It was good but the water too cold...

I think Water Country offers more but my daughter and I enjoyed our time. The lagoon was the best part. Just floating along with the waves was fun. Only issue with the lagoon was a section at the end of the entrance where the water backwashes into a culvert under a statue. People did get stuck for a moment, so, if you have small kids, you may want to watch them. Nice locker rooms.

The addition to the waterpark is not impressive. The Covid rules were not thought out very well. Huge lines at each ride, then people are separated on the ride. Whales Tail in New Hampshire is the best waterpark but its a waterpark exclusively. No other rides.

Prices are expensive but it was a blast! Really enjoyed the water park, adults and children alike! Would recommend and will be returning! We visited on one of the hottest days of the summer and the only bad thing I could say was walking around in the water park with no shoes on sucked because the ground was so hot you had to practically run. Great experience other than burning feet!

My family and I loved the lazy river, and found the Rain Fortress very fun and interactive.

Nice brand new Water Park still has more water rides 2 add....but over all had a great time there!! Amusement Park had plenty of rides & other things 2 do. Variety of places of food 2 eat right near the water area & more by the Amusement Park.

Love the new water island but becomes very crowded

The new water park area at Canobie Lake park is really nice. The Monkey Bar that is located right along the Lazy River is a perfect spot to sit and watch the kids if they dont need parental assistance in the water. The kids had a great time but it definitely got crowded as the day went on.

If you wanna get back at your kid for acting like a jerk just hold him or her up while youre in line for the Boston tea party ride. Youll get it once you see whats going on. Absolutely worth it. Also the jungle gym is great for blasting people with water when they least expect it. Overall: you bet your sweet puppies Im coming back.

I can’t say anything about the actual water activities, but i went to eat at one of the restaurants and one of the items was this chicken tender “covered in jalapeño mango sauce.” there was no regular buffalo chicken so i just went with that. when i got it it didn’t look too bad, but when i took a bite i realized that it was just chicken tenders covered in sweet and sour sauce. the taste wasn’t bad, it just kinda irked me that they lied about what the sauce was.

Except for kids whose parents didnt teach them to be polite and not cut in line, this was the most sustained fun in the park. I could see spending many hot hours here if we were locals.

The tidal river is fantastic! Fun for everyone! I also loved the Monkey Bar and the Outrigger Grille. It’s such a nice set up! We will definitely go back!

The new water park is exactly what this place needed!! A great place for family fun!! My only suggestion... BUY THE SOUVENIR CUP!! Its 99cent refills. For any drink. Otherwise, There is no drink under $3. Including water. It was just too late when i realized how much money i COULD have saved if I just bought the cup in the first place!!

As a parent of a 6 and 8 y/o, this water park was pretty nice. Theres a good amount that young, smaller kids can take part in... including pretty decent water slides. The wave river is awesome and my kids must have gone around it 12 times or more during our visit. Also the Monkey Bar is right in the middle of it all, and was a great spot to relax with a drink while people watching. Ill definitely be back!

So much fun. My husband is not the type to go into any pool. He was able to enjoy the pool there. We had a blast.

The new lazy river was great and the water was warmer than the older section. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that, due to it being new, it was so crowded. I constantly ran into people by accident, or got ran into. Didnt even bother with the water slides as the line went from the top all the way down to the bottom and didnt look like it was moving fast. If you dont mind that though, it is pretty great.

Love the new renovations much more room and things to do family friendly and adult if you want to have a adult beverage well they now serve them there lots new restaurants all-around great.

I was not feeling the new expansion like others were in the reviews. The tide pool/lazy river was incredibly over crowded and felt like I had to project my family constantly from kids and unaware adults banging around. The line for the slides were close to an hour and a no go, and overall just very overcrowded.For at least the under 10 crowd the original water park was a better option, but those slides need to be redone (one had people constantly getting stuck regardless of age/height/weight etc.. at the top)

Overall, Castaway island was super fun. The tidal river is fantastic and theres plenty of slides and fun stuff for the kids to do. And theres a bar! Total bonus.We definitely timed it wrong but thats our own fault. We did the waterpark in the morning (it really wasnt hot enough for it yet) and all the park lines were super short. Then after lunch (when we were all changed and dry) it was broiling hot and all the park lines were JAMMED. Again, totally my own fault.

They have frozen alcoholic drinks! Also, the river is so fast and fun! Not enough seating, or places to put your stuff while youre swimming, but thats not too important when you have a frozen margarita!

Cant really say to much about this place bc we were only here + Canobie Lake for 1 hour b4 the park got closed down do to intense storms. The up side about it was it cost 8 of us $300 to get in + they gave us back a full refund! So they do, do that!

It was really great experience with the kiddo! She enjoyed the kid pools and the lazy river. Great thing was you didnt have to pay extra to get into the water from canobie lake park! Really look forward to going again next year :-)

Nice setting, bar for adults, cabanas that you can rent and surprisingly decent food.

My son and I could go down the same slides and the water was great

There should be a max capacity for castaway island. Horribly overpacked, lockers were full, no where to put your stuff or sit and enjoy the place... it honestly should of been a bigger. They did good this year though, very crowded compared to previous years. But still a little disappointed

Fun time for whole family

As much as I enjoyed myself, I have 1 problem. The lazy river should be tubes only. Swimmers are a hazard to themselves. I dont know how many kids I saw go under tubes, or get runned down under water. Totally unsafe.

Good atractions, but specially in weekends too many people gets in, and its almost impossible to find a chair, not to say a shadow......
