Ive just used the park with my toddlers. It is enclosed and had sun shades and benches. Good variety of playground equipment, easy parking lot access, drinking fountain and a green area to run outside of the playground.

Heres where I throw the ball for Little Bit when its too hot at Frank Ortiz Dog Park. Way less people; and grassy shade. Laid back and lovely.

Pretty at times, great location. But be warned: DRUG PARAPHERNALIA and discarded needles are in the river and all over. It can get trashy. Many homeless are camped along the river and roam the area.

Great park for minor league sports; otherwise, not much to offer. Good access to Santa Fe River trail.

This park has two ball fields with artificial turf plus five tennis courts. The courts are in good shape. The park also has paved walking trails and an outdoor swimming pool. There are porta-johns on site and parking for about three dozen vehicles. Numerous shade trees are also on the site.

No porta-potty at a playground? Fenced is nice but the gates dont have spring-return? Would be a nice touch to a fairly decent playground. My sons and i still like it though, they just pee in the corners.

Nice park. Too many people are not picking up after their dogs. Also, some owners should keep dog on leash if it has vicious tendencies.
