The play equipment was nostalgic shall we say and minimal but classic fun. I liked that they were wide open spaces for running and playing.However there was some pretty creepy people around the park sitting in their vehicle watching, circling the park with their cars, at one point someone started to film the playground. I dont know if it was just that particular day but it definitely did not leave a good taste in our mouth.

Felt Really safe compared to some parks. Drug dealers better beware there is a school next door and if I remember right has a stiffer penalty. Great family park. Missed the pool this year.

I just love the stone arched bridges and old, decaying stonework that litters the hillside here. The reason for four stars is because litter also litters the water and hillside and there are often homeless folks camped out or hanging out. Amazing during the day, somewhat shady at night. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset.

Spent many years going up at Fassnight park. Pool and park is well kept..Great place to have picnic lunch during pandemic with no place to eat.Only down side is prison toilets in bathrooms. Like seriously!

Lots of homeless stopped and asked me for money. I could just have a quiet walk without be accosted. One homeless started yelled at me who I declined to share my cellphone. Yikes, this use to be a safe place to take kids

Scenic and beautiful. Well maintained. The pool is filled. Only open Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is $1 admission. $3 kids, $4 adults on Saturday. No open bathroom.

Lots of tree cover. Lots of police so if you dont feel safe with out police never fear the fuzz is here

The neighbourhood is nice and the parks size is good for biking, running or dog-walking. The creek is shallow but there are shoals of small fishes and there are birds who prey on them. While it is nice to visit a sizable park beside a creek, it is not the cleanest of the parks in the city.

Beautiful park. Spacious enough you can be loud and has a basketball court and you can climb around on the rocks. Do not recommend coming here after dark as it is across from the high school and not very well lit.

This well maintained public green space is a quiet refuge to sit under one of the tall shading trees and relax. Theres a bit of a creek that quiets the mind while gazing at it from the gentle bank. This park has never been crowded when Ive visited, and Ive never been bothered by others as I sought quiet solitude. A friendly nod, a cheerful hello, and people pass on enjoying their time walking here and there in the park.

This park brings back really good memories! Just a pretty park to sit and relax. A beautiful stream runs around the outside of the park. Take the kids, they will love it!

Great place to take pictures and the pool is better than when I was a kid. Ive been playing in this park since I was a little kid and now my kids and grandkids are playing here. Im glad its still around. The kiddos love feeding the ducks in the creek.

Very beautiful old rock building and sidewalks. The creek runs through here but it is very run down and unkept. The pool looks very clean and nice. This place needs some additional upkeep for strolling as there were many alcohol bottles along the paths

Fasnight used to be a very fun park and it was a park I frequented when I was younger because of the large pool, baseball/softball fields, grills, scenery, etc! Its an old park and I find it fairly nostalgic!Some pretty savory, rough, gang types run it now. I rarely even drive by or around it at drive on the road in between Parkview, my old almammoder, and the park itself.

Very clean and will kept. The pool is great in the summer. The park is always great for a walk with friends

The people wont speak when you say hello! Drug deals going on. No... I wont go back there!!!

Love this pool!!!! Its a little farther away but its worth it because there arent as many fights as grant beach and ppl are generally more friendly and its not as crowded

Had a picnic here on the fourth, for the most part out was quiet and we had a great time grilling and talking.

Only park Ive ever been to that has a regulation Handball court open to the public, havent visited other parts of the park, although it seems very nice and quiet.

This would be good place for couples or dogs or families.

One of the older parks in Springfield. I have found needles on the ground under the play equipment. Make sure you pay close attention to your child/children. Nice park but the area has a lot of crime.

Great place to BBQ in the spring/summer time with family. It has multiple grills and benches. There’s a playground for the children and a community pool.

Ehhh it was ok i guess except 15 cops showed up and one guy got knocked out at the basketball court then they closed the pool early....and someone stole my battery out of my car lol but ya it was ok

Beautiful park. Theres lots to do, plus in the summer the pool is open. Creek that runs through the park. Great for picture taking too.No gazebos though. There are lots of picnic tables and grills.

Have been going to Fassnight Park for 37 years. First pool my son ever swam in. He was 6 weeks old. Thank you for maintaining it. Good Times

Not too good. Went there to have a nice quiet lunch hour outside under the shade of the trees. Enter 3 kids 13 or 14 years old into the basketball court screaming obsceneites at the top of their lungs along with n****r this and that while people had their little kids trying to play. Other than that perfect.

This was a nice park. Although I only saw 4 swings. And I love to swing. Very spacious park. Lots of trees. Baseball field. Swimming pool. Lots of parking. I even spoke to the Park Ranger. And he was very polite.
