Had such a blast with my husband on the Prisoners Harbor Kayak Tour for our one year wedding anniversary!! Such a beautiful tour with breaktaking views of the island! Our tour guide was so awesome and very knowledgeable. We both enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back again in the future. Definitely worth every penny!!

Had the absolute best time! Chuck was a knowledge, friendly guide. I loved hearing about his adventures, the wildlife, and the history of the islands. I would be surprised if anyone knows the land better than him.

My boyfriend and I took the kayak tour around Santa Cruz Island in early September and had a blast. The Adventure Company provided detailed instructions about what to bring and how to prepare via email before our trip so we were all set once we got to the park. It was easy to social distance on the water with our small group, and our guide Jim supplemented the beautiful views with fascinating stories about the island. I also appreciated that we were allowed to determine the duration and features of tour. My favorite part was kayaking through the caves. We cant wait to go back-- especially once the Scorpion Bay is ready for tours!

I have to say I enjoyed my Kayak tour way more than I thought I would. The ferry ride over was amazing. The dolphins played with us most of the way which was so amazing to watch. Dustin was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable about the islands and all things living on and around them. I was traveling alone which always causes a level of anxiety however Dustin did such a great job keeping everyone engaged I was totally comfortable. It was a great experience that I would highly recommend. My only regret was I forgot my dry bag for my phone so I had to buy a disposable dinosaur camera at CVS and still haven’t developed the pictures. I have a few from land on my phone....all in all I would do it again for sure!

Fantastic tour, I did the prisoner harbor kayak tour and had a blast! Saw some incredible things both on the ferry and on the tour. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was one of my favorite experiences EVER. When you arrive at the ferry and even on the ferry itself, the wonderful people at the Channel Islands Adventure Company connect with you so you know where to go and what to do, even before you arrive at Santa Cruz Island. Once you get there, they patiently help you with anything you need to get ready for kayaking.The kayaking itself is out of this world. The rocky shores and sea caves of the Santa Cruz Island are breathtaking; the jade water is so clear you can see the gorgeous wildlife under the surface (not to mention some harbor seals at the surface). Our guide Caco was so much fun and generous with his knowledge of and passion for the area and its wildlife. He took us through exquisite sea caves and took pains to allow us to make the most of the experience.Everyone we interacted with at Channel Islands Adventure Company was warm, kind, professional, knowledgeable and fully committed to providing the best experience possible. It was truly perfect in every way. I cannot recommend Channel Islands Adventure Company adventures highly enough! Do it! You will be so happy you did.

Fantastic tour at prisoners harbor. Aubrie was a great guide. We had a lot of fun and it was a great start to a three day backpacking trip. It’s a must do if you’re visiting the islands!

We had a great day on Santa Cruz island for our kayaking tour. Saw much wildlife, kayaked through caves - and our guide John had been doing it for 30+ years and was delightful, kind and knowledgeable! Loved it!

My group and I had a blast! Our tour guides were Scott and Chuck and they were great. They were very helpful during some of the difficult maneuvers and had all kinds of great information about the places we were kayaking through and the wildlife around us. They were super friendly and made sure we kept up with the group without rushing us.I had read the negative reviews about this company before getting tickets but after the experience, Im not sure what they were complaining about. They made everything pretty easy for us: they offered wetsuits and wet shoes for us to wear, a large place to store our things, and gave clear instructions on how to kayak! The only thing is that its definitely a work out, so bring food and be prepared to be sore after. But honestly, it was completely worth it.

Wow! Aubrie made my kayak and snorkeling tour an amazing experience. I was in town for business and just showed up early that morning to see if they had room for me. They did! One of the best days I have had in a long time. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! Worth every penny. All the gear is provided, we kayaked and snorkeled sea caves and around the island. We even snorkeled through a kelp forest! What a beautiful experience. I will be back, and next time I’m bringing friends!I really want to emphasize how Aubrie and her knowledge really made this day special for me. I am a biologist too, and I appreciate the scientific names and her attention to the animals. I wanted to learn, and I did! Thank you Aubrie!

We did the Prisoners Harbor Kayak Tour. We had a great time. Instructions upon booking received from the company were clear and easy to follow. Employees on the ferry and our tour guides were all very friendly and very informative. Overall a fun experience and amazing sights! Would like to do the Sea Cave Tour next time and maybe camp overnight.

We loved our experience! Adam was a super-knowledgeable guide, and my boyfriend and I learned so much about the wildlife and sea life of Santa Cruz Island while having fun and being active.

What a special way to spend the day! Learned so much from the guide, had so much fun, went to places otherwise harder to get to. Highly recommend.

Prisoners Harbor Kayak Tour was fantastic! Chuck is INCREDIBLY knowledgable and took us on a very fun 2.5 hour tour along the coastline of Santa Cruz Island. The water visibility was fantastic and we could see all sorts of seals, garibaldi, sea stars, urchins, etc. It was a blast for all skill levels!

We had a great kayaking experience at Scorpion Anchorage on Santa Cruz island. Matt was our guide and was very knowledgeable about kayaking, wildlife, and the history of the island. We explored several sea caves and saw harbor seals, fish and birds. It was a lot of fun.

My daughter and I had an excellent excursion with Chuck and 6 other group mates. Chuck knew a ton about the natural habitat and shared the right amount of detail so that we were interested, but not bored. He also built up just enough anxiety about the skill needed to get through some of the caves to make the trip exciting and to make us feel like we did something skillful! It was a great trip and a good value. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing! We had a very small tour size group for the kayak/snorkeling and Elise was a great guide. One of our favorite experiences by far!

Amazing trip - can’t recommend it enough! We showed up without booking ahead and all tours were booked, but Pat offered to do a special afternoon tour four our group of 5. He took us out, showed us sea caves, birds, told us about the island geology, and the kelp forests. 5/5!

There are no words to describe our experience touring the sea caves by kayak. My friend and I kept saying that it was definitely one of the best days of our lives. Our guide, Matt, was wonderful and so was the group we were with. We saw seals, dolphins, octopus, kelp forests, and simply being in nature surrounded by the ocean was unreal!
