Easy to miss this little gem. Great place to launch kayaks. Wheelchair accessible ramps near the gulfs edge. Lots of historical markers with interesting information. Definitely worth the quick trip across the road from the boat launch side which is more popular.

Are you a paddle sports enthusiast? Wow. Abundance of natural area here to explore, have an adventure! Manatees, dolphins, birds...sandbars and sunsets. Little to no boat traffic. Be sure to check the rides, most favorable towards high tide.

Very nice, well maintained, not very crowded park. Plenty of parking places, bathroom, picnic tables. View is great, you could even spot some wildlife.

This is a nice place to watch the sunset and a nice place to go with your family. HOWEVER.. in my short time living here I have been there 3 times. The first time I saw a needle laying on the ground and the 3rd time while watching the sunset with my son people showed up and started smoking pot. The smell was very strong and evident in the air. There was another family near by with small children. Disgusting to me that you can’t even go enjoy nature and the park without someone having to come there to get high . No respect for the fact that maybe other people don’t want to smell that. I think this park needs to be monitored more for things like this.
