The trails are nice for walking or biking, but the real gem is Tuckers Grove dog park (to the right and ALL the way down). It is a fantastic large fenced-in dog park. There are almost always other dogs there for your pup to play/socialize with. There is a water station, bags, balls, public bathrooms, and picnic tables/benches in the shade. It is well maintained, and there is even a coin operated dog wash station if your dog gets muddy. Good park and great dog park!

I enjoy this fairly shaded walk/run that passes thru the creek several times. Great picnic & BBQ spots, kids playground, and a dog park in the back.

This is a lovely, easy trail for a relaxing walk. The trail is mostly shaded by oaks and follows to the San Antonio creek. There are several creek crossings on the trail. The beginning of the path goes past the dog park, and continues on to end at highway 154. The whole trail took me a very leisurely hour one way. It probably could be done in 40-45 mins, so ~1.5 hrs total, if youre walking at a brisk pace. I took these photos on 4/5/16, and there are lots of beautiful wildflowers and green scenery. Gorgeous!!

A great little park to get away from civilization not far from Goleta or Santa Barbara. This is a county Park connected to Tuckers Grove Park (which closes at twilight every day). There is a dog park, some picnic areas, and a 1.5 mile trail that follows the creek up to the 154 (where there is another access point). The trail is usually well kept, not very strenuous, and very relaxing when the creek is flowing. Be careful of mountain bikers on the trail. Dogs should be kept on their leashes. Please be sure to keep the park clean by not littering!

Has a great dog park with paths along the creek leading up to coffer dam. Pet washing station available, gopher holes with real gophers, fresh water station... dog heaven! One improvement I would suggest is having a separate area for small dogs and/or timid dogs. Sometimes the large dogs get a bit rowdy. It would be nice to have a safe space for the small and timid dogs to escape to when needed.

I mostly visit this area because they have the best dog park in the Santa Barbara region. The park itself offers a very soothing experience with stately trees that keep it cool even on the hottest days. There are very advanced playground facilities for folks with kids and an athletic field with a nice volleyball court as well.

THE GOOGLE MAP IS WRONG. INSTEAD GO TO TUCKER GROVE PARK. Nice place to walk and do a little hike. You can also get to a trail off of San Marcos Pass Rd/Hwy 154 up the hill. On the left side of the hiway (the canyon side)youll see a gravel parking/turn around spot with a trailhead sign.

Great walk, pretty easy with not a lot of hills. There was water in the creek which was nice, but it was a little more difficult to cross.

Went to dog park at Tuckers Grove. Nice big area for dogs. Mostly dirt. More grass would make it a five star. Dogs had good time

Gorgeous trail that leads to the 154. Come after a rainstorm to listen to the river bubble and flow through the rocks and canyon.

Good mix of technical stuff and climbs for beginners to experts all easily accessible from town. Or park right at the tail head. There is plenty of it.
