The trail is about a mile round trip, down hill going and uphill coming back. We’ve been using this park for many years and we love it. It’s great for kids! But there are spots to proceed with caution, steep cliffs, steep slippery stairs and grades. Use good shoes, a walking stick and keep pets leashed as loose pets can cause others to fall or fight with other dogs. It’s pretty secluded and if it’s not an extremely low tide or summer, there usually isn’t many folk there. It is gaining popularity and if your licensed you may get shellfish .Please remember ( pack it in, pack it out).

A great place to hike through the forest. Relax on the beach at low tide, even walk to to the island.

Nice easy hiking trails with beach access. The trail down to the beach is pretty steep, though, but there are steps.

Great experience, some over growth on trail, some pot holes on road leading to park trails, but enjoyed every moment walking the trail. We will return soon for more walking.

Its a long trail down, then back up to parking and requires a Discover Pass, so it is always secluded and I love it that way! Theyre is an easy trail or a more difficult trail depending on your capabilities! Great for family time, bit dont forget to check the tides schedule-ours a long way back up if you have to turn around at the bottom!!
