Cute statue of Samantha (Elizabeth McGovern)!! Great for photo ops!!
I remember watching the Bewitch Salem episodes when I was a kid. I loved that show and those particular episodes. It took me fifty years to get here to see it.Huge crush on Elizabeth Montgomery.Admittedly it’s not a notable sculpture but it sure was fun to find and see it.
Lovely stop spot.
Main attraction in Salem. A must visit location if ever in Salem. Right in the heart of all the busy stores in Salem.
Great area to walk around plenty of food places and sight to see in the area and the bewitched statue is one of the cooler sights to see. Gets lots of attention when its nice out good place to start walking around town and seeing everything.
I recognized Elizabeth Montgomery before I saw the plaque so it was a befitting memorial for lack of a better word. It was truly a pleasure to visit the historic city of Boston.
Yep, its a sculpture... Stop and take your picture. The area behind the sculpture is nice and shaded by trees. Almost like a little park. Therere three restaurants right in that nook with outdoor seating.
Very historic Salem Massachusetts what a beautiful place so rich in history and so many things to do!!!!
They did a great job.. its getting old now.. but its still great, and during the Holidays, they put our Holiday tree there, for all to see!
Fun! Brought back childhood memories .
Loved the tv show Bewitched. Really liked the sculpture. Something light-hearted in the midst of all the awful witch history.
She is the best ever my favorite TV show of all time will away hold still picture and never and never get mad that you taking forever to get a picture she the best in the world
Who didnt love Bewitched? Great show. Imagination walking to the store or work and passing that statue almost every day and not thinking about it much. Now I am out of Massachusetts and will have to go back and actually do the tourist thing and take a picture of that statue and a few more places. Miss Salem, MA.
I found a purple whistle here. It made me very happy.
Although the statue is not as appealing as the original actress its the heart of the downtown Essex area. The area can be a bit of a tourist trap especially in October but there is a great selection of trendy restaurants and bars.
Salem, picturesque little town, I would avoid it in October. Its simply too crowded, and parking is scarce.
Had my picture taken there with Samantha that is a great tribute to the actor in a very appropriate town
Neat sculpture. Very crowded! Hard to get a picture without someone climbing on it.
Okay so Samantha is a fictional Witch, not like that hasnt happened before. I love that Salem embraced Bewitched and put Samantha front and center. A great City and fun place to visit. Samantha was a Good Witch and where else can you find one of those but in Salem.
Easy to get to from train station and central location to all events.
Its pretty cool that this statue was gifted to Salem. For Pokemon Go players its a highly contested Gym smack dab in downtown Salem.
Completely unexpected to see this in Salem, but its super cool.
Always a fun little stop in downtown Salem
Great spot always stop there to take a picture
Everyone watched Bewitched in its day so it was nice to visit the sculpture .
Always controversial with the locals (15 years and running) but a hit with the tourists & school kids. After all...Minneapolis-St. Paul has Mary Tyler Moore...and,its FREE!
An amazing tribute to the late, great Elizabeth Mongomery
Hate this thing.Love SalemActually like the Bewitched show and movie. The two things have nothing to do with each other. The show has nothing to do with Salem nor does it reflect anything of the wiccan religion. Just annoying.
Love the show? If yes its great photo opportunity.
It was awesome October 31st, 2019
Great place for a photo opp!
Its a statue.. they did a great job. Its a nice little area to sit out in the summer. Also there is a lending library almost by Gulu Gulu Cafe.
It was great...lived that show... especially those episodes in Salem...
One of my favorite shows growing up
Neat little park. Hard to get a good picture depending on the sun
Lots of people love this statue!
This sculpture tells an interesting story about the townspeople that I didnt know before.
Really good detailed statue
Amazing stories fun to learn about
Just like I remember
As a kid I watched Bewitched and really enjoyed the show. A friend and I randomly found this statue and were very excited. If youre in Salem you need to take a picture here.
When in Salem ya gotta stop by your favorite nose wiggling witch.
Nothing to do with salem but cool
Nice Place to Be
I love this super cute statue, its how I know that ive arrived in Salem!!!
Beautiful downtown area, very touristy.
Brings back memories
We try to get a new pic here every year we come!!
Beautiful statue, a must see when you come to Salem!
What do you say ? Its the real deal
We love salem
Shouldnt be in the city. Bewitched has nothing to do with Salem besides both have witches in them
One of the fun tourist attractions to see in Salem, make sure when you visit the statue to rub her nose for good luck.
Walking along and found this statuary of Elizabeth Montgomery from the Bewitched TV sitcom series of the 60s.
Common place to stop and take a picture if you are visiting Salem.
Its cool but the bronze over accentuate her features making her look crazy
Cute.
Great place to visit
Just cool
Simple but beautifull
Looked cool
If you stumble across it, okay, dont go looking because you think its going to be special...
Love love love!!
Major attraction in downtown Salem
Loved the show!
Cool.
I didn’t see the excitement about this. To me it was just a statue about a tv show witch. I found it to be disappointing since I had gone to Salem to see true history about witchcraft and the trials. We went elsewhere to find that information and those sites.
A must do attraction for Bewitched fans
The kitschy part of Salem witchery. Located at Lappin Park, intersection of Essex & Washington Sts.
Perfect place to stop by.
Strike a pose
Washington Square. George Washington visited here in his first Administration.
It is the bewitched sculpture
Spooky
Nice
Has literally nothing to do with Salem or its history. Terrible ugly thing.
