Amazing!!! I absolutely loved my experience here. You’re able to get up close and personal with so many animals. I got in the deer pen and goat pen and it was just awesome. You’re able to hold baby goats! Such a fun time and reasonably priced. If you’re in the area, definitely visit this place. We were two adults and still had a great time!

Its a fun way to burn an hour. Tickets for 3 adults (anyone aged 12+) are $13.99 — its also $2.50 for a 22oz cup of feed, which can be refilled for just over a dollar. Its a petting zoo, so the experience isnt complete unless you buy feed. There wasnt really enough animals to call it an exotic petting zoo, seeing as you can really only get in and play with the deer and goats. That being said, they do have zebras you can pet, though they didnt really seem to enjoy that once they realized we hadnt bought an apple for $.50 at the door. I personally feel as though it was a little pricey for 3 people who were paying to feed someones animals cheap feed and uncooked corn. However, we dont regret going, and it was a good way to spend a weekend. Just not something youd do more than once. The goats were really the main attraction.

This exotic animal petting zoo is the best. This is our 5th time going there and we enjoy it immensely every time. You can purchase, at a very modest price, a large cup of feed or sliced apples to feed the animals by hand and you get to keep the decorative cup as a souvenir. Their animals are extremely well taken care of and its obvious they get plenty of love and affection. When one of the baby goats started choking on a piece of grain, we notified one of the workers who immediately called it over the radio and multiple employees came to the rescue. They took the baby to a separate building and stayed with it until they were able to dislodge the grain. Afterward, they cared enough to look for us, to let us know that the baby goat is alright now. They massaged his throat until he coughed up the blockage and that he is still learning to eat grains. They also told us that the babys momma had abandoned her 4 kids and that they had to bottle feed them all and they had recently been switched to regular feed. He even knew all of the kids names. I strongly recommend that everyone go and pet all the animals. Youll be glad you did. It was a great time.

Giving the petting zoo 5 stars because it was a great experience for our 5 year old. We went on Thanksgiving weekend and we knew crowds would be heavy. Because of covid they control how many can be in the gift shop for purchasing tickets and animal food. While you wait, a nice lady tells you about the animals and gives tips on what to feed the animals and how to hold your hand with food to prevent accidental bite/pinches. If you go into the pens to feed the deer or go into the goat pen, be prepared in case you step in something, lol! You’re in their house. The pony ride was nice as you (adult) lead your child on a pony around a path. The drive to and from the petting zoo is gravel and one way.

The horseback riding was fantastic, our guide was great at feedback and teaching, and the trail was beautiful. Petting zoo was fine, it had been raining the last few days so it was extra muddy and mucky, but there isnt much more than just a normal petting zoo. They did have some cool exotic animals though.

Great experience, perfect way to spend an hour if you have toddlers. It was about $50 for two adults, a child (3-9), a toddler, (1-2), two large feed cups, and an apple for the camels. One thing I like was that they allow you to actually go into the pen with the goats and deer to feed them, something a lot of the petting zoos dont do. The walking path has a moderate incline, so strollers are recommended, rather than trying to carry a larger toddler up the hill. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and the animals all seemed healthy and energetic. The only thing I didnt like was the pathways were a mix of gravel, concrete, and mud. I feel like it would be a better experience if they added chat walkways or perhaps even rock. It would help keep things cleaner. Also maybe add a few more species? Would definitely recommend! We will be back!

I was very pleased with this little gem, it was one of the highlights of my visit to the pidgeon forge area! My family went to the smoky mountain deer farm on a Friday morning. It was fairly busy but not so much that we couldnt enjoy ourselves. My 2 year old loved seeing the animals and riding the pony once she warmed up to it.If there was one thing that stood out about this place, it was the employees attitudes. Every single person we spoke to was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which goes a long way. The lady at the counter was very happy to explain to us the rules with feeding the animals and the gentleman named Jinx at the pony rides was absolutely outstanding. He was very patient with my daughter getting warmed up to the pony (her name was Gypsy) and never made us feel rushed throughout the entire process. He even told us that if she didnt get to do the ride they would happily give us a full refund. That sort of business practice goes a long way and it was very appreciated even though we were able to successfully go on the ride.Even the folks cleaning and maintaining the stalls were eager to talk to us rather than silently working in the background. If youre in the area, definitely give this place a shot, youll be glad you did.

We took our boys, ages 2 and 5 here so they could feed different animals. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The lady giving the instructions on feeding the animals at the door was great! You could tell she really has a love for these animals. There are kangaroos, deer, camels, zebras, goats, llamas, and much more. We were able to go in the pen with the deer and goats. We were also able to hold the baby goats. A great, inexpensive way to have fun outdoors.

Loved holding the baby goats. Staff was very friendly and informative. Nice little place with a fun interactive experience with goats and deer. A little concerned with the weight of the largest horse and the kangaroos. They appear malnourished. I know next to nothing about bulls, but one had a very large spread of horns that kept almost getting stuck in the wired fence. It didnt seem appropriate room for a bull with that horn spread but I do think that they also have pasture space for them to roam.Would love to see paper towels and hand sanitizer at the entrance/exit of each pen. Loved that they had the option to buy fruit as well as the typical seed and corn mixture.

This place has a lot of animals that the kids will love. This place is a great family friendly activity. This place is off the beaten path and Google maps did a fantastic job of getting us right to where we need to be. They also have plenty of signs to help as well. The price for two adults one 6-year-old and a 2-year-old and a few snacks for the animals was $47. I thought it was kind of expensive, but it is definitely an experience the kids loved it. They do offer pony rides but I thought $9 was a little steep. When we went it was in the mid 90s and they didnt have any drinks which was disappointing. They do however allow you to leave and come back as often as you want which is very nice.! This is definitely a spot to add on your trip!

Great views, great prices, awesome staff! Didnt expect so many experiences to be sold out during our weekend but when I called this place for a horseback ride they worked hard to fit us in. When we missed our time because of GPS problems they were awesome about finding us a new time. The guide was super nice and it was a perfectly relaxing, fun ride. To top things off it was nice to find out they use rescue horses. Would totally go again.

Very friendly staff, somewhat small but you can easily spend a good amount of time at each animals habitat. I feel that it was a tad overpriced for the size, if pony rides were included I would have no qualms. Be sure to bring a change of shoes and clothes if you are going anywhere afterwards, some enclosures can get muddy and the animals may jump on you or bite your shirt (in a friendly playful way). The goats and the deer are definitely the main stars of the place. The camels are quite friendly and easy to feed.

The animals are well taken care of and the lady that gave us instructions before letting us enter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The next time we go we will bring a change of clothes so we can hold the baby goats and wipe the slobber off our hands on our clothes like I use to do when I was young and feeding them out of my hands. Then we can wash up, change our clothes and go out to eat. My grandson told me on the way home he has waited for over 13 years to be able to come here. Thank you so much for this adventure!
