This is a great place for a short hike or a long walk. The playground has a rock wall as well as a little slide set. The tower is a great place to look out over the city.

Great hiking trails with beautiful scenery. There are also picnic areas, a playground, and camping sites. This park is also dog-friendly. It gets busier over the weekends so if you plan to go during that time, I would suggest going early in the morning.

My favorite park in SA, to be sure. If you arent familiar, make sure to take a photo of the map before you pick a trail as there are no GPS markers out there and the trails arent mapped on Google maps or the like. Taking water and being aware that the paved sunny trails can quickly burn your puppers toe beans are the best tips I can really provide. A stunning little haven of a park, something to truly revel in.

Great place to hike, though they added more fencing around the park which shortened some trails [around the perimeter, which I liked to do as that is a 5+ mile hike] some parts are paved, some are like real trails. Not that much elevations, but still a good incline in some area. A lot of loose stones which are trip hazards so be careful if you go running. Easy to follow path markers.

Great place for a run. Wide variety of trail levels. From smooth wide paved path, to rocky, steep, singletrack. Me and my doggy love going running here. They also have one of the best views in San Antonio (though that view is right outside the park and you may have to go looking for it ;)

Its good :) theres a couple of trails that are good. Theres flat trails and others that go up and down hill. For some trails theres small rocks and big jagged rocks. Theres a playground by the parking lot and restrooms. The ones at the top of the hill dont have any light so youll need a flashlight to see, they have toilet paper.I always see people running and walking these trails with their pets and their families :)But remember to bring a water bowl and water bottles for yourself and pets because pets are important :) dont dehydrate them :3Alright guys, have a nice hike!

Nice walking or hiking park. No bikes or skateboards allowed. Plenty of paved paths and natural hiking trails. Sign are posted alongside the paved paths. Took the yuca paved and natural hiking path. A few oak trees but mostly cedar populated along most paths. Nicely kept and recommended for walking or running or hiking.

One of the best hiking experiences in San Antonio. Its about 10-20 minute drive from any direction near Shavano park area. The skill levels are easy, medium and difficult. Cant wait for the watch tower to be completed. Currently rebuilding. Best terrain for animals and people. If you want an experience to make memories with the family, Eisenhower park is the place to go. Absolutely love it!! Get your run on! If youre engaged and looking to go military...this is the place to train! Cant wait to go back...

It was a beautifal day. Very nice walking trails were available, both paved and unpaved. Some rude dog owners bagged up their dogs feces and then left those bags on the trail. Why bother at all with bagging it up if you are not going to carry it to a trashcan? The overlook is closed for repair at the moment. Saw a nice Ford when we left.

For a park in the city limits this one is pretty good. Challenging walk when you do the Hillview natural trail which is 2.43 miles. I add in the Red Oak natural and Hillview paved to make it around 3 miles. The Observation Tower is closed right now until they renovate it. Ive been here several times and it never seems overly crowded on the trails I take. A lot of people stay on the paved Cedar Flats trail.

Great place to take a hike! This was my first time out at Eisenhower park and was treated to the trails. I was mislead into thinking that we were going to do, Something easy. Hill country Trail #4 isnt arduous but, it isnt a stroll on pavement either. We missed our exit and ended up turning it into a 5 mile hike instead of 4. Good cardio and workout for my short legs!

This is a great park. It has a 2.9paved area if you dont like rocks and off road trails, but that is why you go here. They have places to cook and even on the trails you can cook. There is always alot of people their and always nice. I love running here tough but rewarding as you have a 600ft elevation change. Kid friendly, bathrooms, covered areas. Your out with nature.

Probably one of my favorite parks in the city. Located on the north side of San Antonio, just north of Shavano Park and right before you run into Camp Bullis. Lots of parking and even handicap parking is accessible. Clearly mapped routes throughout the trails. Great views, too! Our new hobby on the weekends! The earlier you go the better as it is a favorite amongst locals.

If you want to see the farthest points in the park (beautiful Hill country sights!), I strongly recommend picking up a map on your way in, and knowing how to read it.-Bring a water bottle (I prefer a 32oz Nalgiene bottle).-Wear good fitting shoes (that wont cause blisters).Basic stuff for the outdoorsy types, but its worth saying it again.
