The bridge itself was beautiful but be careful with people driving across it and not paying attention. The local mail delivery woman nearly ran my husband and I over, in fact she sped up when she saw us trying to get out of her way.

Lovely drive from the Parkway in Gatlinburg out to this old covered bridge. We visited Bush Beans Visitor Center and Carver’s Apple Farm on the same outing. There’s so much more to this area than the tourist traps of the main highway.

Beautiful, old covered bridge that has been restored. It is a working one-lane bridge that you can drive over. Theres a nearby resident who will come and speak with you about the bridge and its history, if hes outside. He also hands out postcards! Theres room to park a couple vehicles (one before going over & one after going over). You can be on the bridge when a car goes through, but you have to be over to the side.

The craftsmanship is extraordinary! We parked near the bridge on the side of the road and walked through it. I was surprised that it was right in the middle of residential houses. The drive was far out but it was worth the view and photograph.

Theres a small drive way on the south side of the bridge to park and explore. Im a huge fan on spots like this that need to be discovered to be enjoyed. You can discover this unique bridge a short 18 minute drive North of the hustle and tourist non-sense of Pigeon Forge Parkway.

Great historic bridge. However very little parking. And vehicles come thru very fast and will run you over while trying to take a picture. People that live in surrounding area seem very tired of tourist. And give you an evil look. The bridge it self if a great piece of history.

Somewhat picturesque. There is no public parking nearby. Private property all around. There is a geocache somewhere on the bridge (I never found it) but my wife drove the car around while I searched. There was a wedding photo shoot going on so I felt in the way doing my search and cars were coming through pretty regularly. It is a one lane bridge so it was tight getting them by while I stood on support timbers on the side of the bridge.

It was really neat to experience the bridge. It was tight quarters on the bridge. We made a special trip out of our way to see the bridge. I wish there was a place to pull over and get out to see the bridge. It is in a residential area and if you get a chance there is a sign to read.

My wife and I travel the country and vidit covered bridges. While visiting the Pigeon Forge area in the spring of 2016, we did a google search of area covered bridges and discovered this covered bridge, which we absolutely love. Although we took many photos on our initial visit to the bridge, this year 2017 on 29 April our visit was like our first visit with many pictures.
