The beach is phenomenal. A magnificent park on the coast, with lots of food choices to grab a bite. Plenty of parking. If you bring your dog, keep them leashed and you both will be happy.Ive come to the Willows for over 40yrs and while it used to be a whole lot funner when there were amusement rides and arcades but at least most of the food still exists... Phew-

I just love this park. One of my favorite places to grab a sandwich and just watch the beauty all around you. Really good fried seafood and the popcorn shack is always worth a visit.

This will always be a go to spot for me. Its well kept and inviting. During the fall and winter I like to just go relax and read my book. Parents should bring their children along with bicycles to ride along pathways far from cars. Walk along small beaches, maybe find a shell or two.

Absolutely love this place. Beautiful park, places to eat, got your own little beach area with huge rocks so you can go explore on the rocks catch some little crabbies just had a nice date with my fiance there today!!definitely a cute little area to stop by while youre in Salem or Peabody or just to visit

This place was beautiful. We had fun the kids collected sea shells and the view was stunning. The only drawback was we got run out by a family of skunks . There was about 5 and they were definitely not afraid of humans.

Its beautiful. Plenty on places to get to the water. Big grassy fields to picnic. Food shops and public restrooms.

Great day with close family and friends but the public bathrooms were so gross feces was on the walls of 2 the bathroom stalls, the handicap stall door didnt close had to have a friend hold it shut for me and there was no soap in any of the dispensers so no way to properly wash ones hands. Seriously during a pandemic when washing our hands is actually one of the best ways to stop the spreading of the virus

Great place to bring family! The beach is small but there is still lots to do. No shopping but there are a couple of food and ice cream places, and they have an arcade(currently closed due to covid)

Not many willows. However the atmosphere was definitely lively there. Great for picnic, bbq or just for a walk...

Nice little place. Probably more fun in super when the small arcade opens. Enjoyable walk.

Perfect spot to have lunch. Food stands/restaurants werent open when we went, but we got good takeout in town and it was a short drive.

Amazing outdoor park with a variety for families from beach, tennis, picnic areas, amusement & arcade, very scenic and relaxing. Food ranging from popcorn, pizza, Chinese food to a fried clam place. Access to boats and water. Great spot!

The beautiful trees give so much shade and views are outstanding. Ive been going to the Willows for over 50 yrs. I really wish they would update the area with the various foods. It looks so run-down. I must say the Clam Shack near the water, has some of the most delicious seafood...at great prices!! The staff are really friendly and helpful also! The Willows is a place for making memories and I will always go there

Free parking good fishing small nice beach small food plaza across the street. Near the edge where people fish there are rocks to sit on for a good view and also good place to take pictures.

Love going to Salem Willows plenty of space to spread out and picnic blanket or use their picnic tables or sit on a bench and watch the boats go by. I highly recommend for families with young children as they have amusements and arcades there is also a small Beach and you can rent paddle boards. There is many different types of food to choose from; seafood, Chinese food,popcorn, popcorn bars, taffy, ice cream (soft serve, hard ice cream). Youll come for the day and return for a lifetime

Normally this place full of nostalgia from the old arcades to the old water boat rides the mini golf course the salt water taffy The chop suey sandwich its just amazing fantastic place to have a cookout and one of the covered area in the park.. they have a small concert stageits normally pretty packed during the summer time when there isnt a pandemic going on. I recommend you checking it out when all this has subsided you wont be disappointed

Salem Willows Park, for the last 35 years that I can remember. Has always been a clean, safe, and fun environment. At the time of this posting my most recent visit was early morning weekend, there was plenty of parking in the area near the field that we were visiting and the grounds were very well kept. People from other groups were following all covid-19 guidelines When approaching people and generally being decent human beings.

Water front is beautiful but the park itself was dirty. There were people without their masks on and not police or security around to implement the law. Make sure you go to the bathroom beforehand!

My first time visiting, and it was really nice. Two beaches for swimming & sunbathing, the usual beach food (pizza, icecream, burgers & two Chinese food spots), plenty of benches to sit and look out over the water, picnic tables, and even public restrooms that were relatively clean considering it was a fairly busy Saturday afternoon. Theres also free parking, and some metered parking thats closer to the food/arcade area.

Coast to coast paddles. You bet fun on the water. Dont miss out. After hit up clamshack

Beautiful place, clean and family oriented. Even during COVID-19 you could enjoy a little nature. The kids loved the cold beach. Parking is a little on demand, so be patient. Strangelly, there were a few dogs bathing on the beach, even going close to other people and kinds bathing, that is not allowed...be careful.

Loved the classic arcade and seaside views. Such a great spot for families, couples, students--basically everyone! Lots of typical boardwalk junk food, from soft serve to Chinese takeout. The arcade itself also has a little restaurant with pizza and other fast food. A highlight of my trip to Salem!

I grew up going to the Willows. Its a beautiful rest area for city dwellers. Lots of picnic spots next to the ocean.

Beautiful park with many delicious outside dining options. Parking is tricky. I rode my bike to avoid hassle. Beautiful big bike lanes on the way there.

Nice old fashioned summer day out with the family. Lots of cute food stands a small arcade small rides for kids.. open greenery for bbqing viewing the beach. And best of all free parking!

I practically grew up here, Friday nights in the summer at the arcades, family picnics. The place has barely changed and for once, thats not a bad thing.

I visited there since I was a child that holds many memories for me and now my children are going there and making great memories wonderful place which it was open

Ive been visiting this place since I was a kid. Its still kept very clean and while the arcade isnt open right now, it was lovely to be able to sit by the water and eat lunch with friends.

Clam shack and ice creams for the win! Seafood is always fresh and delicious! Beware of seagulls they will steal food right out of your hand!

Such a beautiful place to visit when you are in Salem. The views and the parkland are beautiful. The water surrounds it so much that it feels like you are on a tiny headland and the homes that surround the water are stunning.The sweet making shop sell the best sweets. Theres a fast food diner where you can buy takeaway pizza slices or chips err sorry fries etc.We will probably come here everytime everytime we visit from England to see our daughter.Our daughter does her morning run here

Just as it says great place for a daytrip as a date or with friends and family. Currently only a few of the food stores are open and the amusement/ arcade parts are closed. Just getting to walk around on a nice day is helpful to cure the stir crazy from staying at home.

Fun, food, games, beach, and beautiful views of the harbor . Plenty of benches and picnic tables. Lots of shade trees and cooling breezes off the water. We went on a 90 degree day with high humidity, and were comfortable enough to sit and watch the boats for hours. The arcade includes lots of things to eat, and many games to play. Liked it so much, we went back the next day.

Love it here, I grew up going here and bring my kids now. Lots of space for running around.

Camping, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, beach tanning, swimming, picnicking, bike trails, BBQ areas, bathrooms, rinse off area benches, covered pavilion. Theres a lot to do including watching the boats pass by. The Schooner Fame passed by while I was writing this on a nice summer day.

Good atmosphere, but prices for everything slowly creeping up. At some point it wont be worth it.

Seasonal place. Eateries and arcade open at 11. Great place for kids to run around and have fun. There is a field and basketball courts. You can bring your own grill and tables and spend some time enjoying the arcades and beach or you can purchase some of the local restaurant food and enjoy the convenience of the many tables available. The seagulls are a little outrageous however, as many people feed them. They are actually quite aggressive and will come behind you and take food right from your table. You can rent kayaks right on the beach as well. Great place to watch the sunset while enjoying Hobbs famous popcorn and ice cream!

It is such a great place but even though there is a mandatory mask requirement most people dont wear masks and keep adequate distance.

Absolutely beautiful except all of the trash on the waterside. I only saw 1 barrel with the overflow of trash laying everywhere on the ground.

This is a stuck in time little retro strip filled with food shops and a really big arcade. Great big park picnic area and an ocean view. Great place to bring the kids for a few hours of fun.

Nice place for a family to hang out...you can bring your own food and theres so much chairs and benches to sit on. Parking is per meter 25cents per hour(nothing can beat that)

We went to visit my mother-in-law, and the 3 of us went to Salem Willows for chop suey sandwiches and pepper steak sandwiches at Salem Lowes. They were delicious as always!!
