Nice wide paths. Great for biking, walking and roller skating! Trail varies a lot, through the city, in fields, woods. Mixes it up and keeps it interesting.

Awesome trail for walking and biking, it also makes getting around easier.

A place for solitude & staying healthy. As well as enjoying the sculptures along the trail network. Impossible to get lost, as there are many map displays along the trail. Even a picnic table, under the water tower for a meal. Very clean. And wildlife consists of hawks, owls, deer, raccoon, porcupine, woodpeckers, Blue Heron, muskrat, fox, possum, Bluebird, and at night, the elusive predatory Fisher can be seen playing in the snow, usually near the creek.The trail is paved, making it convenient for runners, walkers, cyclists, handicap, and is accessible from a variety of parking areas. Best-of-all...the Trail, is kept clear of snow in the Winter season.The only item the trail needs is a gazebo sculpture, or a small picnic pavilion. Even some green or blue colored LED lighting for night.The trail is quite exemplary located on a technology park/International Airport, across from Rome Free Academy high school.

Well kept, pretty trail. My only complaint is that there is no crosswalk button/signal by Staley.

Interesting pathway takes you past the sight of a bygone hospital where only an unmarked cemetery remain,. Ride or walk past Fort and view the Erie canal

Nice you can stay on the paved trail or go off on side trails. Lots of wildlife, saw deer, geese and ducks. Amazing right in center of Rome.

Love the trails. I meet all kinds of interesting people when Im on the trails in my power wheelchair.

The Mowhawk River Trail is my favorite trail to ride my bike in Rome. Good hills and long trails. Just gotta be courteous to other people and know that there are others on the trail. I often use the trails as a means to get from downtown to mvcc. Easy access to Floyd Avenue.
