Awesome, shady wooden playground. They dont make them like this anymore. Lots of paths and nooks to run around in. Nice center area for parents to sit in and be able to see most of the playground.

Best park ever. These wooden parks are so much fun for kids. This is definitely one of the most scenic parks I’ve ever visited with my kids. The duck pond site was so well maintained as well. Public restrooms are pretty well maintained too.

Pretty small place but plenty big enough to get my 4- and 2-year-old a good happy tired. A half-dozen rides (too bad the 2-year-old wasnt big enough to ride the carousel -- what about letting a parent stand next to the little ones?) and some neat play spaces (the Old West area that the Jolly Trolley runs around was the 4-year-olds favorite and, though the place was reasonably busy on a Sunday, pretty undersubscribed.

Better if youre lucky enough to remember or be blessed with a beach towel in your trunk to bring along and perch out under the trees. Best shady spots are mainly dirt, so come equipped!

Great park for hours of fun. During COVID all parents wore a mask in the play area and occupancy is only 59, so not the weekends. Prior to COVID-19 this park was always super busy during the weekends.

The title is self explanatory. The play area is huge as seen in the picture. Christopher rode his new bike all the way around the park!!! Great place for family and the kids

Fun playground! Lots of climbing and different stuff to do and the structure is different than traditional playgrounds, which makes it more fun. The kids also seem to love the whale, shark and dolphin statues that they can climb on. Bathroom seem pretty clean and a lot of benches for adults to sit down and a lot of picnic tables to eat. Plus there is huge grass area for the kids to run around. It was our first time there and all in all it was very fun for the kids!

Nice playground. A little hard to keep an eye on your kids. The illegal food vendors and many homeless lingering about give it a slightly creepy vibe. Definitely skip the bathrooms if you can.

Awesome playground, parents/babysitters seem to be having fun just as much as their kids. Huge wooden castle, labyrinths, slides. As tourists, we were happy to let our daughter enjoy herself after a walk through downtown, Presidio, etc.

This is a great playground. It is large with many different areas and enough equipment that Ive never seen kids fight over availability. The entire playground is fenced in with half height gates to enter and exit. There is a separate gated off toddler/young child area with lower equipment and toddler swings. Picnic tables are nearby and party areas can be reserved. Restrooms are right outside the playground.

A great stop across the street from a beautiful garden! Lots of play structures and scenic palm trees. There are often vendors who sell great treats for a good price. If you need to use the restroom, best to move on; the ones here are disgusting.

Great place to bring the kids toddler to pre teen. Lots of climbing, slides of all type, hand over hand, a fun marble run but don’t for get to bring a marble, two kid swings, two baby swings and a stage area that does have Magic shows on occasion. I didn’t give it a 5 star due to it not having a changing station in the bathroom.

Alemeda Park has the most awesome play structure. it looks like a castle with bridges, slides, climbing areas, tunnels and swings (tire, toddler and regular). It is truly unique.ProsThe structure is huge and has a great variety of equipment. There are areas for the littest ones and older kids. The bathrooms are clean and nearby.ConsYou will probably lose sight of your kid in this structure. The younger kid equipment is never where littles want to stay and this structure is a large place to follow your kid.If you like to feed ducks and Turtles, head across the street to Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens!
