This is a great trailhead - starting out here I walked to the end of the Salado Trailhead - it was a 9 mile round trip. I was pleasantly surprised that this trailhead is OUTSTANDING - on a Sunday morning it was pretty much empty throughout. Great scenery - tons of trees - some of the biggest oak trees that I have seen on the trailheads - I usually walk the different courses at Hardberger Park - which are some of the best trails in the city — but Lady Bird has far less people and is just as scenic as any other trailhead in San Antonio
Night walks. You get to see lots of deer. Happily, no skunks.
Its worth your time and consideration to be here.
I always enjoy my early morning walks at Lady Bird, they have scenic trailsVery relaxing and great exercise experience
Nice place for a walk
Awesome walking trail, great to walk with friends if you ever want to just take a stroll.
Did not go there
Great place to walk and or ride your bike.
Favorite trail to run, good variety of scenic routes
It is such a beautiful place to walk, ride, or run. This section of the trailhead is a 6.5 mile journey through fields of wildflowers, woods and wetlands. A mile long boardwalk, the (Morningstar boardwalk) takes you through a wetland area full of wildlife. There are always friendly travelers along the paved trail. Always safe, but just in case, 911 is acessible.
Ita a very nice park but they are all pretty nice parks, feel like hugging a tree now
Lady Bird Johnson Park has a skatepark in it a swimming pool multiple soccer fields baseball fields and as well as pavilions plenty of area to get away from people and be around people as if thats what you want either or theres also some neat things to find their if youre into exploring like the old naughty trees were some of the cliffs you can go rappelling great place to take someone on a date or to go exercise
This Greenway is one of my favorite things about living here.

Great bike trails.
Good places fo kids to hangout
Great park that now has a kids playground! Theres no bathrooms nearby, but its pretty nice. Theres also a pool, skate park, sports fields, and lots of picnic tables with grills. The trail access is tucked in the back of the park way behind the pool and skate park. Theres a low crossing on the pedestrian trail access that floods when theres even minor flooding in the area.
My old stomping grounds. This was one of my go to hideaways in high school during classes. If you catch my drift lol.
The trail is relaxing if you have experience with trails.
Decent walk great for biking lots of weird pipelines though which takes away from nature experience
Quite and beautiful place walking....

Great place to walk, run, cycle
Life is a blessing great to take lunch out here and enjoy.
This is one of the few Salado Creek Greenway Trail trailheads with parking in the shade. There is a water fountain with a bowl at the bottom for your dog. The rest of the park includes a dog park, ball fields, skateboard park and a pool.
