The Odyssey Escape Game is such a unique experience! My sister and I played the Jack the Ripper escape room and we loved it. It was a fun game and we like how it wasnt similar to other escape rooms weve done. The whole room was really well put together; there was a lot of papers with information but it was organized perfectly. Charles was amazing and gave us tips here and there (a bit more than I want to admit!) to help us with the little details we missed. Charles did a fantastic job and we appreciated that he let us start early, moved our date after I was quarantined, took a long time to explain the experience, and thoroughly briefed us. He did a great job and we will be back for more rooms at this location!

I took my little sister here and we had a great time! The facility was very clean, the staff was welcoming and gave us very clear explanations. We play Jack the Ripper and had a blast trying to figure out the game. The rooms were amazing and well put together. We will definitely be back for another game!

Very well done Escape Room. From the moment you walk inside Odyssey you can tell the place would be clean and very well run. We did the Titanic Escape Room theme. Very cool. The rooms were very detailed and at times, felt like I was actually on the ship. The puzzles were tough but not impossible. Clues were given and everyone has a chance at escaping. I would highly recommend coming to Odyssey and trying any of their rooms. We will be back!!!!!

Second room we did and it was just as good as the first. Cant wait to go again.

Titanic was the best. We had 8 people in our family and everyone was working on a different puzzle. Each clue built on each other as we tried to prepare the ship to be rescued before sinking. We did finally escape with 5 minutes to spare! Great fun!! Highly recommend.

The theme was highly immersive and the technology was some of the best I’ve seen in an escape room. There are some twists and turns throughout the game. There are a lot of cool props. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the game. Will definitely be returning to play additional games!

It was a great experience! We did two rooms. Each room was very different. I love that it’s not just about getting out. There is a story line and you are actually trying to figure out who the killer is and who framed you. It wasn’t just locks and keys, so it made it a lot more fun.

I am a veteran escape room player. This was a fantastic experience, among some of my favorites for sure. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are really cool! Definitely going back! (3 people, 3 hints, 2 min 38 sec left on clock!)

We had the prison escape room. A smaller room, good for 6 people. Had some unexpected things for a cell. Beautiful facility, lead than a year old. Located behind the mall. Everyone was very friendly. Met the owner, super nice guy. He is really into the escape room gig. He knows the history, and competition.The rooms show it. There is a lower tech Jack the Ripper to a Towering Inferno tech out. We got a 30 second sneak peek at the Titanic room. Serious con was dropped just in the starting room. Its huge to. Easy 10 person room. Looking forward to going back. Missed getting out by like 10 seconds. Well worth it.

We did the Jack The ripper in a party of 2, and won with 2 minutes to spare. It was a great room with plenty of thinking outside the box as a detective. We used all four of our clues and the staff was good with their clues as well! Would go again for the other rooms!

Well made escape room -- we had a ton of fun and our relationship was better because of it :) The puzzles were challenging yet exciting. The feeling of the room wasnt too creepy, yet eerie/mysterious. Definitely felt great. If the purpose was to overload us with information, then it was successful -- I think it was incredibly difficult for us to get the right direction. Overall, well done!

We did the Titanic Escape Room. I have done over a dozen rooms over a few different companies. Odyssey is one of the cleanest and well kept I have experienced. Great staff! Fantastic rooms, props, with a good variety of puzzles that are engaging and fun. Atmosphere was set well and if you couldnt tell by now, we had a blast!We are coming back for sure!

We did both the Towering Inferno and the Titanic room. We have done many escape rooms and we found these unique and enjoyable.

My wife and I along with our 3 teenage kids played the prison break room. The rooms were pretty realistic and made to feel like you were actually in prison. We escaped with a little under 5 minutes to go. Staff was courteous and helpful. It was an awesome experience. We had a lot of fun and will definitely return to try another room.

Great place for a work event or hanging out with a group of friends! There were four different rooms at least and each one was challenging! They also allow people that arent participating to watch from another room on displays. They get a live view from inside the different escape rooms.

We had a great experience! My girlfriend and I have just started doing these, and this was our third place we tried. We did the Jack The Ripper, and we solved it! There was really different from the other couple of rooms weve done. It had more of an actual storyline to it, which made it much more fun. There was A LOT of information to go through in the puzzle, but I think we both almost preferred it that way.Charles was great, and very knowledgeable about all the rooms, and why Odyssey rooms were different from the rest. He even gave us a small peak at the Titanic room, which looks like it would be a lot of fun.Either with other people, or by ourselves, well definitely be back soon!

Amazing experience! We’ve done A LOT of escape rooms, and we can tell these guys have gone all out to provide the best experience possible! Everything was very high end, and the room was very well thought out (we did the Jack The Ripper room). Very challenging, but very fun! We can’t wait to come back and try the other rooms!

My husband and I did your Jack The Ripper room yesterday. It was extremely challenging and entertaining. The girl that set us up was very informative, and also helpful during the experience. It was our first time doing an escape room, but we definitely plan on returning!

We had never done an Escape Room before but heard that it was a lot of fun. We booked the Titanic Room and we were able to escape with no time to spare! The staff was very friendly and explained how everything worked. We had a blast and can’t wait to try another room!

This escape room was super fun! It was challenging, but not too challenging that we got frustrated. They offer hints if you need them, as often as you like. Instructions were clear and the rooms were very nice with cool decor. We did the Titanic room and will definitely be back to try the others!

I have done other escape rooms but this was the best. They were very accommodating. They were really helpful and kind. The clues were great. They were really generous along the way. There was a lot of keys, letters, and numbers to be confused on. The experience was one to remember. It was interesting to the point you were actually there. It was a great memorable night that we got to take pictures with the life vests, life preservers, and the captains uniform. The titanic was amazing!

Found this place on google because it was the closest to the mall we were at and it did not disappoint! Rooms were very thought out and planned we did inferno the first night and the game master was very helpful and we were able to escape. The girls like it so much that we came back the next day and did Jack the Ripper although we weren’t able to escape in time we all had a blast! I’ve done close to 100 escape games thus far and I really like how clean well maintained and fun these rooms were! The owner personally talked me through booking over the phone and even told my daughter happy birthday from him and gave us a discount! When we are in the area next we will be back to take on the other rooms! Thanks so much!!

We did The Prison Break and escaped with less than a minute to spare. It was challenging, exciting, nail-biting fun, and we’ll definitely come back for another room. It was easy to book online and in a good location.

Odysseys escape rooms are very well done. The stories are immersive- the puzzles are fun while still making sense for the scene. They do an amazing job with knowing their history behind their stories and rooms. We did the Titanic room and Jack the ripper.Titantic room- the puzzles in this room were amazing and very fun to figure out. I dont want to give away anything so I wont. The sound track and lighting were spot on. The journals they give you are very helpful. The hints are well stated- they give nudges without revealing everything. Escaping felt like you were getting off of the RMS Titanic, and we learned some new things along the way- you wont see Rose or Jack in this story.Jack the ripper- the staff warns you of this ahead of time, but this is not so much as an escape room as it is a murder mystery/investigation. The scene was very historic. You need to take your time and be organized for this room. The sound for the room in general is a touch loud- it can make important parts of the investigation be hard to hear. Beyond that, this room is very fun for a group who communicates well and is always looking for the finer details. I do not recommend wearing heels or a dress in this room, be ready to move around.All in all, we really enjoyed Odysseys escape rooms. The staff was helpful and very polite while providing good feedback/insight into their rooms. The front area is very comfortable and fits a large amount of people. The location is within an office building, but if you look for the blue youll find the correct suite. We are excited to come back and try their other rooms. Well be back soon!

Super fun escape room. Weve done escape rooms all over and in other states and this one was fantastic. Unique puzzles, great themes, and super fun hosts. We originally went in to do just the prison break room, but we had so much fun we stayed to do the Titanic one too. Were already planning on coming back to do the others!

Had a lot of fun in the Titanic and Ripper rooms. Neatly thought out and challenging. Titanic is great for beginners and experienced escape artists. Ripper may be a little challenging for the less limber.

We had the best time here. All of the rooms are intricately designed. By far, the most well-constructed, detailed and fun rooms we have done. The owners and staff are extremely nice and welcoming. We had an awesome time playing here at Odyssey escape rooms! The Manager and the staff for both kind and amazing/helpful and just overall fun to interact with.The rooms are puzzle and thought orientated, with several cool and interesting special effects. Our favorites were the Prison escape in the Jack the Ripper room, but we have completed all four rooms successfully.Great place for a night out would definitely recommend to anybody within the area to come and try these different rooms, especially if you enjoy escape rooms or puzzles or mysteries in general, you will not be disappointed!

It was my first escape game experience after hearing so many great things and Odyssey definitely did not disappoint! Great staff and Great fun!... And we made it out just barely with a minute 26 secs to spare... :-)

We went with 4 people and first did the Titanic room and had a great time! They offered us a deal to come back later that same day so we went back and did the Jail Break room. We had an amazing time - the story was engaging and the staff was friendly and helpful. The experience in the rooms was very realistic and made for an even better experience.

We did the Walk the Mile room and it was very challenging, super engaging, lots of fun and we escaped with just 7 minutes left! Loved it and cant wait to go back and try the Jack the Ripper room next!

Our first escape room experience. Michael was a great host. We had a blast and I think our young kids bought us a few extra hints ;) we will definitely be doing this again. Very challenging and family friendly. You’ll have to pay very close attention to every detail.

Owner knew my name as soon as I walked in, and knew that we had done another escape room here before! Our game master was very helpful and nudged us in the right direction when we were a little stuck without using up our clues. Great customer service and an awesome experience! We’ve done two of their rooms and will definitely be coming back to do the other two :)

Odyssey is awesome!!! Enjoyed all four rooms, prison break is my favorite. Jack the Ripper was the most challenging and chilling design. Titanic was the most spacious. Towering inferno was the most technological and futuristic. Staff was helpful and accommodating. The building was well located and clean. Super cool place and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Came here for a birthday celebration with my family and chose the Jack the Ripper room. Great experience, lots of fun, and a wonderful bonding experience for all of us! The staff was friendly and explained the rules/room throughly. We were able to escape in the nick of time and had a blast! Highly recommend for any outing.

High end establishment. Quality service, extremely professional. We did all 4 rooms in one day, placed top 5 in two. Irish Rules (Team name)!! We enjoyed and completed all 4 rooms, high quality, detailed rooms, and great themes. I would say titanic and prison were our favorites, locks and cool mechanical features. Ripper is challenging, but if you ever wanted to be a detective in the 1800s, this will satisfy that itch. 5 star rooms, lobby, game masters, and personal. If you pick another establishment you are truly doing yourself a disservice.

This was a top notch escape room experience. The facility was classy and bright and would make a great choice for corporate events, a couples date night or a family birthday party. We played Jack the RIpper back in March 2019. Great room. Unlike any other escape room Ive been to. This was more like a non-linear murder mystery instead of your typical get a clue to unlock the next lock room. It was very different and very fun to play. The owner took some extra time with us and you can tell that he absolutely love creating fun experiences for players. I will definitely play another game at Odyssey next time Im up in Illinois. Great job!

We had a great time today. Our family played two rooms (Towering Inferno and the Titanic) - the staff was friendly and accommodating, offering us water and increasing the temperature of the second room after they noticed we were cold. The rooms were well crafted, unique, and had enough for a team of six with two children. We highly recommend Odyssey Escape Games!

I understand why Odysseys Georgia location made the top ten list of best escape rooms in the world. Schaumburg has the same rooms and earns their share of that claim. I have already done two rooms (Towering Inferno and Jack the Ripper). I did not like Jack the Ripper but I blame that more on it being a tough room, it being late in the day, and I was one of only two people in the room. Towering Inferno was exceptional. Odyssey is obviously trying to hit the immersion mark on the escape room to do list, but its tough to do when you are taking real people and possibly putting them into a situation they purposefully avoid in real life. For example, I am not mechanical and would not be an engineer in real life but you play one in Inferno. They give you the knowledge and instructions you need in the game to act the part and they successfully immerse you into your role and into the warm and smoky Inferno. Well done! I look forward to returning to the area and playing your other rooms!

We did this room for our department head outing and we all had a great time. The room we did was Titanic, and even though it was their easiest room, it was still very challenging. I loved that the room was more than one room. It was decorated nicely, and the clues were very clever. I will personally be back to try some of the other rooms. Nicely done Odyssey!

This was a great room and a great time! The theme, the people, and the puzzles were challenging but good. Besides an accidental error on our part, everything went smoothly. The facility is clean and well set up. If I had to come up with a critique I would say maybe ask participants if they want help without asking for a clue! I didn’t mind but I know some competitive people who might! Thanks for a great mother’s day!

This is by far the best escape room experience I’ve had. They have very unique and challenging puzzles and games. The first one we did was Jack the Ripper which was the hardest one. Based on the real life serial killer. If you love mystery’s I would recommend this. The second one we tried was tower inferno, very hands on has creative puzzles and hidden objects you unlock very fun. I’m excited to try more!!

We hosted an 11 year old birthday party there.. We did the Titanic room and they worked so well together that they were able to escape! Thank you so much for the hospitality! The conference room we were able to use after the party for cake and gifts was perfect! Would highly recommend!

This place is absolutely amazing!! Michael and Katie were amazing and hospitable to our group. Katie was an amazing game master and gave wonderful clues. We played Towering Inferno, Jack the Ripper and Prison Break. All amazing games with great sets and all the puzzles flowed really well. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Definitely will go back for their Titanic game!

We did the Jack the Ripper. Man it is hard, we did not solve the puzzle, but it is a very interesting game. We had a lot of fun. This is mainly to solve the crime, you need to pay attention to details. It was very challenging for two of us. It would be better if we had two more people. But they gave us 5 more minutes which helped us to solve another clue. Odyssey was the fourth escape facilities we have played and so far it is the best in terms of staff, space, and story settings.

We did the inferno escape room and loved the multiple rooms aspect. This was a unique experience and we really all had to work in multiple teams to get to the end. The staff was great and the building was very nice! Our finishing time was the quickest so we were thrilled to get on the leader board, go Blues Clues! We’ll be back for more rooms! - Cara T.

I did not get the names of the employees who helped us but they were all very hospitable and explained the unique concept of Jack the Ripper. The hint that we heard constantly was stay organized which helped us tremendously during the game. While we were not successful in solving the mystery, my group had a great time nonetheless. It would be nice to see more escape rooms of that style in the future.
