We were out of luck to find the church locked when we arrived, but undeterred we did capture some great pictures of the exterior. We would have enjoyed seeing the inside since we heard so much about, perhaps our next visit will be more complete.

Wonderful Catholic church! So much history. Five priests gave their lives servicing the Catholics of Shreveport during the Yellow Fever outbreak of 1873. They are commemorative in stained glass in the church. Father Price, the pastor, gladly gives tours to explain the rich history of the church.

This church leaves little to the imagination and is adorned beautifully on all sides. The mass service here is exquisite and carries all the traditional aspects of Catholicism. It is a beautiful church and an absolute treat a visit for mass or otherwise
