I love this shopping center in general, but this bowling alley is exceptional. The lanes are always great, the atmosphere is lively..I dont think Ive ever been here without seeing a good deal of the lanes busy. The inside of this place is super clean and smells brand new. But what sets this place apart from any other bowling alley is the amount of really awesome pinball machines. Last time I was in they had Frankenstein, a machine I always wanted to play but the obscurity of the game left me at loss. Not even Pinball Hall of Fame had it. But somehow this bowling alley had it! I am beyond impressed with this place and their selection of pinball machines.

Here at Kearny Mesa Bowl. My family had terrible experience. With bartender Toni disrespecting my Niece and family. On my sister... her Mothers birthday. Stating she (my Niece) was taking advantage of other patrons. Because they were buying her drinks. Stay in a bartenders lane and serve drinks. She didnt seem to mind them buying her (Toni) drinks

Food, game center, and bowling. I hod lots of fun!!!

Loved this place! Had the time of my life! Two hours of pure fun and the place / bathrooms were kept clean. Food buying is very expensive so eat and drink sodas before going to have fun!

The place is boarded up as if they are preparing for an apocalypse

Casual and very busy on a Friday night. Bar in the back has nice selection of beers and you can buy a pitcher to share while you wait for your lane to open. Not fancy but very fun.

Came here for a special day for my grandsons birthday.Checking in was great.Then it went south,I went to place an order of fries for my grandson. Nobady was there.Then I went to the lady at the desk who check us in to get service. She was no help???all the employees at the desk rather talk then help.Then we were were fin with our first game followed the instructions to restart the next game?? Would not reset...had to go back up to the desk to get it fixed.I really for a first time here!!! Not good.Mr. Stacey Williams

True American bowling alley. Fun games, strong drinks, great ole bar food, mac and cheese bites are bomb and not bad bowling. Get you some of this place.

Good place to go bowling and has some nice arcade games, but some machines have the wiring amounts for how many cons you have to put in.

I really enjoyed this bowling alley even with the old style computers. I mentions this because when/if you have an issue with the system. They quickly come and help you which I think is absolutely beautiful. I thank all the staff and bar tenders/bouncer who worked August 17th and made my first time bowling here at this establishment it was a wonderful experience.

Good time and was a lot of fun, thank goodness they also allowed adult beverages, the way I bowled, i needed them!

The wait for a lane was a little long, but thats to be expected when league is playing... The service at the bar was great. The bartenders were very attentive to when I walked in even though they had a good crowd in already. Thank you ladies! Great job. You deserved the tips!

The kitchen needs help. The one cook is doing too much at one time, they need to hire someone part time to help him on the weekends. Its too much work for him and he was burning pizza, onion rings,etc. The honey mustard is WATERED DOWN!!! The soda has lost its carbonation. They need to revamp the whole kitchen operation and products seriously!

Pro shop service sucked. I wanted to get a basic ball bag and shoes. Other people came in after me that were regulars and wanted high end balls and I was totally ignored. It would have only been a $125.00 to $150.00 sale for him. I guess thats not good enough for KMB. Sorry I waisted my time going there.

Great place! Lot of fun. Relatively decent food for a bowling alley but an excellent full bar with experienced friendly bartenders. This place gets packed though so make sure you call ahead of time.

Had so much fun on News years day (evening) . A small wait but no big deal!

Fun place to bowl. Lanes are in good condition. Staff are nice but they show a clear preference for their league play. We (group of 12) were given about 5 minutes notice before having our games suddenly closed out for a league game. We had been playing for 1 1/2 hrs and had been given no warning of a time limitations. Disappointing since I was 8 frames into my best score ever.

Seemed reasonably well maintained. A bit pricey though. No announcement or excitement when someone bowled a 300 a few lanes over.

Just good ol fashion bowling. We travel 13 miles but it is well worth it. Clean, bright and fun. The prices are fantastic compared to the alleys in our neighborhood.

I love this place. We always have a blast with the DJ and people who always come to sing.

Not good this time.. it took a while to get the guy over to get the balls out that were caught and then they interrupted the 1hr. Game to oil the lanes... hmmm do that on someone elses dime. Needless to say we ran out of our prepaid time and didnt get to finish.Ill go to a different bowling alley next time

I have been bowling here for a while. I love the lanes, I love the atmosphere and most of the workers are really great. As a strictly bowling experience it has been wonderful.I usually only go on the weekends but today was my first weekday. Totally different set of employees. I had an issue with my food order and Doris at the snack bar said well thats how I make it. Her implication that it cant be wrong because thats how she always makes it is wrong.I always order the same thing and tonight was the first time I had a complaint and i was met with attitude and dismissive remedies.I will edit my review if the proprietor reaches out to me.

Ive been a local bowler here for years, I moved to northern California and have been hard pressed to find an alley with the same amenities.

Great bowling alley with awesome staff! Bartenders are on point and there is plenty of seating when they are busy.For bowlers, their leagues are generally well run and the house takes better than average care of the lanes.

Go here late at night for neon bowling. The arcade is awesome too

The pool was fun. It was quiet for about 10-15 minutes so I put 5$ in the jukebox. One of my 6 songs played and other songs got prioritized. You can pay to prioritize so I just waited it out with my friends. It became clear that the girl working the bar played her songs because she was twerking, dancing, and singing every lyric to every song. No big deal except over an hour and 15 minutes later I don’t hear any of my songs because she is skipping them. Not saying she can’t do it but I wouldn’t call it great customer service to prioritize your songs over the customers. Two stars well deserved. I won’t put any money into that jukebox again. I’ll probably look for somewhere else to play from now on.

So much fun! A bit outdated but fun bowling vibe. Cosmic bowling after 9p. Decent size bar with many pool tables and a jukebox if karaoke isnt going. Must spend $10 to run a card if that matters.

This was a decent bowling ally. It was clean enough and felt safe enough to take the family here. It was very well air conditioned on a 90 degree day. The place was very busy though. I would recommend and I would go back.

I used to bowl 3 times a week for like 4 hours a day, havent done that in ages but I still love bowling.Sadly the lane they put me on had a ball return that out some nasty gashes in my balls, but the lady at the front desk was helpful with that and got it setup to have the pro shop repair them for me.All in all my visit was great, I got to practice my bowling and despite having a little mechanical mishap I left happy.

Im only here for the ride! Im currently unable to bowl, but for the past 7 months Ive been coming out to play with my friends! In this time I can honestly say that the only 2 times we had great bar service was about 3 months ago when the regular bar tender was out sick!! The Sunday morning bar tender has never opened the bar on time in the whole 7 months Ive been coming here! Once she does arrive she is groggy and not very friendly, unless she knows you somehow.I wont complain about the rest of the staff because even tho theyre not very animated or friendly, at least they are doing their jobs and from what I can tell, theyre on time!!We dont always get food, but what we have eaten has been tasty. Honestly, the only complaint is about the sub par bar service.

Its a bowling alley in San Diego. Its not bougie, but its not expensive. Foods okay, as the song goes, bowling alley burger, fries and a milkshake. Pro shop is okay for basic services. Theyve upgrade software over time, which is cool. Bowling alleys are kind of kitschy nowadays, but this place is homey and comfortable and unpretentious. Bring your own shoes because renting shoes is gross.

Too long of a wait, packed, has an odor and not a very kid friendly place. This is not a very good bowling alley and Parkway Bowl in La Mesa/ El Cajon is MUCH better. No lines, crowds, full arcade, rides.

Great experience but very high priced. The service at the bar was a little lack luster too. We had some issues with our lane but the people were quick to respond to our request and fix the problem. Overall, not a bad experience and had a great time, just not sure if the price matched the experience.

We go daytime bowling with our little kids. Cheap to play, very helpful staff so we get bumpers and ramps, and the other customers that time of day are super friendly and nice.

Went bowling here on a Saturday night. There are limited good options for bowling nowdays, but this place was fine. The beer was cold, the lanes worked fine. The system they have looks like it hasnt been updated since the early 90s. Make sure to make reservations if you want to bowl Friday/Saturday night as the lanes get reserved by large groups.

For the overall adult bowling experience, this is a great place. The drinks are reasonably priced, and so are the snacks. The lanes arent as well kept as a bigger place like Brunswick, but the service is better. The pricing is good too. I would recommend taking the kids to Brunswick, bring your adult friends here.

To still get help/service while we were having our company party was simply amazing. They were organized and the bar staff was awesome. 10 thumbs up. Kareoke was a bit advanced ... ipads instead of books and pencils. I thought that was smart.

Been there multiple times. A typical bowling ally with around 30-40 lanes. People that work there are friendly, but the place feels a bit old needs an update. The arcade area is a bit limited, so not much to do if you need to wait for your lane.

This is a great place with a reasonable price. The only thing that bothers me is that they dont have a separate section for kids and family that dont want alcohol but other than that its a great place.

It was a good place to get together for a friends birthday. We all had fun bowling badly and were nicely accommodated by the staff

Staff is friendly, price a reasonable, and fun for everyone. There is an arcade along with pool tables. Food and drinks for all ages. There also happens to be 40 lanes to bowl.
