Its currently 12:18 am. It was scary. There was blood on the path. And lots of paranormal activities occurred. Definitely wear walking shoes. Good for group hiking.

I went yesterday with my boyfriend during sunset and we loved it. We’ve encountered spiders, and huge trust me, so many frogs and little toads, and we saw a scorpion! The trees were beautiful, but we only explored just a little, hopefully next time!

The hike was a good exercise. If you go at night go with friends and be careful stay on the path and listen for animals through the brush.

I didnt get to the lake.. it was way too hot.. but the walk way was nice and so green it was beautiful..

Dont go during the weekend too many traveling around and not so quiet.

Fond memories of this urban legend “haunted” bridge from my high school days. Yes, I had one unexplained experience here in high school, but you will have to ask me about that story in person.I was walking the Medina River Natural Area a couple of days ago (which is AWESOME) and then realized I was walking across the Donkey Lady Bridge I had visited many times in my youth.Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) you can no longer drive across the bridge. On the plus side, it is part of the greenway trails and SA Parks and Rec allows fishing from the bridge that spans the Medina River.

Omg I will never forget this day...visited in the night had a blast but if you dont have the heart for it dont go was scary went all the way through the other forbidden side

Love it beautiful peacefully and relaxing love taking the dog for a walk. They have so many trails you can walk through.

Okay I went to donkey lady bridge in San Antonio when in high school. I was scared ____less then and I was not laughing this time either. She was alive when I was a teenager now she’s doubley spooky as a ghost donkey lady. If you think your just going to see a bridge go ahead. Going in the daytime doesn’t cut it. She’s a ghost! Nighttime is best.

Its a beautiful peaceful spot. People bring their lawn chairs and fish off the bridge. Its recently been repaved and added stronger railing.

Such a tall tale. Its a simple city bridge with a beautiful river streaming under. There was nothing strange about is except for the random debris people leave behind and scattered near it. The nature itself had broken old trees, dark black wasps, plenty of mosquitos, and path covered with moss bc nobody actually really walks the trails nearby except for the gardeners. There is one impressive dark old tree that stands big and tall near the entrance on the city trail that looks to be a century or two more older then the rest of the natural trees. That was interesting because it seemed to have more stories to tell just by the size and look of it.

I love this place.it has alot of history for me back in the day I used to go swimming there but this was when there was a road running thru and over the bridge and it was open to the public.this was before it became a park its still nice to bike ride. And walks are nice.

Its cool I wish the trails ran right by the water it would be better and its better on a bike then walking the trails are paved

Great place to slow down from all busyness of life and decompress. Take a hike drop a line in the water as the day just melts away.

I just went there recently at night I was terrified and I was hearing weird cracking noises behind me and my friends. We didn’t mind it until it started to get louder and louder we took off running and got back into the car. Sounded like a scream of a wild animal we took off as we heard something hit the back of the car. I’m probably not gonna go back any time soon

Wonderful experience but need to put fish in the water. Great place to go at night and hide in the woods and scare people lol just be careful currents are always strong.

Took my teenage boys and some of his friends to experience some spooky action late one evening and turned out to be fun.

Beautiful place, but if ya go at night, expect teenagers to be screaming in the woods trying to scare people.

Lived a half a mile from this bridge. Used to camp out all over the bottom lands in the area. Heard the Donkey ladys screams and saw her shadow from our campfires as she stalked us.Also saw a few dead bodies being recovered from the river there.I really loved the serenity of this area and miss being able to hang out with my friends.The Donkey Lady, The brujas and Lechuzas all made for frightening tales in our youth.

Its quiet during the weekdays but in the weekend there is a lot of illegal fishing going on

So I went to this bridge to try a new camera out, take some photos and do a little paranormal investigating to my surprise is was a full pledge park familys with kids were fishing I was thinking this was a bridge in the middle of no where so if your going to investigate probably not the place for you if your going for a family putting this would be perfect.

One night years ago my cousin, friends and I came here and we stayed on the bridge honking and cursing at her (thats what they said to do lol). Then we got quiet and all of a sudden we heard hooves on the bridge like coming behind us, none of us looked back to see what was going on because we were already screaming and hollering to leave. My sister and another friend were waiting for us down the street we were hauling ass and screaming as we passed them up lol. It was a fun and scary experience lol.

Went there with a couple of my friends it was during witching hour when we left over there it was warm but when we got out and started walking around it got colder and heard footsteps in the woods but didnt t see anything just felt like something was following is and watching out movements
