Very nice park filled with all kinds of open space. A nice place even if you dont get out to just take a few minutes to relax.

Loaded with garbage bicycles and grocery carts Springfield really needs to clean up their parks and take out the trash... this is supposed to be Illinois capital what a joke...

To much algican hardly fish

Its a dump.No literally; there is garbage everywhere. Discarded tires on the banks of the lake, which is a filthy pond. It doesnt even feel like a park at all, its basically the back 40 of the appartment complex. Got the you dont belong here vibe from the people there hanging out in the parking lot. Wont make that mistake again.

This poor park is in desperate need of some SERIOUS TLC! It is just a lake with a walking path around it, which could still be nice, but theres SO much trash everywhere its nearly impossible to enjoy :-( I wouldnt go unless youre leading a clean up.
