it might be hard for some who arent as steady.

Great views and a fun park to go geocaching. Bathroom/outhouse was quite stinky but its not plumbed and just a campground outhouse.

Great place to get away for the evening and let the kids play in the sand. Saw the buffalo from the trail and not a bad hike. Go at sundown if u have the chance.

Very enjoyable trail.

Love this place, all times of day, all seasons. Can be a bit slippy in spots during winter, with icy patches; during these times you may wish to make microspikes your friend. At the end, theres a beautiful spot that would be lovely for a sunset proposal.

A beautiful view of an island surrounded by a salt lake. The rocks around have adorned the view into an elegant outline with the horizon against the water body.

The grand kids loved this visit! We had lunch, found several geocaches, and went to the visitors center. We did see bison, but not at this location of the island

Great short hike up a hill to amazing views of Salt Lake! Hiked mid-July about 9:30am - a little hot but not too bad, and really no problem with bugs. Convenient having pit potties in the parking lot. This is the way to see Salt Lake!! It is a rocky climb, and only .4 miles one way.

No bugs beautiful!

Good hiking trail most of the year. Dont expect to find any shade in the summer months. But its one of the better hikes on the island. Very good lookout point. Watch out for the supposed ghost that wanders this area. Although Ive not seen him. Yet.

Its bug season .... mosquitoes and other biting bugs. But the scenery and wildlife is wonderful!!!

This is a beautiful place to take a hike and get a gorgeous view of the Great Salt Lake and the rest of Antelope Island. it is short, so if you and your date or family arent athletic, this is great for you.

Buffalo Point is a nice short hike 1/2 mile one way, 250 foot elevation climb lots of rocks to play on. Kids should enjoy it.
