The Poeh Cultural Center was much more elaborate in its presentation than I had expected. The displays were both informative, and well presented. The art collection was a nice addition to the historical and cultural aspects of the center. Taken all-in-all, the Poeh Center is one of the better small or mid-sized museums I have seen in NM. I plan to visit once the returned pieces from Washington are fully presented.

I’m a little late with this review but I loved visiting this place. I remember the guy at the desk was soo kind to me. They were about to close but he let me in last minute and still took the time to explain everything to me. Cute little gift shop inside and would love to return someday.

You will be amazed by the inside walk thru an adobe built for displaying the history of the Poeh. Be sure to get the instructional paper b4 you walk thru...for itll enrich your experience. The shopkeeper, Edward, was very generous with his history and future happenings at this site. Be sure to visit the artists studio...she is truly gifted.

Happened upon this beautiful center by chance, and SO glad we did. If you appreciate Native culture and art, this place and its native curators will touch your heart. We met Polly, who is an artist herself, and who is also related to two of the other featured artists. Amazing, gorgeous work. So enriched by this experience. So much gratitude!

So interesting. We probably need more time here I will definitely visit again in the future when we get to New Mexico again. If youre local and have never seen it you must put this on your to-do list. If youre planning a trip and youve never been here it is worth all the time you spend here.

This museum and cultural center is incredibly unique and a must-see for visitors to Santa Fe and the surrounding area. As an archaeologist, I found the deeply insightful Native perspective of this museum to be a powerful reminder that there are other kinds of history that enrich our understanding of the past - and present. The ceramics returned from the Smithsonian are stunning, and the walk-through diorama exhibit just has to be experienced. Visit this place - it is well worth your time.

This museum was a real treat to visit! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits, and the staff was SO friendly! The artwork was extremely engaging, and we liked being able to walk to different areas to explore, like the courtyard where sculptures were in progress. I purchased a small marble sculpture for sale, and everyone who sees it comments on how incredible it is. Our only regret is that we dont live in the area to attend their classes and workshops.
