This is a great neighborhood park! Its right next to an elementary school so theres other play equipment close by as well. Quiet and friendly neighborhood and easily walkable. Theres a field for games or letting your toddler practice their walking skills. A paved walking trail goes all the way around park and there are some very short wooded trails at the adjacent green space. The two play structures are in great condition and set up for a variety of ages. There is a smaller play set for younger kids, under 5 years old. There seems to be a splash pad, but it is not operational currently, probably due to covid19. There are trees for shade and tables and benches. There is also a half court basketball goal and a place to lock your bike. The only major thing missing here is a public restroom, so this cuts our time here short sometimes. This is a great park for families with young kids.
Nice CLEAN place. Grandkids love it. Lots to do there.
Great small park! There is a play area for smaller children aged 2-5 and then the other is for big kids aged 5-12. You can take your dogs to enjoy the park too.
Great park...kids just bummed that water is turned off due to Covid...especially during the hot days that weve had this summer.
Great little/big park. Three separate play structures, each catering to different age groups. All will kept and safe.... Meaning no exposed concrete pilings, non-splintering bark dust.A paved trail encircles the green area. Its completely possible to get your laps in, all the while keeping an eye on the little ones. Great for a quick workout for both parents and children. The water works in the summer are a treat in those hot days, however, shade is at a premium so wear a hat/bring a lawn umbrella.Parking can be limited along the curb. Ive always managed a spot, but something to keep in mind. The large green area encircled by the path is great for toys, tag, radio-controlled fun. The grass is well kept, verdant and flat.
Good park. Good area. Play structures for 2-5 and 5-10. Clean and well maintained
Nice quiet neighborhood park with really nice play structures for the kiddos.
Great little park. No swings, but two sets of equipment. One for smaller children and larger children.
My Kids love this park close to our home
Great park with nice path around park and down around school field. Playground equipment and two dog stations. Say hi to Leo the friendly apricot poodle if you see him .
Nice park...No restrooms tho... Only one picnic table
Great place to let the kids run around
Very nice local park... playground and walking path, with benches and picnic tables.
A beautiful park, amazing splash pads with lots of sprayers, and park benches close to where the kids play. Age appropriate playground equipment for toddlers and bigger kids. Id give 5 stars, but parking is on the street and residential. It can be tough to find!
Great nice park with lots of playgrounds to choose from
A nice place to spend time with kids.
Smaller playground for little ones. Nice walkways for dogs. Sweet neighborhood park.
A great park! My kids love it! We love going to Wes Bennett to play in the splash pad in the summer too. It can get a little crowded when neighborhood day cares show up with tons of kids and only a few adults to watch them but if you can avoid that its great! Its pretty and has two playgrounds and a splash pad. Awesome
Love this park. Could use year round restrooms.
A great park. Theres a nice playground for toddler aged kids, a sweet playground for bigger kids, a splash pad, plenty of benches, a water fountain, a small walking trail and a porta-potty. Theres also easy access to Pringle Elementary playgrounds which are fun to enjoy when schools not in session. My only complaint is that the parking situation is not ideal. If school is out though, you can always park at the elementary school and walk over.
I love that the splash pad and the play yard are right next to the other. Beautiful grounds, plenty of trees and out of the way of mainstream.
We love this park! But this last time we went we found an animal trap right out in the open next to the wooded area, the kind that snaps on the leg of the animal and we had to call the police to come remove it and look to see if there we any more so no dogs or kids would get hurt!
Great place
Very little parking, Thought the kids would want to stay longer, very small water area, it does cool them off
A great little park. I really enjoy taking my kids there. I am looking forward to using the splash park this summer.
Its a very nice place with a spashpad and a decant sized playground. Me and my brothers really enjoyed it.
Age appropriate play sets and the kids love the water section. Just wish they had a regular bathroom.
Love the park just wish they had a bathroom that was closer and wasnt a porta potty
Its perfect for the kids to run and play! Also in the summer they have a great little water park for the kids to cool off in!
Splash pad, basketball hoop, picnic tables, grassy field. No bathroom.
Lovely place to be no matter the season!
Nice open grassy spaces with a decent splash pad. The multi-sized playground equipment is helpful too!
2nd time for our Granddaughters birthday, first come first serve but great place
Really, really nice! Lots of great play equipment, shade trees, expansive lawn areas, summer water shower area for fun and cooling off and plenty of bench seating. Wonderful place to burn off kids abundant energy!
Beautiful park, awesome views with autumns colors
Great place to take the kiddos. Quiet and not busy, right next to a school with playgrounds as well. They have a larger structure for older kids and a smaller one for littles. Plus in the summer they have the splash pad m we love it here
I love the splash fountain at this park on hot days. The kids also love the 2 playgrounds. We even had my daughters birthday party here. Just wish it had better bathrooms available.
Very good for the kids, great grass to sit in for a picnick
Lots of shade for parents and the splash pad is next to the park so kids and cool down and go back to playing! Finding parking can be an issue though.
Great little community park!
Nice small neighborhood park. Pet and kid friendly.
Kids love the splash pad. Turns off at 8pm though
Very nice public park that was built only a few years ago. It has a nice water feature that comes on during the summer, two nice playground pieces, one smaller for younger kids, and one larger for older kids. It also has a single basketball hoop with a nice half-court. The park has a walkway around its entirety, and a cool small forest walk too. Overall a fantastic community park.
Well kept and clean. Safe, homie residential environment next to a school.
A very nice small park
Nice park with walking areas. Good for kids
What a little gem of a park... great for kiddos!
Good little park. Could use a bit more equipment but not bad given the amount of available space.
This is a great park. There are two playgrounds, basketball hoops, and a water splash pad.
Well maintained with water sprinklers in summer for kids.
We love this park. The play structure and spray ground are well kept. Nice quiet area to take the kids.
Nice park with limited parking. The entire nearby neighbourhood is filed with Dont park here signs. The neighbors clearly dont want non locals using their park.
I, along with my family honestly enjoy this park! We go there often and the kids are always able to explore and get creative. The only thing stoping me from making it 5 stats is the absence of a provided BBQ grill. Not necessity, I know but wouldnt make it very useful and I feel would be efficient to have one or two, free:-).
This park has everything Im looking for in a park, open space for kite or drone, several play structures and neat paths through a wooded area. Its especially nice because its shaded in the summer afternoons. It also has a splash pad. The downsides are parking can be tricky sometimes as there are many signs that say no parking for Park use and the only restroom is a porta potty. Also works really well for us as were traveling through Salem fairly often and can get on and off five quickly into this park.
One of my favorite parks to take my grandchild to.
Areas to play for those 2-5 and another area for bigger kids. In summer, there is a splash pad. Also a grassy areas. A few trees for shade. No bathrooms which is a negative
We like the little grove of trees to walk through
The play equipment is very nice and the splash fountain is nice. However, there is no covered area and there needs to have more tables and benches
This is such a fabulous fun family park. The park has two cute playgrounds for younger and elementary age children, lots of benches for the adults, one large picnic table and one small picnic table, neither are covered though. There are fun forest like paths around the perimiter for imaginary play. Also a splash pad and a large open field. Its adjacent to Pringle Elementary which has three additional playgrounds and a walking track. The only downside is there are no bathrooms, just a port-a-potty.
Kids love it
No swings
Limited parking but the kids love it
Fun but not much parking
Well maintained park, never any trash or overgrowth. Theres no rental of it, so you might run into multiple birthdays on weekends which makes an all ready crowded park even more crowded.
Great Park plenty things to do
Its a bit small, but there is a great play structure for kids and a water sprayer.
NICE SPOT #WHERESTHESWINGS
Nice park for all ages poop bags for dogs and please keep your dog on a leash
Always do kids birthday party’s here. Always packed during summer though.
Awesome water park for kids in summer
Sweet park! Nice field for sports, great play ground that is separated into lil ones & bigger kids. The spray park is a summer time favorite as well. Great place for a BBQ & some shade for those hot summer days. The one Porta-potty has always been clean when I have been there. Behind the park is a trail that connects to a neighbor walking path & adjacent elementary school, with an additional play structure open in the evenings & on weekends. Parking can be a bear, so if youre packing a lot of stuff to the park for an event I would suggest brining a rolling cart.
Great park just needs better restroom accommodations.
Clean, family friendly, great for kids of all ages, splash pad during summer, plenty of benches to sit! Love this place & so do my kids!
Had grand daughters preschool graduation there..it was fun
Nice park during the summer time they have water fountains in the summer porta potty bathroom.
Wonderful series of playgrounds.
Fun great water fountains for kids to play in and lots of equipment. Parking very limited!!!!
Standard park. Good field for sports, water play stuff for kids, two playsets. Nice place to walk in the woods!
Nice, clean little park behind pringle elementary school. it has a water splash pad that kids can play in during the summer.
Clean and small. Nice side trails in the woods. Doggie poop bags
A very nice park but too many people unleash their dogs. Not everyone is a dog lover.
Great family park, in a nice neighborhood. During the summer, the splash pad helps keep everyone nice and cool.
Great park also has a dog park and a lake great place to take the kids
Wonderful park for kids with a good amount of parking if you use the schools lit behind park.Very busy place in summer. Also,in summer the splash pads open and becomes a great place to cool off
I love talking always a great place for the kids to cool off without going out of town
Go earlier in the day for the splash pad, its shaded in the evening
Was good lots of shady only problem was shade too much shade lots of shade too much Shade
Beautiful park. You have to park on the road but well worth it.
I will get the info for. Q
Nice neighborhood park
Fun n safe place for the kids to play, and t love the water features
Nice park but very small with few amenities.
The water pressure was super low theres a maintenance guy there from the City of Salem instead of fixing the pressure for the water park he made it worse there was a lady there that doesnt know how to control her kids had my daughter pushed off the top of the slide tumbled all the way down not a very pleasant visit
The parking is poor, but my kids have always loved this park.
