My friend and I visited the duck, such a beautiful place. We really did enjoyed being there with all the well behaved ducks. Ill recommend other people that havent never been there to visit they will enjoy themselves like we did in Jesus name amen

Nice, clean, fun. No bathrooms

Such a beautiful place! The kids had a blast with many selections of slides and ect. to play on. Daddy and I got to enjoy sitting back by the pond. Had a great time.

A beautiful park to bond with your family at. Tons of cute duckies, places to fish and nutria water rats just to start. The new play equipment is safe and fun. I love taking my family here in a nice day to feed the ducks. Also next to the library is pretty convinient for the kiddos. Very spacious and an amazing park overall.

Plenty of ducks!!! Then there are the turtles, and the scenery! Great place to visit, but careful of the incline to get a closer look.

Had a day with my Grandmother, mom, uncle, and step dad with both of the kids... It was awesome only think that would have made it better is if the other 2 kids would have been there. O and maybe try sweet bread for the ducks!

The park my wife went to as a child. Small quiet when ever we visit our children enjoy it as well.

Its okay. Smells pretty gross but thats probably due to the water being so low. Playground equipment is nice.

It was a great time but stopped by no restrooms.

We love this place! We get to explore nature, see the ducks, turtles and otter, and its close to the library which allows for extra parking. I wish the bathroom was cleaner though.

One of the most relaxing, family oriented, places to unwind and take in the sights of nature. Great place for children, the park is very inviting yet safe for toddlers to veins teens and for the young at heart!

Lack of maintenance and general decay of neighborhood around duck pond has led to a general over all unwanted class of poeple hanging around park and a mainly a poor kept trashy and unsafe environment not to mention kids spreading coronavirus all over everything

Had a lovely time here and they have a kids park,so its not just for ducks/swans/birds,gators (possible gators?) Lol. But it has a park for the kids!

I love this park as it holds a special place in my heart but I wish the City of Shreveport would keep it clean it up a bit better.

Still a great place to visit. Early in the day or in the evening are best with kids because the equipment is in full sun from mid-morning through late afternoon. Beautiful bayou for my son to go exploring. Watching the turtles and the ducks can be entertaining.

Nice little park for kids. Has slides and swings. Few ducks in the pond add to the beauty of this park. There is parking space and also restrooms.

It used to be nice there, now the tables and seating areas are disgusting, the grass is knee high, the bathrooms are closed so you walk up on people pissing on the concrete and next to the play grounds.

We loved the Duck Pond! My cousin was visiting from New Orleans so after Mass at St. Josephs we went to visit the ducks, herons and turtles. 3 grown ups being kids again!

Nice little recreational place for small children whose beauty and environment is emhanced by many ducks in the pond.

If you had a bad day, stop and get some bread. Feed the ducks and instantly your day is better. 10 out of 10, Ill stop to see the ducks again.

This is a great park. Locally it is referred to as the duck pond. There many ducks and several geese. Kids have a great time feeding the ducks and geese, then playing on the various age appropriate play qreas. There are places to just sit and enjoy nature and a large covered patio with multiple picnic tables.

Great park and location, but the restrooms are gross and it could use better upkeep.

Ive been coming here since i was a little one. Ive always loved it here. I would put the age for enjoying the vist between 3-11. Also if u enjoy pokemon go its a hotspot for pokemon.

A good neighborhood park with a fun playground, but SPAR could give it a little extra love. Some of the equipment has seen better days. Also the ducks are pretty sick from people feeding them white bread all the time.

Calm, quiet and relaxing. Perfect place for a quiet stroll or a day out with the kids.

Very nice park. Lot of families frequent it. Bathrooms are not clean. Be careful of bugs in the grass that bite. High socks recommended. The park is in slight disrepair such as the gazebo.

The kids love it here. They have tables for lunch, lots of swings, slides, and gyms. The ducks snd geese will walk right up to you and take the bread from your hand if youre feeding them. Theres a pond that extends the length of the park.

Grew up here and love the Nike tire souls for the turf! Great for kiddos lil knees

Absolutely amazing, make sure to bring some bread! My only complaint is all the trash around, its all over the ground and in the water. The park is also great for the kids.

Set under an overcast, my prior appearances were of a nefarious nature. So this was my very first tme actually feeding the Ducks & Geese. Go Figure! Hahaha

We live in Shreve Island area and go to the duck pond often. A+Just PLEASE watch out while driving down East Kings Hwy, 1 goose and 1 duck were ran over and now their mate will be alone for the duration of their lives; due to them mating for life and ALL! Thanks!
