Our trip was great. We were able to make it to three shows. We saw the Sea Lion show, the Dolphin show, and the Christmas animals show, which was really fun. The manta rays were really fun for the kids, because they can touch and feed them. It would have been five stars, but because of covid restrictions Sea World cannot operate their rides at this time, otherwise it would have been a solid 5 star experience. I still give it 4.5. We had a great time, and very short wait times.

The most amazing place everSeaWorld SD is the most amazing attraction I have ever visited, it is completely amazing, you must visit it if you are ever in San Diego.Make sure to plan the day around showtimes and make sure to visit all exhibits and shows, do not miss anything, each and every one of them is just amazing, and plan to spend the entire day to be able to see it all.It is fun to be in the splash zone so make sure to take a raincoat.Just like any other park, the food and drinks prices are more expensive than the normal outside prices, so take enough water and snacks for the day.

The weekend weather was great for visiting Sea World. They were well prepared for social distancing. Seats are marked in the stadiums and the cafés. Face covering us being enforced. All rides are closed, the Cirque show is happening, and Wild Artic was closed on Friday.Sad to see Pets Rule is no longer there, it was fun to watch. It did seem as though the shows were very basic and much shorter than before.Still a good visit.

My family had a blast when we were there in 2015. The food was great and the shows were amazing. My kids swam with the dolphins which was the highlight of their day. Apparently in 2017 was there was the last year they had the Killer whales shows. Thats a shame but they have plenty of other great entertaining shows that keep you humped up. And the Hurricane lemonade with alcohol was dang good. Social Media is the death of everything these days. No more circuses and one day someone will cry about a sea lion and that will be the end of all shows. They dont talk about all the good things that sea world does for the mammals . Anyways after this covid corrects itself, make sure to book a trip, You wont be disappointed.

SeaWorld has always been one of my favorite places to visit and I would spend all day exploring the park. These days, due to covid, the time to go through the remaining open attractions was a mere 4 hrs. The shows are as good as ever but the closed attractions take away from what SeaWorld used to be. I hope well be back to normal soon!

SeaWorld during the COVID pandemic is definitely a different experience! Staff does a great job of hosting the current shows and making it entertaining for the whole family. It was unfortunate that many exhibits like the Shark and Penguin Encounters are currently closed, but we were still able to enjoy the flamingos, sea lions, dolphins, and of course Orcas! The SeaWorld Christmas Celebration is a joy on its own, and the park is lit up with holiday cheer after dark. Would recommend visiting if you enjoy the shows they have to offer and visiting the animals on your own.

The park was fantastic, The shows were awesome, most of the workers were great, Frances that worked in the main gift shop was wonderful and very knowledgeable... the food was terrible and pizza was half raw and very wet.. very disappointing for the money we paid... I have never been to Sea World before so I was pretty disappointed a lot was closed off... We walked by the Seal tank and there was supposed to be station that we could buy food for them and feed them, but it was closed, the Seals were up on their places waiting to be fed, they looked so sad.. it was the saddest thing I ever saw... but Im great full I got to see them, I am forever grateful for all the shows,,, these gorgeous Darlings are all so smart... The bbq and brews ticket is a bit of a rip off. The food is absolutely terrible. Might be worth it for the beer. Also the vip re-served seating is a scam. You dont need it. You can see all the shows with your basic ticket. They trick you with the sign. They make you think you have to get one to see the shows and you dont. Got scammed for 100 dollars on that one. Wow what an awful experience. The park was so incredibly crowded even though you have to make a reservation. That obviously didnt mean anything. The line for customer service was an hour long. The park was so crowded, there was a line for absolutely everything. Even to enter one of the few gift shops open.Hardly any animal exhibits are open. No rides at all. Hardly any food/drink stalls open. I was so excited to try a frozen margarita but after 15 minutes in a line that was barely moving I gave up.We saw flamingos. That was it. We couldnt handle the 1+ hour waits in the sun to see any other animals for 45 seconds. The park was filthy and overcrowded. No social distancing. I didnt see any employees cleaning. There was really nothing positive about the visit to Sea World today. I doubt we will return at all.Dont waste your time coming, Sea world is NOT trying their best at all to make a positive reopening.

Great park as always despite the COVID limitations. The downside is that a lot of things are closed like the rides and other indoor attractions. Shark encounter is open as is the penguin encounter, they just spread everyone out. The upside is that the park is not near its capacity, so lines are never bad and its generally easy to see everything you want in a few hours. Plan on getting in line early for the popular shows (and the popular times) since the stadiums are at reduced capacity as well, but we didnt have any trouble getting into the shows we wanted to see.

Have been going to Sea World since 2012. I have been disappointed with the way they have handled the reopening since Covid. I understand they have guidelines and a business to run but in my opinion they should be expanding on what they can control during this Covid restriction time. Half of everything is closed and a basic plain ballpark hotdog costs $9. The all day eating pass is gone and replaced with a “six” item punch card which is good for only tiny portions of food that isn’t as good as it was prior to Covid. Sea World... please open the restaurants and extend the shows that you are able to show. We paid for season passes only to have to pay $30 ea to get into the park in September. We still love Sea World and appreciate all that they do to rescue animals but attention is needed in the visitation. Lower food prices and better animal experience is needed.

I will always be a fan of Seaworld and will visit when we can with health issues and if we are ever in the area again.HORRIBLE customer service. Bought annual passes with ez pay right before COVID started so never got to use them. Have been waiting it out for them to reopen and be able to use. Two things now prevent that, a new job half way across the US and a very high risk child in heart failure (could provide medical documentation of this), so will not be taking him out for a very long time, even when things reopen. They will not refund money on an ez pay plan. $400 that they get to keep that we cannot use and to top it off their customer service rep Nicki was so rude and that was the supervisor I requested to speak to. When everyone is effected by this a little compassion can go a long way, none of which they will give. I have bought annual passes from them before and donated money here and there when I bought stuff, but I will no longer do that. Their policies need to change in times like this.

Lots of creatures to see and touch throughout the park as well as rides and play areas for all ages.We brought in a few snacks to help our kids push through a bit longer. We stopped at Mama Stellas for a late lunch and spent around $50 to feed four people. About what youd expect for amusement park fare. There are bathrooms with changing tables and drinking fountains throughout the park. We also had a stroller and for most of the indoor exhibits/shows you will need to leave the stroller outside. The roller coasters were surprisingly good! We went on the Manta and Electric Eel. Both really fun for those who meet the height requirement.I was not impressed by the parks cleanliness which is why I rated it four stars. All in all, they do a great job entertaining and educating you about the animals in their care and Id recommend a visit if youre looking for something to do in San Diego.

On August 16 I was celebrating 12 years of marriage with my wife and this was our anniversary trip, thing than came to a total disaster after we arrived into SeaWorld San Diego and the park was closed.I bought these tickets online with the supervision of a telephone agent named Jorge who guide me into the website and actively suggest services and extras which I paid.My telephone calls to your customer service during this week and last week have proved to be frustrating, pointless, and unsuccessful. In fact, even supervisors have provided the same answer. My refund is in a queue. Theres nothing that they can do to help me. As I previously stated, I have called several times. I find this unacceptable. And, in fact, I plan to go to social media if I am not contacted within 24 hours of sending this correspondence, because I’m taking this like a act of theft from your organization.Additionally, upon arriving in San Diego on August 15, checking into my hotel, and finding surprised looks on the faces of people I told I was going to the park on the 16th. As if conspiratorially, many others were aware that the park would not be open. Yet, I was not timely informed, and made the trip with my wife and my two small children via car from Las Vegas Nevada. The trip was to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. This is a significant milestone. We had looked very forward to this trip. We had planned it and thought about it and hoped for it for a long time before we actually booked it.Please, I implore you, escalate my issue to the highest level possible. I need my refund now. Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.Sincerely,Jorge Garcia

Enjoyed the orcas only. Do not buy the add on dine and drink, food was extremely disappointing. Most of the good food booth was not open. All they had mainly was water and soda. The pretzel and churro was hard and bland. Pretzel was burnt. Very disappointed.

Been a LONG TIME. In Nor Cal we have Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo. In So Cal we have SeaWorld, and SeaWorld rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yes, I have been, and yes, it has been quite some time. This is one of the popular spots we would visit when staying in Mission Beach. Fireworks at night time through out the Summer.

An ok place at best. Offered a free pass for military but that was a sham. They were like nope not today it’s $75. It’s not worth that much to see a few mammals do tricks. Save your money for groceries or bills.

All the rides were closed when we were there. A few shows here and there...maybe it is good to go when everything is back to normal for a better experience.

Great for the entire family. There’s Sesame Street for the kids and roller coasters for adults. The landscaping is beautiful and has been really thought out.

Focus of park has changed for the better. Shows are now aimed to educating public about protecting sea life but still done in a fun safe way. Being in southern California where its mostly always sunny, I would recommend going during the winter months since its less crowded= smaller lines also sun is not beating on you as in the summer time. Downside though is those months also mean some attractions were closed and shorter park hours. Recommend getting membership if you live close by. Get the one that includes free parking also includes free tickets.

I love how many conservation efforts sea world is making! And their shows are so fun! The summertime water/lights show looks like Aqua Iron Man and is INCREDIBLE to see in person! Strongly recommend!
