In the heart of downtown you can sit and enjoy your time next to the beautiful Market Square where youll find plenty of food, souvenirs and culture to enjoy and learn about!! A must to provide a beautiful view for all that are here to enjoy a great time. Milan park is a stone throw away from the busy streets of down town. But a gorgeous park to enjoy.

This place is currently surrounded by street repairs and construction. Public restrooms would be amazing but I get the feeling that the portopotties on the perimeter are not temporary nor are they meant exclusively for the work crews.

It’s smack dab in the middle of the city, so don’t expect lush landscapes or anything like that. Although there are trees and some grass. There are plenty of picnic tables to eat at, and lots of benches to hang out on and enjoy being outdoors. There’s a crushed granite walking trail that goes around the edge of the park, but the park only sits on two city blocks, so it’s not really a great place to hike. More of a hang out and have lunch and enjoy the day type of place. Also a decent playground for the little ones. You can read some historic info about Ben Milam here, and check out one of the oldest former burial grounds in San Antonio. Check out the blue bench area on the east side of the park and read the information and memorial for all those that were buried there. It’s literally across the street from Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital and within walking distance from the courthouse and city hall, so it’s a good outdoor lunch hangout for those that work in the area.#SA300

A nice little park right in front of the San Antonio childrens hospital and the San Antonio market square. If youre taking a trip downtown or are tourist visiting market this is a good place to take your kids and a really good area to hang out. They have a mall nearby a huge playground they also have area you can rent a bike for a day and ride all around downtown San Antonio

Its a great park. Sure its kinda close to Haven for Hope. The park police are almost always there though. I feel for all homeless people as I have been in their shoes before. You should never look down on some one unless you are helping them up.

Nice small park. Two great playground structures. Swings are always fun. Bonus: right next to the Marcado so you can get some ice cream, candy or any kind of Mexican snacks just across the street! Little open paved area is great for little ones on bikes or scooters. Sounds nice right? It is... Except for all the bums and crazy people that also hang out there. They have never bothered my family when we are there but I am aware of them. On the plus side there always seem to be bike police visible somewhere in the area. Again just be aware but I have taken my kids there several times so I think it is alright.

My son loves our neighborhood park. Only thing is, we can only go during certain times of day. The homeless like to hang here at the tables. Nothing wrong with that except when they smoke drugs and pass out. SAPD does what they can but Ive seen alot of them dismiss the fact and keep going. The playground itself is fun and keeps the kids entertained.

Was a very nice park with even a wedding about to start in the Gazebo. Plenty of tables, shade, and a playground for kids. Only downside is you may feel uncomfortable with some of the homeless that walk around, which is countered only a little by the police presence. The park could use a little remodeling, but is okay for the most-part.
