Commanding views of the City Different (ya think that may be why they put the fort here ) and lots of important history to discover. Would be even better with a bit less litter.
Fun park with plenty of grass for your dog to run around. There is a specific dog park close by.
Great place for dog walks. And a small area for dogs to play in an enclosed area. Very close to downtown.
A really great park. Playground area is for toddlers and up. Huge grass area big enough to put up a volley ball net and still be out of the way. Central picnic area by playground area. Parking area limited.
At the zozobra and theres alot of ppl! Parking is very hard to find at these events. Theres music and food and lots of protection. Family oriented and the atmosphere is festive. Also thers ppl spinning fire balls and it looks amazing. Theres fireworks at the burning and at the end and it looks amazing also it was a fun night with the family.
I played in the majors baseball little league at this field back in 1980... The Seargents baseball club... I hit 9 homers in this field... great times.
Zozobra- 1970 style santa fe
Giant park with green grass. Perfect park to do a variety of activities such as baseball, frisbee, walking, jogging, running, yoga, tai chi, walk your dog(please pick up your dogs waste!)
I come pretty much every year to see the burning of Zozobra at this park. For the most part, it has been great. The strange themes from some of the previous years are my only gripes. Otherwise, it is truly something that everybody should see at least once!! As for the park, it is is well kept and a great place to spend time at.
I love this place Ive been coming here since I was 19 years old!! All the people that work at fort Marcys are super sweet and cool!
Fun parknlocated in old town/ downtown Santa Fe. Its in an interesting location on the north side of the city, at the bottom of the mountains on the path to Hyde Park. Zozobra is burned at this park once a year.
I love this park, very sweet to walk through, and theres a few Pokestops and gyms for those who play Pokemon Go.
Nice and beautiful I like this place
Stopped at the recycling center here to drop off glass--super easy to access, but be careful of broken glass around the bins
Great festivities, well organized family event during the late morning. More adult like after dark!!
One of my favorite parks to go chill at. The park is quite big and they have a fitness center and swimming pool there as well as a baseball diamond. They also have an awesome walking trail and beautiful scenery.
Awesome park in santa fe to enjoy an afternoon or kill some time. Big grass fields that are well maintained. The park contains a big baseball field and a nice track to run around. There is a gym at the location that is very nice and well maintained. Overall a great place with a lot of things to do.
We came for zozobra 2019. The event was great. Sound system and people manning it were iffy, and I feel the layout of the event could have been done better, but the actual burning sad fanatic.
This is the easiest place for a run with the puppy...grass is lush now with the monsoons...easy access from downtown and parking is plentiful.
Theres just a lot of people here. I am sure its nice when its not so busy.
Zozobra was outstanding. Geeat time!!
Very crowded for zozobra, dropped the ball with returning shuttle service
Most Beautiful park in Santa Fe. Filled with trees everywhere with plenty of space and shade.
Burning of Zozobra is a fun, loud, family event. Great fireworks show, too!
Pretty park. Be careful crossing the street within the park though. Despite the very obvious signs that its pedestrian crossing, Ive almost been hit multiple times. Also, dog walkers use those retractable leashes and dont pay attention, so heads up or you might get tripped.
Great for BIG EVENTS. Burn him Burn him. Where over 50,000 people go to burn there blooms away with OLD MAN GLOOM
So peaceful and yet busy at the same time. I love it.
I love to bring my kids to play here, it’s a really nice park and the grass is really nice.
Been the same for 30 yrs. Lock your car
Zozobra burns here nice park
Modest, but has everything you might want: green grass, playground, pool, macines, parcours, tennis and a vaseball stadium.
The best Zobra ever!
Lovely large park with trees and room to roam. My daughter absolutely loves this park
First time zozobra and it was amazing, felt so lifting
Fort Mary is a very green pretty park with plenty of space to walk your dog. Its convenient, too, that theres a recycling center here as I can knock off two birds with one stone.
Baseball field hosts special events nice place to walk pets
Absolutely fantastic park with lots if activities and facilities
Only thing that bugged me was inconsistent purse rule. William had to trek 10 blocks to take my small purse back. It wasnt allowed, but others were let in. Not nice.
Great ball park memories
I saw zobra it so nice
I saw zobra it so nice
I saw zobra was so nice
Zozobra is fun for both tourists and locals
Beautiful panoramic view on the city
I know allot of people go to Fort Marcy park to see zozobra burn. And I know you try your best, I understand this. But I think better organization can be done. It rained and we all got soaked, and then the wind didnt help any, it made it cold. I think you should have a certain line for handicap and disabled with their caregivers. My caregiver and I got soaked. But we made the best of it. Maybe on cold rainy/snowy days like yesterday. You should have hot chocolate. And ONLY on those days. Anyway Id like to go again next year. Im going to try and talk my caregiver into going. But after last nights fiasco I dont know. But I really will try cuz I really like going to it. I look forward to it every year.
Great just for walking or cycling. Dog owners are generally respectful in keeping their pets on a leash. Generally clean.
Its a tradition for my son and I. Viva la familia.
From the baseball games and the impromptu kickball evenings weve thrown...to Zozobra and the many concerts and events they have here, I love this park! Near the Fort Marcy Complex there is a playground perfect for little ones to safely play on, a mini golf putting course and a track with some well kept outdoor workout contraptions...its the perfect place weve had picnics at, played some volleyball or soccer and just had some good old family fun.
Had a great time with the family!
Fuego game was awesome!! 33-6
Very nice park. Our dogs really enjoyed the grass since there is so little in Santa Fe. Nice playground for the kids also.
When Zozobra is there. Its the greatest park. Awsome time
Nice Park, lots of good grass
Fun place baseball park.
Very popular park, lots of grassy open space for kite flying and tag.

Great place for walking your dogs. Enclosed area for small dogs.

Home of the Pecis League Santa Fe, Fuego
Zozobra good time
When Zozobra burn this park is the best place in New Mexico!
Zozobra. Need I say more?
This is a wonderful local park but its ruined by the city putting the glass recycling bins in the parking lot near the playground--everyone has to listen to smashing glass every minute of the day.
Free entertainment in the summertime go Fuego baseball is amazing a great place to bring your family friends support our local baseball team and enjoy summer
Nice place for fun.
Clean park with healthy grass and a great playground!
I definitely a baseball field only time I ever go there as for Zozobra so I guess other than that its a very nice baseball field
It is a little league field shouldnt even be used as college field much less professional ball
Fort Marcy park is one of the older parks in Santa Fe New Mexico. It consists of a large open field for soccer games etc, a community center with a gym, a pool, weight room etc. And a baseball field built by the CCC or WPA pre WWII. The baseball field hosts games of the Santa Fe Fuego (fire) baseball team in June and July. The team plays other members of the Pecos independent league. And every September the field is the site of the burning of old man gloom. Zozobra. The tourist season is over and the locals gather to burn a 40+ foot high figure. The event can see crowds greater than 25,000.
Very nice & spacious. The grounds are well kept & the grass is lovely.
Great placeLove to walk my dog here
The Zazobras was awesome! Great park to go to.
Nice park. Lots of space. Baseball field, workout equipment and playground. Really only come here for Zozobra.
Was here for my first Burning of Zozobra festival. The park was packed, but the crowd was friendly, there was no litter, and a very visible police presence. The stage was easily seen from the entire field and there were large screens set up as well. My only grumble was the bottleneck created as all 40k+ people tried to leave thru the same exit.
Fantasmal place to see a ball game
Awesome Park they Zozobra over there
Its so beautiful and well kept, great place for wki g dogs.
Good for walking and exercising
Amazing zozobra
Zozobra in Santa Fe, New Mexico
Went for zozobra. The place is not designed well for viewing for the size of the crowd that comes to this event. Thousands of people could not see anything below the waist of burning man. Hundreds turned away do to full capacity. Hopefully next year this is addressed.
Some of the best fields in Santa Fe. Unfortunately, thats not saying much.
I love Zozobra but hate the snooty, pompous people of Santa Fe. Not all but the majority of the people there.
I went to Zozobra.. It was great!
Nice open space and good for walking your dog
Beautiful place for a baseball game.
No amenities, but a pretty view.
Walking trails. Out door environment.
Lots of fun
A must visit
Awesome park kids love it
Came here for zozobra, was a nice park.
Peaceful
Gym, park and baseball field.
Great views
