Beautiful park near my home. My biggest complaint are the trails. Too many places where roots, rocks, and mud pits can ruin the trail if you arent careful. This trail needs to get fixed.

If it wasnt for Google I wouldnt have found this hidden gem. Been there multiple times on weekdays and its never busy. Its a easy walking/running trail. Well kept, clean. Ive seen some folks fishing, I highly doubt there is any fish, as it being a shallow stream. No complaints.

Nice paved section of the CCT next to Pohick stream, about a mile long. Great places to stop and play in the stream too!

Really beautiful Creek that makes you feel like you are in the mountains...certainly not in an urban areas with more traffic than God. Nice rolling terrain...not too steep and not too flat. Not overly used in our area (near 95). Fairfax County Parks have done a great job....we pay for it greatly with taxes and bonds but you wont get this kind of a trail system in a rural county. Many miles of trails to explore....I doubt anyone has done them all.

Wonderful trail. I find lots of off-the-track spots along the way. Maybe half the trail is paved. There are many ingress/egress points, easily identified using Google Maps. Needs: more benches, better signage, completion!

My best place

My first time here, I needed Google Maps to guide me to this location. I like what I saw on my short hike. A paved trail apparently goes on for many miles. You see mountains of bedrock, pressed upon the running creek water. A lot of birds, small insects, and natural foliage and trees to observe.

Great trail! Mostly paved and very nice nature. The star off is for the bad trail marking. Without Google maps it would be hard to find the way youre supposed to go.

I love this trail from end to end, I just wish it was more consistently cared for!
