Decent place to sit and eat when there arent folks walking through asking for a cigarette or change. Guess timing is everything and I havent figured that time out yet.

Its fun for the whole family. Shaded by beautiful trees. Restrooms are okay. Pavilion to host parties or picnics.

I have always loved this park since I was a child. It is beautiful and spacious. Great track for strolling and big trees. Nice equipment, and new updated equipment as well. Nice place to explore, swing, or have a small birthday party.

At Columbia Park was the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival a great day of live Music, good and a great day of exchange with people who enjoy the Arts! Buddy Flett and Jimmy Wooten were just two of the entertainment today! Both of the musician listed above are local Great people and I have the privilege of calling my friends! Both are highly recommended to see in local venues! They never disappoint! Beautifully planed and everything was set up to be a wonderful day for everyone that chose to spend today with friends and music!

Bike trail is very fun. Id recommend for an hour of fun :)

Its a great quiet place to walk and have family events...

Nice grounds but most entrances were closed during normal hours. The bathrooms are condemned! Peer into one tho8gh if you want to see a toilet covered by a bloody shirt that someone pooped on anyway

We saw half dressed homeless people.

My friend had a memorial for his mom in the gazebo and it was very nice

So many times in my life, Columbia Park had served as a refuge for me. Im just glad I have the opportunity to offer a review.

A great little neighborhood park that is well maintained. The Highland Jazz and Blues Fest is held here yearly in September and on the last Friday of every month at 6:30 Bike Shreveport meets up here for the monthly social ride. A great little park in a good location. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean too.

Columbia park was a blast today. We had fun in the sun and also found a break in the shade. My kids will always make me go.

This park is nice and shaded if you want to have a picnic. There are waking trails and a dog friendly area. The only down side is the small parking lot.

Fun park that is located in an old neighborhood. Its completely different than all of the other parks because it is filled with rolling hills. It has been let go as of late and sadly it has looked better but the Highland Jazz and Blues festival is hosted here every year and thats why it earned 4 stars for me.

Great park, small, never crowded i walk here every day and the path wanders in and out of the trees over a stream through a mini marsh for exactly 3/4 of a mile. There is a play set 2 gazabos for shelter lots of just space.

This hasnt always been my favorite park. When I was a kid it didnt have much, just a few junky metal slides that would burn your bare legs in the summer and freeze to your skin in the winter. Also a swing set for babies and a really old fashioned one with a wood board for bigger kids. Even the gazebo was a wreck. But forty years later this is the place I bring my kids. Its their favorite park and thats what matters. I have to admit, I like it, too. Its got great shade and the city has done some work on the playsets, not to mention the gazebo. It still has the same swing sets (minus the wooden board) plus a new one and one of those ancient jungle gym things. And a really awesome slide/climb/spin combo that kids can play on for hours. I highly recommend it!
