I have always loved witness tree. Its heartbreaking to see an empty vineyard as historic as Witness Tree. I will miss Hanson, chainsaw, great wines by great people

Sadly the vineyard and winemaking facility has been sold to investors. The tasti g room remains open until early November--call for updates. In the meantime there are extraordinary specials offers including the lovely 2012 estate pinot for $180 a case as well as magnums of pinot reaching back to the 2000 vintage.

Very good wine and the most friendly and accomodating staff. Both times I have visited here showed up right at even a little after closing, they took extra time to allow the tasting and explained everything about their location and operation.
