Awesome Memorial Day weekend deals! $10 for five glasses! It was so nice to sit and sip on a glass of wine and enjoy the view. I left with two bottles. I highly recommend this winery for tasting. The wine is excellent!

Crazy this vineyard is only 15 min from downtown Salem. You could hear the birds and the wind blowing! They have an amazing view of the valley and their grapes.

We had a pleasant experience here today. Larry was very knowledgeable and generous with the wines we tasted. I just had to buy a bottle of the rosé, it was delicious!

Stangeland makes a darn good Tempranillo and Tempranillo rose! The owner, Larry, is a really nice gentleman and when tasting is allowed, they’re very generous with letting you try pretty much whatever they have open that day! Can’t wait to get back there when wine tasting is open again!

I really enjoyed their Eola-Amity Tempranillo sourced from Greenwood Vineyard about 2mi away. Also their Chardonnay is from plants brought to Oregon by David Lett in the late 70s. Barrel-fermented and kept in neutral oak sur-lie. Love it! Their Pinot Noir carried pedigree and taste akin to some of the finest villages or premier cru Red Burgundy.

On a rainy April day, Larry ( Owner / Winemaker ) and I had the place to ourselves, and he was very generous with his time as he described the history of winemaking in the area and of his vineyard in particular. The 2017 Pinot Noir ( Eola Hills Cuvee ) is simply amazing; smooth and full-bodied, earthy with distinct cherry notes but without excess ‘minerality’,. Great price-point, too. I will be back for more !

Amazing vineyard and winery. Not your typical watered down Willamette Valley juice. Big bold award winning Pinot Noirs, dry to off dry whites, high scoring Chardonnays. One of the valleys early vineyards. A must stop while doing a wine tour.

The man serving the wine was super friendly and they had a huge range (10 bottles) on the tasting menu. On top of that, the wines run the gamut in price and quality. We easily found several wines worth buying at the offered price point. There were a few wines out of the ten that were forgettable, but a few gems as well. The ice wine, in particular, was a nice change up from other vineyards we visited in Willamette Valley.
