Fun little place. It has a well maintained jogging/walking track around the lake. Can spend hours if you find a good spot to sit down.

This is my go to spot in town. We love roller blading and my son takes his bike. Always a lovely ride :)

My family and i love this lake. We walk it almost daily. Beautiful scenery and beautiful pathways. Big park and big splash pad are just bonuses. I recommend this park to everyone who wants to get away.

What a nice park, 5k track around the lake with jetties with a path make it a nice site to just relax and watch. Morning sunrises offer a great Vista.

A beautiful park with great paved walking paths in Stillwater! Gorgeous views of the lake and plenty of seating as well. A great park for all fitness levels. Whether you park (plenty of parking too) and enjoy a short walk or plan to adventure a few miles, Boomer Park has something for everyone. Many people had hammocks up among the trees relaxing and taking in the beautiful day! There is also a great little stand set up that rents out canoes and other equipment! A lake once used to provide drinking water to the town. Now that it is no longer used for this purpose the city has utilized such a nice area by turning it into a park!

Fun place for the kids and fur babies. I love going out here at night when its quite and peaceful just looking at the stars. Soft music just enjoying nature.

Boomer Lake Park is a rare gem in Stillwater. Could use some vendors, and possibly some entertainment... maybe we could encourage local artists to play for tips or something? Wear your rainboots, though - lots of goose and dog poop.

Husband kids and I love walking the park to Pokémon and even fish! Great atmosphere just wish the city did a better job maintaining it

If you want to spend a couple of hours in peace, it should be your go-to place in Stillwater.

Boomer Lake is DEEP!! We didnt go swimming voluntarily, but capsized our new canoe on her first outing! Note to self: beaver person goes in back! Otherwise, capsized!! Lol. Easy to dock and load and unload our canoes. The edges are slimy but hey, its a lake! Great place!

Great place to have a birthday party. Plus you have the water pad for the kiddos to have some fun.

Reminds me of LSU lake, though it is smaller than LSU lake... I like the night view of the lake, very refreshing... You can walk around the lake...

Decently nice public park. The trail around the lake could use better lighting for night time runs and walks. The disc golf course is decent. Not the best, but its still a fun afternoon. Fishing is okay at best. Small catfish and small crappie. The occasional largemouth. Id recommend a kayak if you really want to fish.

I have been going to Boomer since I was very young, and it is excellent for walking, running, and biking. Amazing place to take your kids!

This is the best place to be when in Stillwater. Very scenic landscape with lots of people in the vicinity taking the feel of good climate and atmosphere. Lovely trek of 4 miles.

Awesome place to ride bikes and walk around the lake! Theres also a park for little kids. Restrooms and water bottle fill stations available. BEAUTIFUL!!!

Love taking my kayaks out on this lake. The fishing is ok but there is a lot of tree limbs. They have new playground equipment, a splash pad and amazing walking trails. Definitely a must if you want to get outdoors, especially if you bring the kids.( mine always have a blast)

Beautiful, serene park... As hot as it is during the summer this park always seems to be just a touch cooler. The air feels a bit lighter and the breeze off of the lake a tad more refreshing than the hot breeze in other areas of town. One road has the park set up ... Clean and plenty of shade... Down another road, the main entrance is the splash pad. Theres a nice walking path around the lake and Frisbee golf as well as kayaks for rent and decks for fishing. My kids love it here...

Beautiful lake thats always great to walk around. Fishing is fun here and there is plenty of wildlife around. Its usually not too busy but its always worth the trip.

Boomer lake is a great place for nice walks and family fun. But what concerns me is the droppings all over the walk ways.

A fun clean large place for outdoor entertaining. Nice walking path. Good size lake for fishing fun. Small boats canoeing and kayaking. Playground for kids and a splash pad. Enjoy some outdoor activities here for sure.

My favorite outdoor run spot in Stillwater. Approximately 1 lap is 3 miles, so it makes a great spot to train for a 3k with slight terrain changes for extra challenge.

Great place to watch sunsets and sunrises . Walk the paved trail over 3 miles. Great splash pad, frisbee gulf. They have am awesome military memorial as well. I love Boomer!

Its great. Splash pad is awesome and free to the public! Park and playgrounds, and 3 miles sidewalk to walk and ride on that goes around the lake. There is also a dock to go out on and its nice too. Just overall a great place to hangout (child or adult), throw birthday parties, or relax.

A nice park to walk and jog. There is a path that is 5k long. Canoes and fishing is possible in the lake. There are several ultimate Frisbee matches happening during the summer. Also, there is a tennis court and a splash pad.

Has been a few years since playing this course. Only reason for 4 stars out of 5 is because the signs need updated. Some are missing and some no longer show what direction the hole is. The course grounds were well taken care of, no trash laying around and it was a great course to introduce a couple kids to (ages 7 and 11). Will definitly be back.

Used to come here in my early 20s and walk on almost a daily basis. Moved away for many years and had to return while in town visiting. Still beautiful!! Even has a splash pad now. :-) Great for kids.

Fun place near Stillwater. The 4th of July fireworks takes place here.

Small city lake. Great walking, jogging path. Pavilions for rent. Parks to play in, including water park. Fishing, fishing dock, can kayak or canoe. Best for last, great fourth of July fireworks. Will be crowded get there early and enjoy the evening.

Beautiful place to take a relaxing walk or jog. Saw some baby ducks today. Watched a snake swim in the pond and a turtle cross the walking path. Three mile track to get in some good steps.

A very lovely park to walk or run on. Its clean and well-maintained. A lot of open areas and places to rest and enjoy being outdoors. I came this time around because of the disc golf course and it was an interesting course with some challenging holes. It was extremely windy that day, so our group had some outrageous scores. The weather also greatly shifted cold in an instance, so we didnt care about scores in the end. We just wanted to finish the game quickly! I highly recommend coming here if youre bored and want some fresh air, or would like to throw a few discs at some challenging holes.

Love boomer lake, the walk/bike path is great, it’s not very long but it’s nice to do laps on the bike and push for faster times. The park is nice and the disc golf course is a big plus.

I love this park. Good for fishing. Nice play grounds. Bike trails. During the summer you can rent different bikes and kayaks. And the splash pad is a cool deal.
