An absolutely beautiful park. It has a wonderful view from the top, lots of windy trails, and hidden nooks, a great place to play, chill, BBQ, walks, and everything you can think of. I highly recommend visiting this lovely park.

This is a great park in the middle of a bunch of apartments and condos. You do not have to be a resident to visit. There is plenty of grass to picnic, sidewalk to scooter/skate, and a big playground for the kids. This park is kid friendly and dog friendly. The bathroom facilities are nice and clean. There are security guards to keep the place safe. Its a great escape in the middle of Mission Valley.

Beautiful location open for everyone and has a lot of things to do! Cute little bunny statues to hunt for with the kiddos. Fantastic park!

Beautiful huge park. There are these really cute pergola type seating areas all along the park. No playground but there is a splash area and the kids have a lot of fun. The bathrooms are nice and well kept. Lots of green grass to sit and have a picnic or a party. There is a garden area but I dont know if its accessible for everyone. There are 2 basketball courts and plenty of parking. In the summer they have free musical acts at the amphitheater part and food trucks. It looks like they are expanding the park so hopefully will have a playground at some point but I really love this park. Very chill atmosphere and beautiful. Very clean!

Nice little park to take the family. When everything g is back to normal it will be great. Miss playing with the giant chess board. And the water jets were out of order so couldnt run through with the kids. Still. Nice park not over crowded.

This park was awesome previous to COVID-19. They had a flea market on certain days, and a food truck night.The place was vibrant with basketball courts and just a lot of activities, but my favorite this is their monument to the man and women of armed forces!

Lots of parking, well maintained and very clean. Its always filled with family events, exercise classes, and people picnicking on the grass. Theres a dog park at the very north end up the stairs as well.

Nice location. Most of the dogs here are well behaved. Owners are mostly good, occasionally youll get someone not watching their dog or who is snippy.

The park is very nice and well maintained. Make sure if you want to play with your dog you only play near the dog parks or people will call the humane society as they posted a sign with the number. The dog parks are fairly large though. 2 are all dirt and 2 are grass so you can choose which to play in.

Just amazing, locals do need to follow covid rules. Wear your mask and keep your dog on a leash. Signs after signs posted all over

An absolutely oasis 8n the middle of hustling Mission Valley. It has a good size inviting Splash Pad to delight kids and adults alike. Perfect place for a stroll or a picnic.

This park is great. The architect is brilliant. Its got the best wood chips of any park.

Very modern, convenient park with a stage area most other parks would kill for! Very clean with fun amenities like BBQ, fountain playground, clean restrooms. Parking might be an issue, especially on a concert night, but they did have an overflow lot.

I absolutely love Civita. I live in a neighborhood about a mile away and its a lovely quiet place to either walk around or sit and unwind. Everyone Ive talked to is very friendly. Everything about the little community is beautiful. I just love it. Make sure you respect the place and youll feel right at home.

Good park with ample seating and lots of space. Shade is limited.There are lots of bathrooms that are unfortunately closed given the current situation. Hopefully they reopen again soon.It is a great park to walk around when its not super hot.

Did an outdoor HIIT workout on the upper level by the basketball courts and it was great! The grass was nice, the ground is flat and the weather was beautiful. Definitely be going back.

Civita Park is an excellent place to have a picnic, a party, walk your dog, exercise, jog, play basketball, chess, checkers or relax and do nothing! Theres so much to do and theyre still expanding the park. Theres a vegetable garden, a wonderful amphitheater (for concerts, plays, sunrise services, etc.) a jogging trail and many clean bathrooms with washing facilities.Its very handicap friendly with ramps and handicap parking close by. Theres also a water park that shoots water 30 feet in the air, for the kids. Parking isnt a problem as theres several parking lots.I like it because its dog friendly, through out the park (keeping your dog on a leash) but theres also 2 fenced areas if you want to take your dog off leash. Theres a permanent ping pong table, large chess pieces/table and plenty of custom cement tables, chairs and sofas.Plenty of grassy areas to picnic, watch an outdoor concert, nap privately or play any number of games with your family and friends. Its a great park and its only going to get better as it expands.

Im gonna have to say 4 stars right now, because due to the coronavirus all lot of the park is still caution taped off. However, there are basketball courts and a nice field area, as well as a memorial, I couldnt get too close because like I said its taped off.

Dont be dirty when you get here or theyll think youre homeless and if you happen to have a candy wrapper on the ground in front of you theyll come up to you and say pick up your trash; you have to leave now. And I had it on the bench next to me the wind blew it to the ground and I hadnt noticed. Snobby hoity-toity mother fers. Ridiculous

What a beautiful park! Great play place for the kids, especially on hot days when they can use the splash pad. Its a big area and isnt quite complete yet. Cant wait to see what its like when its done. Big fields for playing sports.

Beautiful park. Nice and open and somewhat hidden. The only downfall os that there arent a lot of trees, otherwise they have really beautiful table areas, a performance area, a lottle trail and plenty of grass.

This is a great place to bring your family. There is a small splash park and plenty of space to run and ride scooters. The restrooms are clean and well cared for. There is a small public garden that is fun to stroll by. Basketball courts and a soon to be playground add to the quality of this hidden gem. My kids love it.

This park is really nice for both adults and children. They have water fountains that the kids can play in. They also have walking areas so you can get plenty of exercise. They also have food trucks on Tuesday during the summer.

Fun park to hangout with the kids. This park has plenty to do, water area for the kids to play in, large chess board, pingpong tables, small tables with chess/checker boards, barbecues, basketball half courts and other activities. I would recommend this park anyday.

This is a great park with something for everyone. Dog runs, shaded areas, entertainment venue, great views. Public restrooms, public art.

This is a great park that has a little bit of everything. Located in Mission Valley it provides an area for dogs small and large to run around freely, small water park jets for the kids to play in, basketball courts, trails for running or walking and also a food truck Tuesday to get a little sampling of different foods. I guess the only downside would be all the construction going on, but it definitely does not take away from the beauty of the park and all the things to do here.

Easily one of my familys favorite parks. It is new, open, very inviting and we always leave happier than when we came. There is a splash pad, a hill with grass, a decent amount of parking, and is a great location for a small party. We highly recommend it, even if that means it will get so busy well probably start to hate it. They really added a nice park to our city when they added Civita Park.

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful parks in San Diego. There is a water fountain for kiddos to run through, there are tennis courts, basketball courts, places to sit and even a giant dog park.

One of our favorite parks in the city. Can’t wait for them to add play area and lift all Covid 19 restrictions.

Nice benches quiet and family/pet friendly

I live in the community of Civita I really enjoyed coming to walk around the park, clean and peaceful only down fall they recently closed down the dog park Due to covid19 which is understandable, but now we saw signs that a elementary school will take its place it was a beautiful view amd walk to get yo the dog park. Sad its gonna be gone I hope civita makes a place for our furry freinds to let socialize and run around to play. The civita park is growing alot and many spots to allow a dog park run to be as utilization within the park so it can cater to all family and dog freind neighbor Civita has been known for.

Beautiful park! Lots of grass, sitting areas and walking paths. Parts of it are still under construction as of November 2019 but it is really nice area for families and dogs to hang.

What a lovely park! The stage and the tiered grass for spectators are well designed. The shade structures with the plants look great and of course provide shade. The water feature for the kids! What a great idea!

It is a wonderful park for families, relaxing, playing basketball. They also have events like food truck, live music and movies in the park. I cant wait until they finish construction of the whole park.

I HAD TO TELL THE PARENT ABOUT EVEN THOUGH THAT AREA WAS FOR CHILDREN, IT WAS NOT WISE BECAUSE PEOPLE VALUE THEIR ANIMAL LIFE OVER HUMAN LIFE. THEY WERE ALLOWING THEIR PETS TO POOP WHERE CHILDREN PLAY. EVEN THOUGH THE RULES STIPULATE OTHERWISE. HB
