First time I tried a winery and I think it was great. Nice people, nice area, and there seems to always be a nice breeze there. Plenty of spacing between us and other guests so I felt totally comfortable even with my worries about covid-19.

I like drinking white wine and it’s hard to find some in this area. They did have a couple and the staff was super friendly. We were there for quite a while. If you are looking for one with a view, this may not be it. There are several others in the area that have a good view but I did see several folks just hanging out with friends and family.

Paid $18.00 for an all red wine tasting all told, we received 3 tastes that equaled about 1.5 ounces total! That equals a very expensive glass of wine! Pourer didnt offer to offset the reds only taste in any form! Very poor for business promotion! Truthfully. with that type of pour no one could make a decision on purchasing! Must be in for making money on tastings!Do not recommend this place for wine tasting!!

Ive been sipping on C&C wines for almost 4 years now. I was hooked on their Gewurztraminer - which is just perfect on a nice sunny day. Great wine, great outdoor scene, and great staff. The story of the owners and how they got started is incredible. During the summer, they do a concert series called Sips & Songs and it is an absolute delight. You get the beautiful central coast weather, awesome local musicians, and food trucks with delicious eats paired with great wine. The staff at C&C love what they do and it comes through in their demeanor and their customer service. I have been recommending C&C to friends and family for years and they love it just as much as I do!

Weve been to a few wineries and this has been my favorite. Its a nice relaxed, unpretentious vineyard. The staff is friendly, the scenery is great and the wines are delicious. And they are biker friendly :) .

Some of the best pinots the Central Coast has to offer with refreshing whites and other varietals as well. Beautiful outdoor seating and outdoor bar area, and great barrel room inside with natural insulation. Service and flavors never disappoint.

I have been a fan of Claiborne & Churchill for many years now. Their Pinot Noir holds as a standard for the varietal in my opinion. But they also produce great white wines, such as their dry Gewurztraminer and dry Riesling. For most, these varietals are typically sweet, but C&C has made them approachable, light, and aromatic. Your seafood has a new friend.

One of my favorites, they have harder to find varietals- amazing Pinot Noir and dry German whites. The gewurztraminer is my favorite. The staff is always pleasant. Check out the window in the wall of their tasting room- the wall is insulated with hay.

The Claiborne & Churchill Winery is a must for visitors to San Luis Obispo. Its located in the Edna Valley about two miles from SLO on Highway 227.Over the years, it has maintained its high quality wine and at an affordable price. The tasting room staff is pleasant and knowledgeable.

My husband and I were just there about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Patty was behind the bar: charming, pleasant and fun to talk to. We absolutely fell for the dry Reisling and dry Gwertztraminer. I am a Sauvingon Blanc drinker and my husband prefers Chardonnays but we both agreed on these 2 and so much so we joined the club. Just received 4 more bottles 2 days ago and just in time. Love this winery. Take some cheese and bread, buy a bottle and sit outside at the winery, its beautiful!!!! Thanks Patty for a great experience.
