This park is so lovely, especially for something tucked in the middle of the city. The trees and plants are gorgeous, and theres an adorable greenhouse with fun plants. Lovely place!

A bit of peace and beauty right in the action! With shaded areas to sit, beautiful variety to take in as far as plant life, and some wildlife to entertain it really is worth the stop. Ive been here repeatedly and never regretted it. It is easy to slow down and unwind as you forget youre blocks from the hospital, right off of a major thoroughfare, and in walking to some great food as well when youre done taking in the natural beauty.

Very pretty roses with a cute gazebo. Great for getting outdoors for free. It’s on the edge of a large park, there’s bathrooms nearby and parking was easy if it’s not busy.

Fantastic rose garden with thousands of blooms in the summer. A really special place on a nice afternoon. Donate and pay your taxes and this place will be great for a long time. Also walk over to the bush house green house to see some more interesting plants for free. Enjoy your parks and be respectful.

This place is huge! Great for people that like to walk around and stretch their legs. They have a really good grass area for a picnic. The kids park is small but its good for little kids. There are tons and tons of gray squirrels. These people are obviously feeding them. I probably seen 100 walking through the park. Theres lots of places where its shaded and others where you can sunbathe. Theres also a museum at this park, I didnt go there but I thought that was really neat. I definitely will be back again walking with my friends family and my dog :-)

Very nice place to picnic or take your dog or your kids. There are some homeless people around but they dont usually bother people and if they do just be respectful and everything will be fine.Just tell them you dont have anything they ask for and that will be that.

I have been coming here for 50 years . Outstanding if you have lots of time to make memories and a minimal budget! The roses are wonderful, fragrant but not overpowering, and theres just the right amount. Take time to check it out and you will find reasons of your own to love it as much as I do.Three different Childrens play areas, what I consider a lovers bridge hiden at one end, the conservatory is free, hills to run up and roll down, polite dog owners who know to keep dogs leashed allow occasional petting. If you are feeling adventurous you can walk from the park to deepwoods and back! It is easy to spend the whole day and still find new things to explore next time. Websites give you the amenities-i am saying its a whole different world.
