The Alamo...the walk along the river...fantastic theaters...great weather!
I spent time here in 1973 for combat medic training. All I remember is the old ww2 wooden barracks for housing. Then I was off to fort Knox for OR training. Yes old barracks there too.
God bless the heroes
Lived here for about a year. Graduated their combat medic training, spent a few months in bull platoon, and then finished their phases 1 of nursing school.Good program, nice community, plenty of things to do.
Spent 10 months here, loved all of my time while going through the 91B course
Nice
My grandpa Jasper Lee Williams was a client here, was in a few wars! He lived his country and he Loved his family, he was such a wonderful man. Silly as could be when with his loved ones, and Protective as a T-rex. It’s still sadines me his gone, but his memory forever lives on!! Love you grandma Jasper lee Williams

I am attempting to find the correct telephone number to the Human Respurces Department, it is such a shame that none of the employees can provide this information. Also, the prices here are terribly expensive. Although there may not be a tax, AAFES charges a surcharge which equates to the same thing. WalMart and H-E-B would be your best bet for anything you need.
How do you look pretty distance from one location to another to plan a trip, and not from the location you are at, at the time?
One of the best times of my life!Ft. Sam Houston in 1975.
Peaceful place to go.
