Great fun and once again I am so impressed that the young guns on their staff that come out with a helpful smile! This time it was Brodie (?) or (Brody) that explained the bikes and off we went. I got the RAD Fat tire and my sister the Specialized Step Through Como. The RAD has a full throttle option and a nice 750 watt battery that just makes me laugh charging up hills that I normally grunt up on my road bike at home.I always recommend you guys due to the friendliness of your staff.

Sergio single-handedly made our tour of Santa Barbara one to remember. The bikes were easy to manuever, because they were electric assist, and the tour was educational as well as exciting.

Renting from bikes to-go was a great experience! we were staying in Carpinteria and they delivered and picked up the bikes from our place no problem :) staff was super friendly and they were very accommodating. they even brought us an extra helmet in a different size just in case. highly recommend.

Services are great! Came from out of town to stay near Santa Barbara. Rented their cruisers for my wife and me. They gave us exactly what I was told I would get. There are no hidden fees and they enjoyed having us rent from them. I recommend their services and their cruisers! Also convenient because they’re only a few minutes from the Santa Barbara wharf just around the corner an easy bike ride.

Had a great experience from reservation, to pickup, to return of two hybrid bikes, for a day of pedaling in Santa Barbara. We walked about 4 miles to get to the location, which is slightly off the beaten path, but close to the waterfront bike and walking path. When we arrived, our reservation was contactless, we were shown our bikes, given all the details we needed, including a great map of town, and two great bike locks for keeping the bikes safe when we were adventuring around town. I was very happy with the quality of the Trek hybrid bikes, and mine even had a brand new gel saddle, which was super comfortable for the climbing we did to get our bikes at the end of the day back to our hotel. And best part? Santa Barbara Bikes To-Go offers complimentary pickup of your bike with a 24 hour or more rental, so we didnt have to figure out how to get back to our hotel 4 miles away on foot... we simply pedaled to the hotel, locked up our bikes for the night, and the team picked them up before we checked out the next morning. Super easy, convenient, and a fun way to see the charm of SB on two wheels.

We always rent from these guys when we have visitors from out of town who want to road bike or e-bike. Really friendly and well organized. Website has a few little glitches, but they always follow up with a prompt phone call or text when you reserve on line. The equipment is all really nice.

Nice people, great bikes and a very good price. I highly recommend Cal Coast Adventures. Their location is a bit off the tourist strip but there is plenty of parking so easy to leave your car when you pick up your bike. I will be going there whenever we are in Santa Barbara for a visit!!!

A wonderful experience! Bikes were ready even though we were early. I know that Santa Barbara should have been the highlight of our trip, after all it was our first time there, but to be honest it was our experience at SB Bikes To-Go that was the real highlight of our trip. From start to finish dealing with the guys at Bikes To-Go was like hanging out with an old friend you havent seen in a while. The bikes were fun and easy to ride. We got electric bikes and thoroughly enjoyed them. I was concerned about the seat adjustment on my bike so one of the guys loaned us his tool so I could make any adjustments I might need on the go. I told you, like hanging out with an old friend.

My husband and I had an incredible time using SB Bikes to Go! We rode to the pier, along the beach, up and down State Street and more. We paid $35.00 per bike to use them all day and it was worth it. I used a bright pink one with a basket and my husband used a sage green one with a basket; the baskets were super convenient as we rode all over town. The best part is that SB Bikes To Go picked you our cruisers from our hotel & we didnt have to worry about riding back to their location. We will 100% use them again when we revisit Santa Barbara.In addition to all of the above, their service was superb. The gentlemen that helped us, Andrew and Elias were so kind and so sweet. Amazing tour of Santa Barbara, saw everything, including a side excursion to see great breakfast options after we asked our guide where to go for breakfast. Really gives you the lay of the land throughout Santa Barbara and went to some beautiful places (Mesa) with amazing views that we never would have gone to on our own. We would definitely do it again...only if we had Sergio as our tour guide again. He was fun, knowledgeable, asked if we had any places we wanted to include in our agenda and he takes awesome videos perfect for the Insta! Make sure to ask for Sergio.

First time mountain biking and while the guide and ride was wonderful, the air was filled with smoke and ash from the entire west coast being on fire.

Had a day off work and rented a turbo electric pedal assisted bike and wow! Im not in shape by any means and I was able to go 20+ miles on this thing and see everything I wanted to! The owner was super helpful and had excellent customer service! He even drove the bikes to where we were staying and picked them up later! Had a great day on these things, if your thinking about it, its WELL worth it!

I was visiting Santa Barbara for a few weeks. I wanted to do some cycling while I was there. I did a search, found this company and booked the bike online. I drove to the place and the bike was pretty much setup and waiting for me - along with a complimentary helmet. I rode the bike each day for two weeks - a nice carbon-fiber road bike - without any problems.I would most definitely rent again from these folks - they were helpful and great to deal with. 5 stars

The guys were super helpful, and incredibly accommodating. Furthermore, great selection of high end bikes, with all the gear available to go out and do very long rides around the area. They were also very helpful in delivering and picking up the bike, making it easy for me to get it and give it back. Last but not least, the price goes down considerably after the 2nd week of rental. I had a great experience with Santa Barbara To-Go in early January of this year. Sergio and Connor both gave me exceptional service. I rented a road bike for 24 hours. The bike was very well-equipped. It had two bottle cages and a repair wedge on the seat with a spare tube and two CO2 cartridges. They even put on and took off my pedals (as I brought my own pedals and shoes). Even better...I used the bike to go to the SB airport to rent a car. To return the bike, I had to take both wheels off to get the frame in back seat area. When I got to the shop, they put the wheels back without giving me any grief. On top of this, Sergio gave me some great tips on places to ride around the Santa Barbara area. I would highly recommend without reservations Santa Barbara Bikes To-Go to anyone, but especially those looking for good road bikes to ride in SB!

We had a great experience with Santa Barbara Bikes To-Go. Not only did Nate get my husband and me fixed up with just the right bikes but he took extra time to figure out a way for us to take our little Westie. He set her up in a little chariot for us to tow her in and also worked to fix restraints to hook to her harness so she could ride both comfortably and safely! Great advice on where to go, the right equipment and friendly service all made for a perfect afternoon!

I rented a MTB bike from these guys for three days and had some great hours in the montains above SB. They have good and many different bikes (hard tails, FS, road, etc.) and are super friendly and helpsome! I recomend to use either RideWithGps or Trailforks for finding different route options.Renting a bike from these guys to experience the SB area is highly recomended!

Ive been renting a bike from Bikes-2-Go for a month, every year since 2012 and its been a great yearly experience!. Very professional group, great bikes, and super friendly and knowledgeable guys.

Had a great ride and the bike was perfect. I was visiting from overseas so it would have been nice to have had more help when I asked for suggestions on a ride to take. The one page photocopy map with very unclear directions was a bit basic. Not a big deal but nice to be a bit more helpful. Bike was great though.

Nate and Andrew were awesome. We had a great time zooming down the mountain. They also went out of their way to take us to a dirt trail so we can experience both on road and off road. Great conversationalists and very informed about the area. Would definitely go back!

Rented a bike from this place during a day trip to Santa Barbara.Its our familys first time to ride on ebikes. I did not even know that this kind of bike exist.Where have I been all these years ? I was 12 the last time i remembered riding a bike. A traditional bike where you have to do a lot of pedaling and soak your shirt from sweat.Ebikes gives you the option to ride them as normal traditional bikes and or use the option to propel them using its electric motors.We had so much fun riding these ebikes along the beach.Most of all.. Hats off for the warm and friendly greeting given by Connor and Elias. Connor very well explained how the bike work and gave us a map on suggested places to bike. All questions were answered by Connor and Elias and he made sure we are happy with our rentals.Will definitely be back to bring family and friends to rent bikes from Santa Barbara Bikes To Go. I emailed SB Bikes to go last night about availability and I got a response within 2 hours so thumbs up for that. Nate and Sean could not have been more helpful setting me up with the right Hybrid for my ability level and gave me a 9 mile loop trail guide as well as a taco recommendation. I love riding the coast and this was an awesome place to get a great bike rental.

I rented a Specialized Roubaix from Andrew and Nate for the 2019 SB 100 ride and loved the bike and the rental place! These guys were so friendly, knowledgable and accommodating for exactly what I needed. The bike itself was in perfect shape and was so comfortable and just a great ride. The location of the rental store is riding distance from where we were staying (near the race start and finish) and all in all, the rental worked out perfectly. I would definitely recommend renting from them again and will recommend them to others coming to do the race from afar who dont want to have to break down their own bike and travel cross country with it. I give them a full on 5-star rating!!

My son and I did a ride up to Mountain Rd with Sergio and it was top notch. He went above and beyond stopping for all sorts of Santa Barbara highlights, and paced the ride so it was challenging, but not too challenging. Highly recommend.

The staff is really friendly when I was picking out my bike and the bikes are really great. I took a bike with my family to a beach and they didn’t charge very much for the trip. When we got back, the staff was friendly to the kids and offered cold cups of water, which I thought was very nice.

Best bicycle rental experience Ive had. Came into town looking for a road bike to rent for interval workout and road riding. Multiple options in my size, as well as pedal options, helmets & full repair kit. Also provided a map of local road rides and Connor identified a perfect stretch for me to do my interval workout.Andrew, who was wrenching, was lightning quick putting the right pedals on the Specialized Roubaix and adjusting seat height.While its a good option for avid cyclists, they had a wide variety of bikes for every interest. Although I went to their location, their web site indicates they offer delivery and pickup in the area if youre renting more than one bicycle.Best to check ahead on availability, but the road bike selection was pretty strong.A great service, with super friendly folks. Everything I could ask for. Connor and Andrew rock.

Bikes to Go was great! I went to their website to order up three bikes for delivery while we were on vacation in Montecito for a week. When we arrived at the property, the bikes were wating along with helmets and locks. ( side note. someone even called me before delivering to confirm it was OK to leave them at our rental home before we arrived). For pickup, I simply left everything where they dropped them. I received a call that day to make sure we were ready for them to gather them. Great operation and highly recommend!

I rented a carbon road bike for a ride up Gibraltar rd to the top of the mountains that line the SB coast. The staff here is super friendly and helpful-I was able to pick up my bike around closing time the day before my rental so I could get going first thing in the morning, and they made sure the bike was fitted to me before I rode off. A seat bag with a spare tube and CO2 cartridges was included with my rental. Bike itself worked perfectly-well adjusted, chain oiled, and drivetrain clean and shiny like new. Highly recommend this place for beach cruisers and hardcore roadies alike!
