North city park is a tiny spot that looks like you are entering a national forest trail. But that illusion is quickly disapated when you walk the 1/4 mile trail and end up where you started. There are no bathrooms, no picnik tables and no play ground. The undergrowth is so dense you are forced to stay on the paved pathway. My wife and I grew bored with it in less than 10 minutes. Additionally you are never out of earshot of the freeway.
Great place to walk your dog. There are also some homemade bike jumps and ramps.
Not a bad place to just take a stroll, maybe bring the little ones, or s special someone, or even just catch up with mom. Quite relaxing spot!
Well when we went behind the school the gate was open but we saw a lady idk cleaning out a classroom I think? We waved and she waved back. Anyways when we were ready to leave we went back to the gate it was chained up so we were stuck inside the back of the school Smh that lady we had to hop a fence in the middle of pouring rain.
You would never know this tiny Park was here, tucked away on a dead-end road it is a favorite spot for my dog and I to go. Well made paths leading to dirt paths in an open Forest area, this park is usually empty but always well-maintained. Despite the prime location for it I have never seen evidence of homeless camps or drug use here. Nice for a short walk into nature, tiny butt impactful I do recommend visiting if youre in the area.
Great park with fields and Forest trails, some field maintenance needed though.
Never too crowded. Always fun to walk through. This is a great place to take your dog and go run through the trees. Definitely worth checking out
Nice bit of nature here in Shoreline!
A bit noisey due to the proximity to the interstate, but a nice little woodsey spot. Not too terribly large either. No facilities on site.
I love this little city park. My dog loves walking the trails, he cant walk by without going into the park.
It was great
Cure little park to explore!
Great place! Boating. Jogging, walking and people watching! Green grass and awesome trees.
Not much to this park. It is just five acres of woods with a couple of trails. No facilities and no playground.
Currently, a Haven for Heroin usage and Distribution, and other illegal drug activity, and Homeless usage. Have just organized with Shoreline Parks to Clean and Monitor Cleanliness, and open Safety View. Also, Shoreline School District has just added a new position for Night Security of all Shoreline District Locations. This Park, and surrounding area of the Shared Old North City Elementary School, Soccer Field, and Park, have Security after Dark Daily, to reduce, and hopefully nullify, any illegal activity in this area. Local Neighborhood Block Watch, Chaired by Myself, covers Multiple Daily and Nightly Security of the Entire Area Located at the Park, Soccer Field, and School to Remove Illegal Drug, Alcohol, and Drug Distribution in the Area, and All Parties Noted have created a Full Agreement from Shoreline City Police to Provide Active Responses to Calls, from all Agencies and Neighborhood Watch Calls, to Clear Activities in the same area that are illegal or suspicious in activity. My belief is that the Neighborhood has created optimum usage of groups to make this Nice Park, Fully Useable Safely by All Neighbours and Visitors to the Park Areas Daily, without any Fear of Safe Walking, and Enjoyment of the Parks Loveliness, Great Walking Areas, and Bird Watching, and other uses People will Like...Paul Bates, 11 January, 2014, Neighborhood Watch Chair Person.
Great place for the kids
Calming
Relax amongst trees in this North City green space.
Lots of Room
Needs work, I believe due to location, its not getting much use from people that dont live in the immediate neighborhood, therefore not getting much attentions.
Soccer!
Very nice place!
