The restrooms were clean and during summer the pool is free. Really nice big pool by the way well its not small in my opinion. River has plenty of parking for fishing or biking. Very pretty park. Parking is safe but as everyone knows thieves are everywhere in San Antonio with backpacks in hand ready to smash your window and take any valuables. Take only pictures and leave only footprints big smile

1-29-20Its a nice park. There is a playground for kids and restrooms that are clean. Theres also a pool that is not used during the winter time. The park is next to the river and green way. It looks like you can rent the pavilions. Super nice park.I come here for Camp Gladiator. Its a workout program ment for everyone to do. Its all good.

Good place to start your ride or walk down the San Antonio river. Easy to get to. Could use a little TLC from the city parks department. Restrooms are not readily available or not identified.

Love the location next door but cops hella sus here becuse of whats next door. Tried to fallow me out of the park but I wasnt trying to run that day so I parked and waited another 10 minutes

First time there seems like a great place to hang out, covered tables right next to the river, cool breeze blowing thru, people need to remember to clean up after themselves

Just got back from seeing how high the water got. It just finished raining quite a bit. Water is high and moving fast. Be careful.

This room was dirty. Bed had clean sheets but the fire alarm was missing n toilet paper was stuck up in there curtains were miss matched. Roaches were coming out the wall had plastered n not paint carpet was dirty towels were gray n one was torn up n table was sticky. Plumbing was bad mirror had a phone # on there. Tv had a drink thrown at it n marks came down on the srceen n there was a broken entertain set with nothing on it but phone was in the bottom drawer n no nights stands or lamps just a fluorosis light on the celling. N we got he said the room wasnt book n charged us about 16 dollars more. Not a good place on booking had a great price wasnt given.

Love this park it has a pool and a place to walk and ride your bike.

Was in and out within my contracted time. Lady was a little aggressive at first but eventually became more customer service oriented. If you follow the rules and go by what is outlined within the contract, your wont have any issue.

Did a Catering event here in their rented building, it was very nice. Staff on site and everyone felt shape and secure. It was a great experience

Roosevelt Park is a good gathering place. There are tables & grills, a childrens playground, a rock climb & a basketball court. There are public restrooms. Bicycles are for rent. The swimming pool is open during late spring & summer. The main draw is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves... which is what a public park is for.

This Park is great for many things. You have the nature walk along the SA River and basketball courts,swimming pool and the Ambience is not as dacayed as so many other parks have become...this Park definitely has a Well deserved 5 star rating.

A good bike ride through from Confluence Park!

I love that this park is centrally located and has alot of open space for play. My toddler enjoys the playground equipment and my family enjoys playing badminton, tossing the frisbee and playing kickball in the open areas. We always run into nice and friendly families who are there enjoying the park.

The best recreation very nice everything was awesome I enjoyed my granddaughter Birthday Party would recommend it to all my Family @ Friends

Great place, needs to have less walk up from Roosevelt and policed a bit more. Few times seen people smoking drugs a far ends.

Beautiful park. Love all that is close. Golf course, railroad tracks, underpass, bike and hike trails, especially the paved sidewalks where handicap people such as I can utilize in safety and in the shade. I am a walker. I get tired, not often, but I get or run out of time, then I catch the VIA 42, 34, or one of others close by.

Needs a little more police patrolling. I go for the fishing in the San Antonio River. Its got a climbing wall, skateboard runs, picnic tables, grills, a pool (never been near the pool, just saw they had one on opposite side of park from where I fish.) Well kept, grass is fertilized and healthy, plants well taken care of. Great place for family picnics.

This park is a good distance from the street. It has two kids playgrounds and very nice open space to run or play dodgeball with friends.

We attended a baby shower here in the party room and it was great.No photos to share since it was a family event.But the facilities were more than adequate.

My family and I love this park and the river trail. Just wish the restrooms were cleaner and not as scary.

This is a great little park along the San Antonio river & mission reach. There is a nice playground, basketball court, picnic tables, and grills.

Roosevelt Park has alot of special memories for me. Its quite and peaceful.I have bad depression but a homeless black lab found me and I give believe that dog and that park help me keep me alive. Theres bar b Que grills picnic tables a place to ride bikes theres a pool there open during the Summer its a pretty descent park. I have only been there in early mornings and in the early afternoon though. It doesnt have a dog park like a fenced area for them to play or anything but its still a cool hang out.

Its a lovely park but the real stand-out is the pool. Its HUGE and built in a stadium-style enclosure. They dont make em like the used to!

Rented clubhouse for companys Christmas party and we were treated like trash by the woman in charge. Very rude and zero education. Will never come back. And will tell others about my awful experience.

Great park with lots of shaded pavilions, walking trails, benches, etc. Perfect for some exercise or a lunch break and a breath of fresh air.

Does not have enough handicapped parking so get ready to walk other than that the park was pretty clean and had a variety of things for kids to do

This is a great location to host large family and friend events.The air conditioning made this an ideal location for a large family event that never struggled to keep the large party room nice and cool. The large room was private but not secluded, cozy but full of natural sunlight. The large round tables were able to be moved into whatever configuration you can imagine. The kitchen was more than satisfactory.

Really nice park. Got picnic tables benches even grills . Mostly love the recycle bin.

I liked it. The only thing I didnt like is that at the top of every hour they make everyone get out of the pool for 15 minutes.

Would be really nice if they ever fix the swimming pool. Mayor Nirenberg doesnt seem to care much for the people of South San Antonio.

Great location & building. Our party of approximately 100 fit comfortably with a well arranged kitchen area. Also the outdoor area is well groomed and spacious for the kids to play.

Its a nice park I just dont like the amount of homeless people that hang around the pavilion, playground and restrooms. Makes it difficult to relax and let the little ones enjoy the park.

I use Roosevelt Park as my start/finish point on the Mission Reach Trail. I have always been able to find a parking place, even during Fiesta and other holidays. Its a nice park for family outings with picnic tables and big trees for shade.

It’s a nice park. The club house is beautiful and feasible for small to medium gatherings. The pool is large and family oriented. Love this place!

City of San Antonio employees, needs to chill out. They act like there SAPD, c’mon guys your a city employee not the damn DA. You got the job when you were like 19 and still there!!! Chill out don’t make us pay for you being so miserable, not our fault!!!

The park was great. Lots of big trees with lots of shade. The kids had lots of fun in the huge pool, which is free,by the way. I didnt know this. I really liked that they have a recycling bin along with the regular trash can. It has been changed drastically from many years ago I was there.

Just attended a wedding at The Roosevelt community center. It is a beautiful venue with lots of glass windows and doors to give it an open feeling. We didnt use it but there are large glass doors that open on to a spacious patio, fenced in with wrought iron. It may at times be open to the public but was reserved specifically for this event and no other guests were permitted. Nice kitchen area with easy serving facility for meals. The facility fit at least 20 tables and there was, Im guessing, about 150-200 people with enough room for a small but adequate dance floor. The wedding and reception were both held there and the outdoor landscaping was a good accompaniment for the wedding pictures. I dont know the exact price since I was just a guest there but I heard that it vey reasonable.

My dogs really enjoy this park. I love the dog height water fountains. Its adorable and functional. The only reason this park isnt 5 star is because their bathrooms look and feel like they belong in a Russian gulag. The steel toilets look like they came from a prison. The mens rooms dont even have toilet seats.

Love this park. I spend hours here every weekend!! Great for walking, biking, running....
