Urban park nice to walk dogs

We planted so many trees here

It was nice. Didnt even know it was there. I can tell the residents and city are working on the whole area to make a nice neighborhood. Paving roads no garbage.

Its an open air shooting range. I wouldnt walk through that park in full body armor. Scary and dangerous place.

Beautiful park, nice landscape, and a ton of room for family gatherings, it also has a pool for summertime swimming and fun, although the area can be a lot at times, this is a very nice neighborhood, and a joy to see all the beautiful children at play.

Ok park.. the Southside scares alot of people from going to the park . The shootings etc..

Despite what many masses would say this park is very safe compared to many other parks around Syracuse

Very relaxing

This park is actually a great resource for the surrounding community. I have brought students here from the area to launch rocket and we have given away rockets for on lookers to launch. A lot of children and their families come here to enjoy the pool and the other facilities. It really is a great open space right in the middle of the inner city of Syracuse. Its proximity to Onondaga Creek will make it a great next stop on the extension of the creek walk coming from downtown Syracuse. There is already a platform by the creek with educational plaques explaining the importance of the creek to the Onondaga Lake watershed. Though this park is a great resources to the area, one should be not be naive to the possibility of criminal activity that could and has occurred in this park. It is truly unfortunate that the social deviances are allowed to diminish the value of this resource. Nevertheless I would encourage all in the area to utilize his Park for the good of the community and drive out and expose those whose behavior unfairly discredits the good people of this area. Pitch in to make this park clean and safe.

This pool is awesome. If you are handicapped this is the place for you. They have a ramp for the handicapped.

Despite me going to beaches or public pools It was a nice day not to many kids so got to enjoy a day with my 3 year old thank you

Great place to rest/relax watching snow fall in the morning time.

It could be a nice place...make sure you wear good foot coverings..hard soled shoes...saw kids breaking glass bottles in the grass and yelled at them to stop and the reaction was to look at me like I was from another planet and walked away AFTER breaking the glass anyway...SAD

This weekend I went to a pop Warner game to watch young kids play football and it was so much marijuana smoke that I had to leave it was terrible that these adult can do that around the kids
