Beautiful park. Yes there is a smaller creek to the south. We have urban camp site for lumber Jack days. Bare foot paths to murky bog.
This is a great Park for hiking and walking dogs. The trails cross the creek several times. As of August 2020, there is construction on the road leading to the park, so check current conditions before leaving.
You can hike, bike and ski there. Great place to walk your dog.
Our kids favorite destination on the bike ride to downtown.
Its a great trail for me I bike, I walk, its an awesome trail on a Beautiful Day
Beautiful ride into Stillwater.
We took the trail from the park at Neal Ave and rode Segways to DT Stillwater. The trail was well kept, nicely shaded, roomy and very smooth. I imagine biking and hiking the trail would be just as nice. Some fun sites along the way to help break up the trail. Good job!
It was a fun little park for my two kids. It has a chance couple of slides, climbing ropes and walls, monkey bars, swings and a few other things. Probably ideal for ages 2-6. It has a port-a-potty if need. No running water. I only did 3 stars because some of the equipment is broken, i.e. the sand digger and some plexy glass on the little kid as area.
Great walking path. A little crowded at times with joggers and bikers, so there may be some wisdom in leaving the little ones at home.
Right off gateway trail. Has lots of parking, Porta potty and playground
The trail is really nice and upkept!
The real attraction here is the adjacent Browns Creek Trail. Took Segway on the trail for a Girl Scout father/daughter event. What a great time. The trail goes into down town Stillwater going East and ends at the Gateway trail going west. I will get my bike on the trail very soon!
Awesome playgrounds. Climbing things. Small equipment for the littles. Bigger equipment for the school age kids. Swings too. And a lot of open space for running around. Plus they have 2 biffies. Always a good thing to have.
Great walking, bike riding paths.
Where to park to get to best section of Browns Creek Trail, about 1.5 K East, or turn around to do 10K from Downtown Stillwater.
Went on a segway tour and it was great! Busy with runners and bikers and people being active so I felt like we were imposing, but loved the trails and it was beautifully green!
Great running trail
This nestled in a beautiful area northeast of Stillwater MN. It is an entrance to a trail that meanders into downtown Stillwater. This is a lovely outdoor place.
Check it out if you like history.
This trail is heavily wooded and teaming with natures beauty. Family favorite.
Clean and well maintained paths. Beautiful area.
