Great history. I didnt know it was here until a few weeks ago. I stopped by and took a look around. Someone is renovating the property and will really nice to see when its complete. Completed in 1880, the mill is located near the head of Flat Creek in the Byrd’s Cross Roads community. Listed on the registry of the Association for Preservation of Tennessee Antiques, the mill is an example of the flour and corn mills constructed throughout Sevier County in the nineteenth century and is one of the few remaining in Tennessee. Very cool little place it is under construction at the moment. Still very cool place.
Very unique tour. Guide was entertaining.
This place was great! My daughter and I visited on vacation. Wonderful day!
Very pretty some would say picturesque
Being reconstructed....should be amazing when finished!
Love this little part of the world... simple place, nothing exciting only the history and craftsmanship of this beautiful spot
Pretty cool place to see but it was under construction when we seen it 2 months ago.
Great little place that is a piece of history. It looks like someone is adding to the building, maybe a future museum? Otherwise the building looks to be in fairly good condition. The wheel is there along with some running water. Great place for a few pictures.
Interested.
It was nice but was closed for the fall at the time we were there.
The mill is currently being renovated.
We took some fun pictures of the kids and this historic old mill. However, they are adding a modern building to it, bigger than the original and it was difficult to get pictures without the Lowes and tyvek logos and during only the true history of the site.
Its currently under renovation.
This place is beautiful
