Great place for a family waterpark getaway! Water park was great! Food was priced great! Go-karts were old and slow, and the other two amusement rides was not open when we went on labor day. We won free tickets so not sure if I would pay the money to come back again or not with holiday world being the same distance.

Only went to the drive in movie and it was awesome! Never been to one, and it was great! The signal sucks there though, so download your movie tickets ahead of time so youre not backing up the line trying to get your phone to load . Also if you plan to use the snack stand, download the app ahead of time. They use an app for online snack ordering so you only have to go pick it up once its ready!Very cool place.

Overall I really enjoyed this place, the price was high but overall it was amazing! They have a selection of different things to do, some of it may be closed like the Big Wheel and The Paratrooper but the water park was still open, you have to wear a mask out of the water but it was incredible and fun! A little pricey but worth it

I am not sure if I’ll be back. I hate to leave a bad review... I DO like the lazy river, the staff is great. The facilities are kinda old. The slides and attractions are cool. Biggest downfall is the wave pool.... you have to wear a float past 3 feet.... and to me that sucks! I give it 4 stars because the kids love it.

The attractions here are amazing! The only thing I see a problem with is the food price. We spent 50$ on very very simple food. Chicken sandwiches is just a dry piece of chicken between 2 buns, chicken strips were very small.. aside from that absolutely loved it

There were great water activities for all ages. It was well staffed. Employees were very kind. Reasonably priced, especially the season pass. Thanks for providing great family entertainment!

Been fun at 1/2 capacity, even with rides closed. Majority of lifeguards are on their job(makes a parent feel better) we keep a cooler in car and pick up lunch to save a few bucks/ they have picnic tables to use... Making for a nice summer.

The park overall is a great experience for you and your family, even during this pandemic!! The waterpark is great, The staff attending the water park is great!! But customer service overall is very poorly! We made reservations for a birthday party a week in advance was quoted a certain price and when we got there that price wasn’t honored (no real reason why) even though it was in the system!! Bottom line there are too many teenagers working there not enough adult staff! Everything included comes out to about $37 they need to go down on their price being honest!!! The rides I would not trust! The rust and low maintenance on these rides will make you second guess things!!! They do little to nothing accommodating people that are spending a lot of money there please do better!!!

Only found one hand sanitizing station actually filled and usable. Never saw anyone cleaning anything. Trail of spilled cheese sauce in main walkway, which i slid in, and it remained there for hours. Pretty disappointed as they are clearly not taking any cleaning precautions. I understand it is difficult, but dont say you are spacing lounge chairs, cleaning extra, distancing if you arent going to even try.

Hats off to the lifeguards, who were on point and alert at all times. I felt very safe while their. The experience itself was top notch !! loved it. Very highly recommended !!

Our family had a great time at Knights Action Park! We went on a Thursday ~ so Dads were able to get in free which was wonderful! Since the capacity was kept at 50% due to Covid-19 we didnt have to fight crowds or wait in lines for anything and that was nice too. The only complaints I have would be that the water is truly disgusting! The website states that due to Covid-19 staff is taking much more time for cleaning but obviously this doesnt mean the water. There are things floating all over in it! Other than that... I loved our time at Knights Action Park. We will definitely be back!

Always a blast! Water rides for kids of all ages. Get there early and stay till 6pm. Nice lifeguards. Has dipping dots ice cream.

Went here on a school trip and it was very poorly maintained. the ferris wheel operator clearly wasn’t paying attention because after one circle around it my friends were taken off the ride instead of the correct people who had already had their turn. the grounds were also very sketchy and it seemed like the start of a horror movie. very unkempt and dirty rides. if i could i would give 0 stars. did. not. enjoy.

Went for the golf range and had a blast since they were open late

Always thought this place was overpriced. In severely lacking in several essential things. Theres almost no shade to be had, so fair-skinned people beware. And it is exceedingly expensive, costing almost the same as a trip to Six Flags...But its hard to hate on the only game in town for water park fun. At some point in the last 30 years someone over there got the memo, and theyve now almost quadrupled the number of attractions they have.

Fun water park with several slides, wave pool, lazy river, great areas for those smaller children, and a pond with paddle boats. Others areas of the park off offer many other things as well.

We love knights, wish the new splash kingdom could monitor the slides better though. Kids are always hitting and kicking others and pushing to get down the slides. The run into everyone causing some of the smaller kids to become hurt.

Was told TWICE our daughter could ride the go karts with her dad. When it came down to it, she couldnt because she wasnt 3. Was not even offered some what of a refund for our 4 VIP bracelets & 5 tickets.

Knights Action Park is a fun place to visit. The park was pretty busy and people and staff were not adhering to social distancing which was a bit disappointing. The Devil Ray is a must ride.

Took the kids for the go carts. Really enjoyed it for the price. Many other things to do with social distancing employed!

My 6 year old loves Knights! Especially the wave pool and kids slides. Its just big enough that it has never been super crowded and there are life guards everywhere. They offer some really good deals on admission tickets thru their website which is helpful when youre paying admission for several people. Would like to see lockers placed throughout the park instead of just the entrance. Overall, we love spending our summers at Knights!

A classic place! Its relatively close to home, and not too expensive, but the slides, waves, and lazy river are just as fun as a modern park. Things are run well, nothing feels too old, and I love going!

It great and nice lifeguards treat me so well while Im deaf.

We had a BLAST! My whole family went from the ages 50+ down to 3 and 5 years old and every single of of us had an amazing time!!!!!

We did the day pass did water park all day then went minigolfing there. Also we went to the go karts. PS. They have batting cages and a driving range. Also the go karts were kind of lousy but they were still fun

This place is amazing! My only concern is the size of the park. Its not really big, meaning less rides. But the rides themselves are super fun; they can range from relaxing to intense! For people who dont wanna get wet, there is non-aquatic rides including mini golf, go-karts, archery, and more! Its a great place for any person!

Knights has a special place in my heart as my family and I have been going here every summer since I was little. Living in Oregon, it always felt so exciting to run around the park with my cousins, racing down slides and body surfing in the wave pool. Even now as an adult I find things I love, relaxing in the wave pool and asking for an extra push before going down the Devil Ray. I know that in the scheme of things this water park may not be that big, but to me, it is tradition, and it is everything!!!

Been going for years. My parents, my 3yr and 5yr old, and myself spent 7 hours there today, the kids did not want to leave. A great amusement place close to home. Some stuff dated but still in good working order to have fun. Newer water attractions that are great. Priced fairly, best deal to just get a season pass. I wish they were open later.

I have had dinner here several times before and the food and atmosphere was quite different. Its definitely turned into a much younger crowd and a much Saltier food. Its a really relaxed employee place to work, I believe the cooks had house slippers on and no gloves or hair nets for their man buns . I really think that they should remain open advertising on drink specials and maybe a few appetizers only!

This review is for the water park only. Decent facility but not worth $30 each to get in. Severely understaffed. 40 minute wait at the concession stand. I literally had to tell the girl multiple times what our order was. It was as if she was high - couldnt remember anything for more than 10 seconds. There isnt a pool that doesnt require their inflated tubes. So adults who just want to relax in the water have nothing. Went down one waterside and scraped my elbow pretty bad. Finally, if you do go, better bring sandals because the pavement is screaming hot. Burned my feet. Wont be back.

Just ordered food from the tradewinds the park was closed, horseshoes are great but the cheese sauce this time was awful runny guys, hopefully this was just a little oops..?

This place is so overpriced! the lifeguards are way too strict and care to much!

The bathhouse is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Used tampons were on most of the bathroom stall floors in the womens room, theyre incredibly slippery, and only has two working showers. Plus, the walls are covered with dead bugs and spiderwebs. My husband said theres no place to hang a towel by the showers in the mens room and the bench is on the other side of the room, and it was also covered with dead bugs and spiderwebs. We arrived as soon as the park opened and the bathroom floors were dirty, so clearly they hadnt been cleaned. Ive been to small beaches that have better restrooms/bathhouses than this! The pizzeria bathrooms were much cleaner, but unfortunately they dont have showers. Also, its very expensive, even if you go on a discount day. Also, combining the dads/grandparents day with the military discount day insures that any dad who served doesnt get a military discount because the dad discount is cheaper. The only people who would get the discounts on Thursdays would be men without children or women who served in the military. Would it hurt to do a military discount every day, or on a different day? They deserve it. The Bermuda Triangle (which has three very tall slides) only has a lifeguard at the very top slide. Green buttons light up on the middle slide to tell you when to go and theres nothing on the lowest slide to tell you when to go. They need lifeguards at every slide. The yellow and purple slides have one life guard for both. The blond male life guard was more concerned with how his hair looked than doing his job. He wasnt paying attention, kept playing with his hair, and was on his phone the whole time. Also the park says no coolers or outdoor food, but thats a joke. Numerous people had backpacks or wagons and had food and drinks stashed in them. Its also supposed to be a family friendly park with no thongs, yet several women were wearing them. My children didnt need to be exposed to that. On the upside, the lazy river was fun, and they had lifeguards spread out along the entire path. They also had plenty of tubes, so anyone who wanted to ride the river could. The lifeguards at the wave pool were excellent. They stopped the trouble makers immediately and did their jobs very well. Also, lockers are only $.50 per use, so thats reasonable. There were plenty of lounge chairs for anyone who wanted one, and no one bothered our bags that we left on the chairs.

Took the family on a weekend adventure. Knights action park was a great choice and affordable. From the water park to the go carts everyone had fun. Staff was friendly and helpful. Park was also clean and equipment was in good working order.

We love going here we just wish there were more attractions for adults. Almost everything besides the small adult pool has an exuberant amount of children. Understandably, but I just wish there were more for adults/older teens exclusively.

People were friendly. My family and I got sun burned however that is to be expected at a water park.

Busy busy place. Ive been here dozens of times over the decades. Im so glad weve had 3 generations visit and it keeps getting nicer. They keep the place clean. The water clean. Alaob most people that visit are clean and well behaved! I love seeing them build on to this place and keep it going so we have a fun place to hang with our kids for a little fun in the sun.

(Friday June 21, 2019) My fiancé and I haven’t been to knights since we were teenagers and we decided to take my baby cousin. We were having a great time enjoying the park before the storm came. We went to the wave pool before we decided to leave because we saw the storm quickly approaching. Well my baby cousin is nine and was trying to paddle back to shore in the wave pool when the waves were going hard but she had to go to the bathroom. She flipped out accidentally still in the deep and started to scare herself because waves kept going over her head and she couldn’t see. A lifeguard got to her immediately as I was trying to get to her as fast as my hugely pregnant body would let me. She calmed her down and help her until I got to her with her tube. I’ve never been more grateful to someone than that life guard. I didn’t get her name but thank you so much. Only thing I’d recommend is the rocks that are all over the park hurt really badly to step on so maybe remove the rocks and the bathroom needs to be updated it’s kinda gross. Plus there’s a broken window on one of the restaurants by the bridge which is worrying. some of the park needs repainting, repairs, and possible removal all together because it’s so old and run down. I also wish that because of the storms that we could have gotten a readmit pass for when the weather gets better and maybe heat the water a little bit more it was freezing our lips were blue after a few minutes.

Great time as usual. Highly recommend for a family day. The knight family always adds something every few years giving Back to there Customers. Hats off to them keep up the Great Work.

Had a great time. The mens room was kinda gross but I didnt go there to hang out in the bathroom. All the lifeguards, even though they were young, were very attentive, helpful and courteous.

This public amusement park has a wonderful atmosphere for children to have fun in. The body slides are so fun. It is nice that they provide lifejackets for the kids who cant swim. This a great place for a birthday, graduation, and group parties, or just a place to swim and hangout.

Please save yourself the money. I’ve lived in town for years and this place use to be nice and clean and worth it but this place was disgusting. The mini gold course it completely run down and i couldn’t tell who any management was because it seemed to be ran by 17 year olds. The jungle gym is falling apart. No supervision. What happened?! Did it run out of money or something? Please please please don’t waste your time. I’d rather spend the money and drive to saint Louis than this.

We enjoyed our day! Was very glad to see that there were lots of water activities and slides for the younger kids that were not tall enough for the adult slides. Printed our tickets online yet there was still a long line at the entrance. Probably because this was the first really nice sunny day. The womens restroom needs attention! They need to hose down the floors and there is no dry area to dress when finished swimming. The two showers had absolutely no door or curtains. The bathroom was really GROSS! Glad the concession food was affordable including the dippin dots but again, there was really long lines. Overall, a fun day!

Life guards arent hot

The wave pool was closed when I visited last. Very disappointed that’s the main reason for my visit. The guards wouldn’t let you pass this line in the wave pool that ends at 2ft without a tub ridiculous especially if there’s no waves. There should of been signage that the wave pool would of been closed because at 32 dollars a ticket this is outrageous.

This place is fun for all ages. It has many things to keep people occupied. We have visited the waterpark and enjoyed it greatly. It does get very crowded on hot weekend days, but that is what someone would expect.

Could be more affordable. It does give kids something to do in central Illinois. Fun place for an afternoon.

I came here for a Union related party and I absolutely enjoyed it. I took my family here and there were so many attractions in the water park for everyone to enjoy. I chilled on the lazy river for quite a while.

The go karts werent open. When I went in to ask if they could open them up, I saw an employee who I believe worked at the go karts shake his head no at the lady working the front desk.

This was our first visit the kids had a great time. The park is great for kids about middle school and younger. I’m sure we will visit again

Great for all ages. We had children ranging in ages from 1 yr old to 13 years. Everyone had a great time. Pizza was a really good deal for lunch.

S.O. and I went to play miniature golf. The course was almost unplayable due to rain the previous day. I would not have minded at all if we had been warned that certain holes were completely underwater before we paid to play.

What is with those stairs to the tall water slides? Those are dangerous the way the set up. One spiral staircase to accommodate 3 slides. So everyone is jam packed together. Little kids trying to slip past you almost making you fall bc there is no room to move. Otherwise, I had a great time

This water park is okay. They dont have a big selection of slides. Its fine and can be fun if you are just wanting to cool off and relax for a while. Just dont expect too much.

We took our children here when they were young. They always enjoyed it. Unfortunately its showing its age. Needs alot of updating. If you go to other parks or even a resort, they are always cleaning and maintaining the grounds. They should be cleaning the tables and chairs every day and hosing down the concrete and tubes. The restrooms are not bad. The concession stands could have some healthy options. Alot of the concrete needs replacing or repairing. Our grandchild is young and like taking her there. Just wished theyd reinvest back into the park. They charge a fair amount and should be able to do that.

Small, cute, water park. Great slides, lots of toddler friendly areas. Locker rooms need attention, but overall a nice place.

All of the kids slides were not slick! My 5 year old and 6 year old had to use their hands to push themselves down the slides. The rest of the park was great! But you could definitely tell its ran down and old.

Its really nice to have leisure activities so close to home. I particularly like the mini golf, batting cages, and go carts. However, the water park was a bust in my opinion. Perhaps for smaller children this park is a great visit, but for young adults I found this part of the park very boring. Additionally, the staff was not helpful and seemed confused as well on how to obtain a locker for our belongings. We would go back for the activities in the park, but not to the water park.

We had 2 adults & 2 kids ages 5 & 7. We all had a great time in the Water Park area. Would highly recommend.

A lot to do and the water park is fun. On the downside, it is a bit expensive and the food is not good. Signs say no outside coolers but most people bring them.Pic below is part of the hotdog we ordered. The Mountain Dew fountain soda came out warm and quickly watered down with the ice they put in.

We get season passes every year. If you go four times it usually pays off the pass.Staff is very friendly and helpful.The only thing that stinks is its crowded on super hot days.
