This was our first time at this park, and the boys absolutely loved it. It is a very nice park, with lots of things for the kids to do, and it is nice and open so the parents can sit back and see pretty much everywhere. We will definitely be coming back here again. The teddy bear statues are also very cool.
Very nice park for children from very young to mid terms. There are numerous climbing and play structures in a natural setting. Artificial cliffs modeled after the real limestone cliffs behind them provide a safe climbing environment where children can then jump into soft sand without risk of injury.
Very cute, unique park with activities for ages 1-10+. It is a smaller space, but very well laid out and the giant stone teddy bears are so fun! The kids loved it, we will be back.
We love this park! It’s tucked into a corner lot with rock walls that literally keeps this place secured with a gate. This location opens up at 8:00am and not any sooner due to the enclosure of it. A lot of off street parking and off a main drag so you can stop for food after playing. If your kid loves to climb, dig, slide, trains, and teddy bears I highly suggest this park! I appreciate that there’s real bathrooms and changing tables for little kids compared to a portable bathroom any day. Only bummer is there’s no swings! So head on over and see what you haven’t experienced yet!!
This park is awesome, good variety of playground equipment and tons of good photo ops!
It was pretty and all but way too small of an area if your trying to run your kids out of energy.
Great park for younger kids and toddlers.Public parking just across the street.
This is a cute little playground nestled in old town Stillwater. Beautiful. Clean park with lots of climbing structures, stone teddy bears and sand areas to play in. Good spot for photo opts of the little ones. There are relatively clean restrooms available, fyi. I would only recommend this place for kids under six as it is more suited to them. Also, it gets busy! We were there early on a Tuesday and I was a bit overwhelmed by the crowd.
Fun for kids and designed such that its easy to keep an eye on them. Benches for parents to sit but not alot of shade from summer sun.
I love this place. Still Water is my favourite place. I love scenic.
A cool place to spend time with all age group kids.. play area, slides and rock climbing.. and good palce for taking pictures too.. nice teddy bears out there..
Agree with the prior reviewer. My kids LOVE this park! Once or twice a year we have come to Stillwater from an hour away to play at the park, eat downtown and go on a hike. The candy store was open, but the park was closed. This makes NO sense! The Fairy Falls trail we always hike was also closed. This is terribly annoying. I think well find a new tradition, sadly.
Fantastic place for 2 thru 8 year olds. Neat and well maintained.
Wonderful park for toddlers and kids. From sandpits to slides theres lots of activities to choose from. Not a lot of shade but Id still recommend.
A fun & safe place for the kiddos - thank you Stillwater for building & maintaining such a fabulous park!
This is a fun park for the younger aged kiddos. The statues are adorable, the playground equipment well maintained, and the area is surrounded by a tall gate with only one way in or out (nice when keeping an eye on multiple lively kiddos). The park sits on the top of the hill, so the views are fun from the park itself.A large parking lot is right near the park, so you dont have to worry about street parking on a regular day.
The park is smaller than I thought it would be. A little bit crowded. Have to wait for the chance to get photos of the bears.
Didnt see much of the park!! But Im sure it is fun for kids
Perfect size for our infant/toddler!
Website does not tell you that their closed for the season. Me and my 2 toddlers drove 1 hour one way to see and play but it was closed. At the same time most of the indoor shops were open. We were just looking for safe alternatives and an outdoor park with a teddy bear theme would have been just the ticket.
Amazing little park, makes me wish I was young again
Fun, unique and safe environment. One entrance/exit makes it easier to keep kids safe. A variety of fun things for kids of a variety of ages. Rock climbing wall was fun. It was busy so it was very hard to find parking the day we went.
Awesome free activity for kiddos probably 7 and under..
The kids always have a blast here!
Awesome park for young children.Padded walkway around equipment.Sand pit(s), rock climbing, and exceptional slides and photographic memory making places. This park is worth a visit to historic Stillwater, Minnesota.
This park was SO fun with our two-year-old!! Lots of slides and fun equipment he could navigate on his own. Areas with sand and rocks to play in/on. Plus several large, adorable teddy bears. made a trip from St. Paul for the morning and it was well worth it... well be back :).
Tried to surprise our kids. Our surprise was the park is closed for the season. We were all disappointed. Please update your website / google search to show that the park is closed so others dont make the same mistake.
FYI SAYS ITS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!!!Google says it’s open normal hours.... but we got there and there’s a sign that says closed for season!!!! BUT besides that we love love love this park!!!! It’s my daughters favorite!!!! We drive all the way from Farmington to play at this park!!!! Haha!!!
This is one of our favorite parks! Great fun, awesome location, great community programs and so many great photo ops. It’s a great place to come with the family.
Fun themed park for children and children at heart. There are lots of fun things to climb. There is space which can be reserved. Whoever carved the stone teddy bears did an extraordinary job. There is a sign which days to not climb the statues, but Im pretty sure that no one sees the sign. Those bears just seem to beg to be climbed on
My kids had a blast and it was well made
A very fun, unique park. Weve only been once but our 4 year old loved it! Obviously the teddy bears were a hit but my son also loved the train, the slides, and climbing on the large rocks. There was a good variety of features at this park and well definitely stop in again when were in the area.
Super cute park!!! My 2 year old loved it! Parking can be difficult though...be prepared to walk. We were there on a weekend and it was very busy! Stillwater has tons to see...definitely take the time to spend a few hours there and walk through downtown.
Very nice park.. some different slides n stuff for kids.. very clean and neat park. Good park ...
Fun little park with lots of things to do to keep the kids engaged for hours.
Great little cute park..very clean and has the soft mat around the whole playground.
Drove up to visit this park and found out it was closed for the season, wish the hours were updated.
Excellent Park to visit with young children. Felt very safe for toddler to run around in and he loved all the slides, trains and things to play with!
Loved this place. Perfect for my 4 year old. Infant was a little more challenging and wasnt much shade on the turf part of it as she likes to eat sand and I didnt want her on cement and when didnt want to be in her stroller any longer. Theres no swings but beautiful park! P.S. bring sand toys for more fun!
This place makes the kids faces light up immediately, highly recommended. We go out of our way every year just to bring the kids here every year on our annual RT.
Loved this place, especially how there is only one entrance in and out. Its easier to keep tabs on your kids. Plus, there arent any high risky features where kids might and hurt themselves. Its a safe playground, yet kids can still use their imagination for play. Im not a fan of sand pits, theyre messy, but the kids loved them.
What a wonderful gem of a park! Theres so much to do. Its exceptionally multifaceted. A rock climbing wall that could tempt (and even challenge) a mountain goat. A tree house/ slide combo big enough for mom and dad should you find yourself having to forcibly extract your charge. Lots of fun little train themed play places. A giant gazebo for the playful-pacifist in your life. And a giant teddy bear to justify the name. You cant lose here! Well, its big so you could definitely lose a child or two. But theyd have fun until the panic sets in.
Great for all ages of kids 1 - 12 years of age. Handicapped accessible with @ rubberized and astroturff.
Nice little park that is unique.
Cool teddy bear park. Lots of eating areas and stores nearby in walking distance.
An unique little park/play area with a variety of objects for younger children to climb on and slide down. Unusual for a play area that there are no swings. Ample sand area with different sand box items scattered throughout. There are nice restrooms. Ages 3-12 are ideal for this play area.
Small park with tons of personality and fun! Built right into the cliff, this park has a few different climbing pieces, amphitheater, and a huge sand box tucked next to the cliff. The equipment is unique, featuring a train and a tree to climb. We came early on a Saturday and it didnt get busy until about 10:30 am- after that it was a little chaotic we we left. We will definitely be coming back!
Its on a hill which is VERY hard to drive the stroller to. I had to into the street to keep my kids from tipping.
Great place to bring your kids small enough never to go out of sight.... And the huge bears you can take sweet pictures with your kids!!!! Walk down the street to mon petites Cheri for the best cookie treat or brownies for them too :)
Its a very kid-friendly place and its fun for the parents as well and its located one block off of Main Street in beautiful Downtown Stillwater
Great place take kiddos
Cool place for the little ones
Stopped by this park with a friend and her sons. They are ages 3 and 5. The two boys had an absolute blast at this park. This is a kind of scenic park with features that are photo worthy that youll never forget. I brought my moms friends son here when he was 6 and hes 12 now and still talks about this park. Definitely leaves a footprint in your memory. Very clean park. Highly recommend.
My kids loved this park so much. It has such a wonderful history and an amazing city around it.
Great, fun place for kids!
Fun park with lots of room for the kiddos to play.
Great placw
Fun for all.
Such a fun place for the littles!!!
Very nice park for kids and its has lot of other fun activities for children
This is a great park for younger children. It is a small park but well situated with a single access point. No worries about a young child wandering off. I think it would quickly bore a child over the age of 10.
The kids loved it. The park has clean bathrooms and is well kept.
Always a pleasure taking my kids there
Very good play park for kids. Its. A small park but if u are around Stillwater and wants ur kids to spend sometime than must go. If you plan to visit this park from other area than not worth to drive only for this park. Stillwater full of other activities and if you coming for that and visit this park than good.
Fun place for kids, well maintained, shaded seating, kids friendly flooring, clean washrooms!
Such a fun little park. My Son and Daughter absolutely loves it here
This park is amazing. It has such an artistic theme and the layout is set up really well for multiple ages to enjoy together. One of our favorites for sure!
Very fun and kid friendly.
Very nice park, feels safe, secure and fun for the kids. Whats keeping my star score low is the water system. On a day such as today (89 and humid) the water in the drinking fountain came out as almost steam. No matter how long you let it run.20 kids running and playing in the heat, and hoping for fresh cold water only to be met with water flowing down the valleys of the sun.
A truly unique playground. Most of the play structures are geared toward toddlers (2 to 5ish), but there is also a larger tree/bridge structure for older kids. Lovely views, multiple large sandbox areas, picnic tables and public restrooms. Indoor facility available for rent. No swings, in case that matters to you. We love bringing the kids here on hot summer days and then walking down the hill to get malts at Leos.My only complaints are that theyre only open seasonally (closed October thru April-ish) and on nice summer days, it gets REALLY crowded (especially weekends). Parking is either on the street or in the lot across the street, both of which often fill up.One other thing: the signs say to stay off the bear sculptures, but nobody, and I do mean nobody, complies. So dont feel bad.
Cute park! My son liked climbing on the rocks. It was a busy day, lots of families taking pictures everywhere. The bear statues are a huge hit. Wooden play structures for big and small and a sand play area in front if the natural limestone wall. There is a covered gazebo that offers shade and a very large wooden rental facility that resembles an old school that can be reserved for private events. They also use astro turf and a soft rubber like material for a lot of the ground covering. It keeps things clean and safe. There is only one entrance in and out, which makes for easy supervision. On nice days, parking can be tight so we drove around a couple times. Definitely worth the drive. Dont miss it!
Awesome peek do it the kids! Bathrooms could be better - just single rooms and lines to use them. Not great for little ones who gave to go NOW!
I loved that park, Stillwater is amazing...
We Love bringing our kids here! This was our first time with our youngest. Both kids had a great time! There is something there for all ages!! We will definitely be visiting again this summer!
This is a wonderful park. There is only one entrance and great play areas especially for those with really little ones!
This is an amazing park to take children to. Always kept clean, a little bit away from the main strip, and lots of unique-fun activities to keep all ages busy! One of my favorites.
Teddy Bear park is a hidden gem that has something for kids of all ages! Great picnic area, and comfortable bathrooms! I highly recommend this park!
Fabulous place for the little ones to run free. Enclosed. Safe surfaces. Clean.
So many cool things to do. Gated so only one way in and one way out- nice and safe. Really fun for many ages. Great structures!
Kids love this place. You can’t come to MN without stopping by. It’s like driving by Disney on free candy day. So you love your kids? Then why haven’t they seen the Teddy Bear Park?
So much fun
Small, but mighty! This playground packs in a lot of different activities in a small fenced in area. It has plenty of room for young ones to run and play - a train, a sand area, a climbing wall, and a play structure with tunnels and bridges. A covered area with benches when you need a break from playing or the sun. It has a small amphitheater for enjoyment as well. Plus teddy bears. Great enclosed park for younger ones. Not as much for the bigger kids, but they still had plenty of fun.
Nice park for kids, loved all the climbing walls and the different types of playgrounds offered for the different ages
Best place for kids
Small but cute.
Amazing place for children
Excellent playground for families!
Like maybe two bears and I would describe this place to be the size of a shoe box. Its literally shoved up in a corner. Probably great for the people who live near it to bring your children. If you are visiting Stillwater dont waste your time visiting this spot. Nothing interesting to look at and no fun photo opportunities with lots of children everywhere in this tiny place.
Very cute park for kids. The hill it’s located on is pretty steep and can see it being potentially dangerous during winter months. Overall a really cute park layout and theme
Great little park for kids. So cute.
