A great escape room/puzzle adventure for all ages without a doubt! The manager Liam was very friendly, interactive, and overall great. This adventure place offers many different puzzles to choose from that range from short to long running times. Each section offers a unique look. Come try this out with a group of friends or family and you will have a fun time and want to try more. I highly recommend this place. Everything inside was created by team members who are continuing to work on even more puzzle ideas!

One of the best escape room type places Ive ever been too!! I love the concept of the games with an open floor plan and interacting with the staff(actors) to solve the puzzles. This place is a WHOLE lot of fun for groups of all ages. Definitely worth every penny. Theyre always adding new games too! I go pretty much once a month at this point and have a blast everytime. 10/10 highly recommend!

Props were good, but its like youre in one giant escape room with tons of other people...except no rooms are enclosed. So nothing like an escape room. Clues were very very bad (but would be good for children).I give one star because this shows as an escape room on google. Had I known it was more of a free-for-all, several people in a giant museum-esque place, I wouldnt have came. My review must reflect my expectations from their advertising.

Such an awesome adventure! This is an entire experience and makes you think. Its almost like a scavenger hunt to decipher clues and unravel the mystery. While 5 wits and the escape room are also great, this gives you a huge space to work through, and there are tons of different adventures! You arent limited to the same 5 games each time with no changes. The staff are incredible - Liam and the young lady at the desk made the adventure even better through their own acting and character personas they took on - straight through to their amazing costuming! They were so good to us, kind, funny, and just offered us a great afternoon! Thank you! Definitely check it out!

Took my nieces to do a bunch of mall things during a recent visit and this place was above and beyond their favorite experience! We let them pick one thing to go back and do again and they unanimously voted on Museum of Intrigue. Staff does a GREAT job. They make their own sets and they are created beautifully. The puzzles are challenging but not too difficult and consist of a nice variety of problem solving techniques, so everyone is able to contribute and feel challenged.

My friend and I went to the mall thinking of doing an escape room and decided on the museum of intrigue instead. Its completely different than an escape room and more of an interactive exhibit. I forget the name of the story we did. But it was one with a repeating code. Although it was more thinking than we anticipated (our fault for choosing that story) it was A LOT of fun. There are many exhibits from the arctic, to salem and even a science laboratory to explore during your story. We expect to be back.

Today I gave the Museum of Intrique (3rd floor of Destiny Mall) a try. Its a kind of a variation on the escape room craze. I really enjoyed it. I played alone so had to do it myself. But I was up for that and have some escape room experience. I probably could have used a little help (and the staff did help me when I got stuck). but still it was fun for me. I found MOI to be well done. The idea of a museum that you can roam to find clues is unique. Other players may be around as well as staff that might be playing parts in the adventure. I chose a mid level adventure. Took me about 1.5 hours. Again, I was playing alone. Be a bit faster with others. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The space is well done and there is nice attention to detail. The price was fair for the entertainment value and comparable to per person prices for an escape room. The puzzles were at times quite clever and there were a couple in my adventure that made me smile. It was a good time and I can highly recommend this place for puzzle, game and escape room enthusiasts. Its similar to escape rooms but it is its own (new) thing and I found that refreshing.

Absolutely fantastic, from the actors (that were VERY good at their jobs in every aspect) to the details in the museum itself. It’s an experience unlike any other, filled with puzzles and plots that get your brain working really well. If you’re a fan of anything that emmerses you into a world, from escape rooms to even renaissance festivals and you want something new, this is 100% the place to go. It’s the type of thing that brings out the fun in everyone. The only downside is that it’s so far away from my home (which, to be fair, is in TN). Definitely a place I’ll revisit whenever I get to take trips back up.

Located in the Destiny USA mall, The Museum of Intrigue is a cross between an escape room, and a murder mystery evening. The location is a larger, recreated “Museum” and you are not confined to a room with only your party, are free to roam the Museum to solve your adventure. Our party included myself, my wife and our 18, 14 & 6-year-old children. We were hoping going in that this would not be an impossible mystery to solve and that the adults would be frustrated and the kids bored. Nothing could be further from the truth. We picked the 20-minute adventure titled Still Life. The adventures are all priced by duration, but you are not limited to that time frame. Instead, the time frame given is a guide as to approximately how long it will take. You are free to take as much time to solve your adventure. The staff working there are all actors performing in character the entire time (I think). We were greeted by Liam, the Museum’s art gallery curator. He was in quite a tizzy over the fact that a local artist had donated a painting to the Museum, but he could not find it. We were given five items to locate in the Museum that would lead us to the location of the paining. The clues were challenging, but easy enough to solve in a reasonable amount of time. In all we spent about 40 minutes on our adventure. The “staff” of the Museum are there at anytime to help, or sometime will lead you astray. It was fun taking Liam’s advice and then wondering if it were true or not. At one point, one of our clues vanished and we were given a side task to do which was hilarious. The staff/actors were all amazing and really made us feel as if we were part of a real adventure. The Museum itself was meticulously designed to both look and feel like a real Museum, but also work to hide clues or lead guests to their next clue. Our entire party had a blast. I think The Museum of Intrigue is really geared to the 12 and up crowd. My 6-year-old was able to assist the adults, but I don’t think he could have solved many of the clues on his own. I don’t know if they have special adventures for kids.I cannot rave about this place too much. We were unfortunately pressed for time and couldn’t stay longer. The creators, management, and staff all deserve a lot of praise for pulling this attraction off, because it works, and it a ton of fun for the whole family. This would be an amazing date night spot.We are already planning out next trip back.P.S. Can someone please give Liam a hug, we know he needs it.

The staff are all wonderful [shout out to Miss Molly for cheering us on and being a wonderful guide for our adventure], and really make you feel like you are working hard to get things done. This isnt like other escape rooms, you have a whole museum to explore, and a staff to interact with, but if you want their help, you should be prepared to help them first. This place is absolutely magnificent! I took my 16-year old (we were in town from Indianapolis) and we couldnt get enough. It is an absolutely fantastic upgrade to a traditional escape room. You have a story, the entire museum to explore (I think over 15 rooms!), the staff are actors that can help (or even hinder!) your progress. If you get stuck, they help without being too pushy on sharing the knowledge, and if you want to progress on your own, they are totally fine with that too. Some of the stories require knowledge from the staff, and I really enjoyed getting deeper into the stories and characters. The staff are so incredibly friendly and level up the experience. My son and I ended up doing 6 or 7 stories in the two days we were there. Each one is unique and takes advantage of the huge space. Some thoughts that helped my son and I really enjoy ourselves: dont be afraid to ask for help!! If you love puzzles and really want to work it out on your own, thats great, but if you want to move your story forward, just ask. Explore the whole museum; dont rush!! There is so much to see and explore. Come with an open mind. This is an experience - not a timed event and no one is grading you! :) Have fun and goof around. Please bring this to Indy!!! And if you dont, the family and I will see you in the fall!!!
