This is a well maintained park with a spacious playground, walking trail, and a small pond. There is a large shelter for gathering and along with a small shelter and several picnic tables.

A great little park for lunch and a walk. The highway isnt as loud as expected. Large gatherings can rent a gazebo. Cute little park for kids, too.

Clean park, restrooms, and a few shelter with BBQ grills. There is a decent playground with some walking trails and frisbee golf. I have seen on Sundays there is also a flea market in the summertime.

Trash is always full/ alot of people bring trash from home! Also there is a tremendous mole problem. We are almost embarrassed to take out of towners there!

Love this park. Its always clean. Lots of open space for kids to run around. A beautiful pond with a walking trail. Best park to take my kids to run off energy.

This park has several shelters of good size as well as a large playground area for children. However, it is not one of the disabled playgrounds as it is covered in wood chips rather than the spongy green material. There is a second smaller playground set a little ways from the main playground. For the teenagers there is an ultimate frisbee field set into the hillside of the park. My one request would be that the roads connect and there be a protection set up near the water.

Attended a party in the pavillion. Included electricity, 4 deadicated trash cans, the pavillion was clean and 15 tables. 3 tables need to go to the burn pile at the end of the summer. The pavillion is at the end of lane, small playground right beside the pavilion with rubberized tan bark and across the lane a huge play ground, disco golf and huge maintained green area. Men and womens bathroom. The womens had 4 stalls, sink and paper towel. Cleanliness was above average for a public park restroom.I would recommend this location to everyone. More private and controlled than Bacon Creek park for children. You have a 360 visual of children and the few guest of families. The only thing that I was concerned is the failure of Sioux City to provide recycling containers. New citizens do not automatically get the free recycling containers. I would think that the standard operating procedure would be to make recycling easy so citizens would recycle as part of their lifestyle.

One of the childrens favorites, they fondly reference it as the kite park it has a very good area without trees or other hazards to fly kites and a nice arrangement of playground equipment.

Its a nice park with a pond and an impressive outdoor shelter that could host groups of 50+. The large shelter is ADA accessible and has electrical power and a water hydrant. The play structures are nice and fun. They have no shade. They are surrounded by wood chips and are separated from the parking lot by 30 feet of grass. There are a few short hiking trails with good views from the top of a large hill. Great for sledding in the winter. The disc golf course is nice and well maintained. A large open flat grassy area for flying a kite or playing soccer.

I guess the park is nice, but if youre a disc golfer dont go here. Most tee signs are missing, course isnt well organized, and the sight lines are horrible.

I dont understand why the city decided to tear down this perfectly good park into a snow field. In my few visits to the park, I saw no reason for it to be stripped down. The views from above are sometimes worth the climbing, and the trails lead me to good, wooded scenery. All this serenity of woodland and wildlife, and the city decided to turn it into a snowfield.
