Very clean. Medium length trails here that are paved which is nice for when its wet out. Its verrry hilly though, so if youre looking for a casual walk, this may be a bit of a workout lol. Lots of squirrels and beautiful trees.

Right off hwy 92. Trail is heavily wooded and paved. Mostly flat. Wide enough to allow personal space. Has a small pond for fishing. Two major trails run parallel most of the time. Would be good if they used the inside space as well. Traffic noise is not shielded for quite a bit part of the trail.

This is my absolute favorite trail to take my littles to get out and investigate all things nature. We always bring our rain boots to play in the creeks and wear our play clothes. ;)Its also an amazing trail to run. Of course be on the lookout for snakes. Weve encountered a couple there, even a copperhead. Great teaching moment to share the world with all creatures even those who could hurt us.

This park is absolutely the best for taking a nice walk, hike, or jog. There are lots of trees, so it is not super hot during summer compared to somewhere without any shades. There are several routes, but it takes about 30 mins to an hour with nice ups and downs.

I almost dont want to tell everyone how wonderful this place is because I dont want it to get overrun but it is amazing. Very well shaded with a crushed gravel path that makes walking easy. Mild elevation change and a neat little lake in the back with a few streams along the way. Plenty of parking in different areas near the entrance and a quick little loop right on 92. Dog friendly and wide paths with porta potties near the entrance and halfway mark in the back.

There are no ball fields, and the dog park is completely separate from the trail system, so no worries about its okay, hes a sweet dog when hiking or jogging the trails. Just a word of caution, some visitors are unfamiliar with trail etiquette, so be patient with them. Theyre still members of our wonderful community.

Roswell Parks really hit a home run for hikers with this gem of a park that we have been going to for many years, There is over 3 miles of dirt hiking trails with a number of bridges. Long timers can remember when the streams were wet-foot crossings. Many thanks to the local Boy Scouts who built some of the bridges.

There are some places to sit and enjoy the foliage, and space to have picnics (the heart of the purpose of this park). The walking trails are well maintained with a greystone gravel. Three different routes. The long one (red) takes you to the back of the property and back a century. You can still see the farm that was there. Theres a pond & couple of out buildings along the trail. 2.5 miles with moderate inclines. My dogs love walking the trail, on a leash of course.

Great hiking/walking trails. This is an awesome park. It has walking trails through the woods, almost completely shaded. The trails are well marked with maps showing the way. There are a few different routes to get different distances. The main parking is limited, but theres a one lane road through some trees that leads to overflow parking. Theres a wheel chair accessable outhouse at the parking. The trails are packed gravel/dirt. Ive always brought my backpack carrier for my two year old. You might be able to do a jogging stroller with good wheels, but it might be uneven/slightly rocky in places. There is a nicely landscaped area between the parking lot and the road, with some benches for resting or eating lunch. Go check it out.

Review №77

A favorite place for light hiking and trail running. I discovered this little trail system about 7 years ago when my daughter was first born. I put the baby her in the baby jogger and did the loops to help get off the baby weight. Its a gravel trail. Its well-maintained and well-marked. there are several loops varying in distance from about 1.25 miles to 2.5 miles. when I really want to work out hard I just loop back around the other direction and can double down or add any number of intervals to make it a little more lengthy. parking is decent. However, you may have to park in the overflow area if its a really pretty day or primetime on the weekend. Theres access to the dog off leash area, too. There are nice hills its rolling and if youre not in great shape you just take it easy. There are plenty of benches that you can sit on along the way. The only annoyances that you have to make a u-turn to get in if youre coming from Woodstock or Roswell on highway 92.

Love this park. Excellent non-paved paths through a mature forested area. There is a small pond and a creek in some sections (be careful during warmer months of copperheads). There are some hills for decent exercise, but this would still be considered easy. Theres also a nice dog park divided by size. The larger dog area is a bit of a steep hill which is great if you want to tire your dog out while playing fetch, but not so great if their bathroom spot of choice is at the bottom.

Trails of crushed granite meander through a quiet wooded area. Bridges add charm and ease when crossing the small streams which lead to a picturesque lake. Only catch & release fishing is permitted. This park is absolutely beautiful. The hiking trails wind through the woods and around a gorgeous lake. The trees give perfect shade in the summer, and in the fall, the leaves are beautiful. Every time Ive walked the trails, Ive seen deer run along the trail. I wouldnt think you could get started close to nature so close to town.
