Millers Pond Park has a beautiful pond. Its home to many types of ducks, geese, and birds. It is very well maintained, a clean pond with a walking trail around it. Its enjoyed by those who come to fish, walk their dogs, families feeding bread to ducks or to use bbq pit and picnic area. They have an active basketball court and a community center.

Beautiful Park with a walking trail around the pond. It also feels real refreshing to walk closer to night time to get that breeze coming from the pond. Also a lot of ducks every single day. The only downside to this park is the public restrooms. Theyre so disgusting and this park still has the metal toilets..

Perfect place for walking and enjoying the ducks or fishing.Has nice bathrooms and basketball court.Has a small pavilion right next to a small playland.Airplanes are constantly flying over, so thats great if you have kiddos who love watching them

I like going over there to me is peaceful relaxing and very pretty. Theres only one person I go over there with and I enjoy every minute of it. Its a stress reliever for me.

This park is filthy. Lots of trash everywhere, even next to trash bins. I saw many instances of fishing line and even hooks left on the banks or shores. Clearly the people of San Antonio dont care about their own environment or the responsibility of caring for a shared resource. I will not take my boys back, but at least had a teaching opportunity to help them understand social responsibility

I love the ducks. Its a nice place to take the family for a walk.

Area wasnt well maintained but still a pretty spot to enjoy. Great place for young kids.

Went there for the first time on Sunday the kids and I really enjoyed it. We caught 2 catfish, just so the kids can get a feel for fishing. Well definitely be back....

Parking lot is a long way from the pond. If u want to fish you better pack lite. Not impressed.

Sadly People have no respect for what they have. This is a great place but it smells horrible and trash is everywhere.

Miller pond has improved very much considering I used to go there when I was a little boy theyve done a lot of expansion and renovation to it it is a beautiful place now and theres still a lot of fish out there they started every so often and they keep it stocked but Parks and wildlife and the city of San Antonio

This place was so relaxing. I really enjoyed my day there. Planning to go back again and try some more fishing at the pond.

People have been taking more than their share of fish and its hard for others to catch. But they do a very good job with the upkeep. Its the people who need to keep their area clean.

Great for a afternoon walk or you want to take the kiddos for some quick fishing. Take some type of cover wether it’s a cap or umbrella and even a canopy. Shade is scarce and where there is it can tend to smell a bit funky.

It was a nice enough pond and free admission...but crowded as all get out. The bathrooms were good enough and plenty of tables under a larger covering. Problem was TOO MANY DUCKS! We went to fish and there were so many people trying to fish and so many freaking ducks! I saw NO ONE ANYWHERE CATCH ANYTHING. Such a waste of time.

Always enjoy taking the family out and enjoy it here. Fishing with a stocked pond always, feeding the ducks, family time, bbq, its up to you on how to enjoy it here. One time will never be enough.

Always a good place to get a good walk/run in. It’s a mile around the long path. Sunrise/sunset is always magnificent.

Nice park. Pavement could use a redo. That said, the grounds are very clean, and otherwise well maintained. Lots of people fishing, but theres enough space for everyone. A definite place to visit to fish, or walk along the nice path.

Lots of old hooks everywhere!! I got one in my shoe and my dog got one In his arm! Please be careful if you have children

Fishing is a hobbie/sport that takes skill and patience. That being said Millers Pond is a nice place for family outings and taking the kids/grandkids fishing however, I think I will be heading back to Corpus Christi for my fishing adventures. By the way do they even stock Millers Pond anymore? Not one person I spoke with has ever caught anything out of that pond.

Good place to catfish but not so great for bass fishing

I love to come fishing here its great! (If you know how to fish it and study it like I have lol). Ive caught 57 catfish and 13 bass. I usually for cats though and the limit is 5 and they have to be over 12 inches. Besides the pond the park itself is pretty nice. Theres enough space to do almost anything. I do not know too much about the programs in the building, though I know they have an inside court and I believe the do a lunch thing for kids. I havent been bothered or felt in danger so dont worry on that, everyone is usually to them selves even the ducks. However i would not recommend going to the park after hours. Very Very good place to Fish 6/25/20 For Now lots of bluegill Bass and Cat fish havent caught any trout yet but it says there out there and where stocked there some time ago (update 07/06/20 may have been overfished no one catching anything for hours last time i was here was good but a lot of people took 25 catfish with them est 200 plus .the Limit at this pond is 5 .its probably just my luck Ill keep updating since Im here almost every day

There are restrooms which are decent...there is a playground for the kids ...basketball court with a roof cover ...and plenty of ducks to feed ...the fish hardly bit but its relaxing to sit there and just enjoy the cool air

Ive heard many bad things about the pond but it honestly has great fishing I havent once left there with at least one keeper. The grounds are nice it has a goog trail and they keep it nice and clean. Thumbs up from me

Its kept relatively clean and safe, but wish that some fishing patrons would take better care in not endangering the local wildlife with dead cast-offs, trash, and tangled fishing lines.

A nice little pound by the community center. Theres a childrens playground, and bbq area. You can go fishing by the pound -- rainbow trout.

Really lovely mornings! Perfect opportunity to go out and have a great time with family. There are many ducks around.

A nice place to hide bodies

Nice little pond to relax if you get there early enough in the evening you could get a nice shady spot to cast for some catfish. But some people dont have enough respect to pickup after themselves I see alot of garbage when there is garbage cans. Would go back.

Grew up in the neighborhood. Everyones to themselves. I like it.

Renting the pavilion for my daughters party was a smooth process, and the lady who helped me at the Parks and Rec main office was very helpful on the phone and in person. The picnic tables are long enough for several people to sit but be comfortable. I like that when you rent, employees from Parks and Rec come to give it a run through by picking up trash and blowing off debris/leaves etc from tables and ground around the area. The pond, and ducks looked beautiful in the background for pictures. The playground is right next to the pavilion and the restroom is very close by. Good amount of parking spaces.

Beautiful lake for families and romantic couples. Fishing is pretty good right from the banks, mostly small perch caught. Restrooms usually clean.

Small but lovely for a nice walk on the paved trail with a pond full of ducks. I really like the bathrooms are an actual building not a port o potty.

Havent been here in years. It is nice to see all the improvements that have been done. We went early afternoon on a Saturday, didnt have any trouble finding a place to fish and the walking track is great.

Nice park, with a long and shorter path to walk on. There is also a parge pond teaming with bird-life. People often go fishing there and everyone seems to be pretty nice. Clean park for the most part. Any trash is usually from people just littering which isnt the fault of the park. But they keep it clean and always have folks put there keeping it tidy.

Great place just no soap in restrooms.

The walking trails are nice and they have a small community center and playground for the littles.I go there for fishing but no matter how many times Ive been there, I havent caught anything, nor has anyone else Ive talked to. The pond is pretty large so maybe Id have better luck if I could put a kayak or small watercraft on it. There are plenty of turtle sightings to keep the kids entertained as well as lots of ducks! They do stock the pond twice a month in the spring and summer except August. Good luck anglers!

Great park just to go fish and relax

Kids had fun doing some fishing. It also has a playground and a walking trail. There is a basketball area as well. I only gave it three stars because we did find a used needle in the grass near the he water.

Ive lived in the surrounding area for a good part of my life. My wife and I just bought a house near the pond. I enjoyed my time spent at the park. I also jog the track around the pond. The fishing was good Ill recommend it.

Beautiful place. Wildlife is amazing to look at. Tried to catch some fish but didnt have any luck that day.

Always go fishing here but never catch nothing maybe its just me LOL although they do have a park for the kids a basketball court in tennis its okay I guess good to jog around the pond

Its a nice park with a path along the entire pond. There is workout equipment around the trail so its a good place to exercise. Lot of ducks so its fun to feed them bread. Nice place to see people fish.

Nice, tiny country-like park. Small lake with ducks to amaze the little ones, fishing, jogging track complete with some exercise equipment stations and tables to enjoy family cookouts. Indoor basketball court and rec area, outdoor basketball court, baseball/softball field. Clean and well maintained.

This was our first time at Millers Pond, we got there around 8:30am. It was a beautiful peaceful morning. We didnt get any bites until right around 11:30 am and caught a fish!! It was a nice time. Loved the variety of sucks aa well
