Not a bad little park thats nearby. My friend and I have taken our kids here a couple of times now, and my only complaint would be the state of the restroom. Theres only one, rather than separate restrooms for male/females, and its not sanitary. Theres no real source of light so its very dark if the door is closed completely, the toilet was disgusting and there was no soap for handwashing. Other than that I have no issues, but if you need to go while playing there Id suggest finding one close by, or waiting until you get home, if possible.

Its a nice park with a younger kids area and an older kids area put into one playground. There is a small skate park and a creek. Overall its a fun place to go to with friends. :);)

Awesome skate park

In 96 we would bring in our hand built skateboard ramps, and chain them up to parking signs. With the, help of multiple organizations my mother Patrica McDonalds idea, & concept became a reality! We created the Triple S, Stillwater Skateboard Society, and in 97-98 donations were raised and Pats Skate park was built. I still have the original blueprint to this day! If my memory serves me, it was the 1st Skate Park in the state, the ultimate goal was to educate the community about Skateboarding. This was before X-Games, and mainstream media, and that Skateboarding in Stillwater is sport, not a crime! On behalf of The Tripe S, and the McDonald Family, Strickland Park will always have a place in our hearts, as a place too take her grandkids to honor, (as she was known as) Mom!
