Great place for me to take my granddaughters. Its close to my house too. Two thumbs up!

Very nice park & setting. Took our grandson their & he had a good day. Not a lot of shade, but thats fine. Still a nice park for the kids!!

Nice quiet park just wish it had a path for walking and walking my pet.

It took all summer for them to mow the grass at a height that was kid friendly a lot of homeless people using pavilion

Love the greenway trail starting at Smith Park and going to Silver Springs park

Clean . Had bathrooms . Tennis court . Frisbee golf course . Had a nice lunch with the boys on the little benches ..

Played a lot of disc golf here; though not the best maintained holes and not the safest area (frequently accosted by homeless, etc.), it is decent and gets the job done.

Had a great time sat by the stream and relaxed. Theres a basketball court and a tennis court and i saw a few frisbee golf nets. If its not at the park its probably for next door. Would recommend.

Well I guess I cant say a whole lot about it. Its the people not the park... I know people fight addiction everyday. My friends 6 year old daughter found and picked up a used syringe that was In the grass by the parking lot. Just let your kids be informed.. dont let it deter your opinions of our wonderful city parks were blessed to have in Springfield Missouri.

The Brazilian at Smith Park was very well maintains and taking care of the park was pretty we had our neighborhood block party there atoms are very enjoyable time

I rented The Pavilion. It was dirty and unsafe with a Staples that was around on the tables. Homeless people were there when we first arrived. Then a group of young people came and took half the Pavilion which we had paid for. Then, just before we left homeless people come back and was begging for Stuff. I will not go to Smith Park again.

Peaceful and safe

Its a nice park to go to just to relax, read a book, or just get away for some me time.

Nice playground, grills and pavilions with power to charge that phone it seems everyone is on instead of playing with the kiddos. But is all around a good park to visit.

I love this place I have so much fun running around with friends or just hanging out. I did get injured but that was because I was being careless and not paying attention.

I really liked the variety of activities for kids and they have bathrooms on site; however, neither the mens nor the womens bathrooms had changing tables which made changing diapers difficult.

Good place too take kids so they can play on the swings and other things there also good place for a picnic

Its always clean and my grandson loves this park because he can climb or get on just about everything there.

Easy to get to. Power outlets in the shelter for devices. Close to Evangel University, and the Boys & Girls Club.

Bathrooms, water fountains, awesome stone grills, basketball court, nice playground equipment. Generally a great park.

Lots Of Fun for the Grandson

Nice big space with a variety of activities to do. My kids enjoyed the two different playsets, the swings, and exploring in the little river. Theres also a softball field. Today a group was playing frisbee in the outfield. We could have spent all day here, if not for the heat. The bathrooms are less than adequate : Not enough ventilation. No soap or towels.Parking is through the Boys and Girls club parking lot. Lots of shade trees and unshaded picnic tables. The pavilion is a generous size with lots of seating.

Good park needs more trash cans people are throwing trash all over the ground.

Smith Park always seems well groomed and is a nice place to walk. You can hit tennis balls or shoot some hoops and even picnic.

The river that runs thru it is less than clean but after all it is just a run off from surrounding streets. But great place for disc golf or bringing the kids to play.

Great place to walk if you have a walker went there for a walk after my surgery and was happy with the results

My kids love this park. Its very big and has lots of picnic areas.

The boys and girls club uses this park as well and often times they run my 3 year old off the equipment because they are very roudy and rude! Not to mention do those kids have adult suppervision because i see people with clip bords but they are sitting and talking. Not watching the kids at play!

Tried to eat picnic dinner but difficult with drug sales going on in front of us just like no one was there. STAY AWAY DANGEROUS!!!!!

I visited here while in town on business. Looking for a place to eat lunch. There is no shade to sit under to eat.
